My email address is Below as well! I WANT to help YOU! Let me start by saying I have a pretty good life. A Gorgeous and loving wife, 2 great kids, and not much too complain about really. I live in Freeland, MI and grew up in Saginaw not more than 10 miles away. I am 34 years old. I’m a Service Executive by trade with more than 15 years in the Service and Telecommunications industry. I work in a high stress environment but have always been very good about letting go at the end of the day because to me life really starts after 5 with family and friends! I’m not defined by what I do during the day! You'll be remembered after you leave this life by how you spent time with people you Love! To be met at the door when I get home with hugs from my kids is what makes life so good for me! In addition to family and friends, I have several hobbies which fill out my time such as being a Coaster enthusiast and always looking for the next biggest thrill. Also love to travel and follow my favorite band Linkin Park around the country at different venues. Finally my biggest Love is for anything Michigan State University. Being proud Alumni, I love and follow anything to do with my university! Go Green! One hole and struggle in my life has always been my fitness since being an athlete in high school. You see in my early twenties I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and struggled with that for over 5 years before deciding to have several surgeries to rid myself of those symptoms and personal hell Colitis can cause. I had my Colon removed and “new” plumbing created, Also had my gall bladder taken out in addition. All in all I had 6 abdominal surgeries spread over 10 years that caused an environment kind of dangerous for fitness and getting in shape to be honest. As you can see fitness in the last several years was tough for me and as a result I got comfortable in life and gained weight I didn’t need or want. By last Fall I had reached a weight over 212 lbs and simply said I had enough. Lucky for me I re-connected with a childhood friend on the internet and found my answer. His name was Jason Diebold and he is a fitness coach for Beachbody. After reading his story and seeing his results I decided to start my own journey with his guidance. I’ll admit I was very apprehensive about it all considering my abdominal condition and if I could do it, but with me anything I start it becomes a personal mission to complete. I have to succeed…Boy did I… My Websites: See my Transformation in pictures and video! http://tinyurl.com/SpartysWin http://www.pbase.com/jeffreyspartan/power90&page=all Coaches Site http://www.TeamSparty.info http://www.TeamSparty.com Jeffrey Armbruster Beachbody Coach 989-284-1502 jeffreyspartan@ameritech.net http://www.TeamSparty.info TeamSparty@gmail.com Now onto my transformation story people! I was used to being in pretty decent shape in my high school years and early twenties. I was an athlete throughout school and strived to stay in good healthy shape. Shortly after college after being diagnosed with colitis and struggling on and off with poor health for many years there, my weight and fitness fluctuated up and down. The thing with colitis is a lot of healthy good foods like fruits and vegetables can actually trigger an attack and be bad for your disease. I grew to accept the fact to keep myself in a remission state I had to eat foods that were not always the best on the healthy lifestyle food chain. As a result I gained a lot of weight. I tried to hit the gym and do some cardio to counteract the weight gain but nothing really interested me and took. Over the next several years I had numerous surgeries and didn’t concentrate on anything but recovery and trying to stay in remission from m y colitis. Accept and live really with a new anatomy or lack of! In addition I was always scared to do too much with my abdominal area for fitness and its condition. In essence I got very comfortable in life and you all know where that leads. Late last year I went to Florida and really had a good time with my family and good friends. We did the parks and many days on the beach. It wasn’t until I got home and looked at our pictures that I realized I was becoming an overweight slob! I knew I had to do something. I begin looking for an answer and like a god send I re-connected with a childhood friend thru facebook that had my answer! His name was Jason Diebold and I hadn’t seen or talked to him since high school. After discussions and looking at his Bio I learned he was a Beachbody coach and had gotten in such great shape by doing Power 90 and P90X. It intrigued and kind of scared me all at the same time! I mean could my body handle such programs and would I see the kind of results I wanted and desired? Well I was determined to find out! He and I set a plan in place and I begin my Journey. You see I’m really a determined type of person. It’s in my personality and part of what makes my fabric. Once I commit to something I almost become obsessed with completion and seeing it thru. I knew I would finish but was very curious what it would be in the end for me. First up was Power 90! It was October 1st, 2008 and time to bring it. I first started by setting a goal to eat clean for 90 days. Not a scripted diet but just give up the stuff I knew was bad. Using the power 90 diet guide as a compass really, I bought the supplements recommended and also protein powder to go with it. Next was Tony himself and the workouts! The first couple weeks were a struggle to get thru but with each workout I felt myself getting stronger and more inspired by Tony and the energy he brings to the workouts. He really inspired me to continue pressing play and reaching my goals. Tony just has a self confidence that is infectious! I really begin to feed off that and started to see results. I where possible added a little extra cardio on the treadmill but really stuck to the power 90 workouts as my guide. Before I knew it 30 days had gone by and I was starting to really see some small gains as I was down 8 pounds and gaining more energy. The rest day I struggled with because I wanted to keep going! All in all the workouts were going great! By the time I finished my 90 days I had lost almost 30lbs and went from 212 to 184. I was ecstatic and starting to see definition in areas I hadn’t in a long time. Best of all my abdominal area was reacting in a good way and gave me more inspiration after so many surgeries prior. Working closely with Jason throughout, we decided it was time for the MOTHER of all workout programs, P90X. With just a few days break I begin my journey thru X in January 2009 after Power 90. Added fuel for me was an upcoming vacation near the end of P90X to Mexico where I wanted to look great without my shirt on while enjoying the beach. That was another goal I wanted for myself from X. I started additional measures such as the P90X protein bars as well as the P90X recovery drink. Begin doing the scripted P90X phased diet and came up with a style that worked for me by mapping out each days meals to work with the blocks I was allowed in the diet. This ensured I was sticking to the diet plan! Worked well for me. Then came the workouts! At first it was a little culture shock as they were so intense compared to Power 90 but I adapted very quickly. Instantly loved everything we were doing and the fact they were all designed to work several areas over this 90 day timeframe. I even began to like Yoga a little with YogaX.. Ha-ha. I was not a big fan in Power 90 or yoga in general. Kenpo, Plyometrics, the weight routines such as Shoulders and Arms, and Chest and Back were so fun that I worked harder each time and started to see results quickly. What was great was all the attention I was getting from family and friends. They were amazed on what I had done to my body and was in awe considering my prior medical history. P90X and I were just made to for each other. My body was reacting very well despite all my history. Now Done too with P90X, P90X+ is next! I look at my pictures from Day 1 thru 180 and am just so tickled how my body responded. My vacation to Mexico was wonderful. It was full of sun, good friends, and good times in general. The best part though is all the pictures of me on the beach. Because of Beachbody I am proud of my pictures and love showing them to hear the comments. Incredible! I am so proud of what I have accomplished. Thanks to Jason Diebold, Tony Horton, and Beachbody! Thank you all. I look to the future now and am excited! I will NEVER be overweight again! I am proof after 6 surgeries and a bad attitude towards fitness that you can change! If your reading looking for inspiration I am proof! Call me and lets get motivated!
