Mineral Wells, TX My name is Dan Hughes I am happily married and have 5 wonderful children. I've been into Fitness & Nutrition for some time now. I decided to start working out seriously in 2006. I just looked into the miror one day and didn't like what I saw, I was way too skinny back then. I also decided if I want to be able to set a good example,be healthy and be there for my children, then I My name is Dan Hughes I am happily married and have 5 wonderful children. I've been into Fitness & Nutrition for some time now. I decided to start working out seriously in 2006. I just looked into the miror one day and didn't like what I saw, I was way too skinny back then. I also decided if I want to be able to set a good example,be healthy and be there for my children, then I better make a change.When I first started working out more seriously I only was 6ft 1in tall and weighed 160 lbs, so I came up with a workout program that allowed me to break my skinny boy cycle. In just 10 weeks I jumped up to 180 Lbs, I did this by lifting heavy weights 4-5 times a week and increasing my calories per day to about 3000-3500. Every since then I did tons of research on fitness and nutrition, I started to have a deep passion for it. Over the years I started to notice how excited it made me feel to have people come to me and ask for advice, and to be able to help them hit their own goals as well.
Back in 2009 I decided to do a little experiment on myself. I had personal experience with gaining weight and know how to help someone loss weight, but I didn't have the experience in lossing weight. So I stopped all my training and started eating very unhealthy. I planned on doing this for a year, but my health started to drop quickly so the end of March 2010, I stopped the experiment. When I started the experiment, in June 2009 , I weighed 187 Lb with about 20-21% bodyfat. As of April 1 2010 I weighed 200 Lbs with about 29-30% bodyfat. I did this experiment because I wanted to be able to feel the mental challenges it would bring me so I would be able to coach people through their challenges as well, from my own personal experience. Its been a rough ride but I'm still moving forward.
I am currently going through a 90 day home fitness program called P90X and decided to team up with the company Beachbody that provides it. I've become one of thier Independent Beachbody Coachs. My wife went through this program already and had awesome results! She went from a size 10 to a size 4 in 90 days! So I already know this program works and I am very excited to see my end results!
Beachbody is an awesome company who truly believes in helping people achieve their fitness goals. They have teamed up with many professional fitness trainers such as Tony Horton, creator of P90x. Beachbody offers many home fitness programs and nutritional supplements to fit the needs of anyones goals.When you sign up for one of thier programs they offer you a free fitness coach. This is why I decided to team up with this company.They also offer an opportunity to those who are interested in making a difference in peoples lives by becoming a coach as well.As an Independent Beachbody Coach I will provide you with suggestion,motivation,tips and ideals to coach you to success. I will help you stay on track of your goals,this is my way of giving back to the community.
