Austin, TX My name is Laura and I live in Austin, TX. I have been a coach since October 2009 and am committed to living a healthy lifestyle and helping my friends and family do the same. Everyone deserves to reach their goals that they set for themselves. Some just need a little push and extra determination and I'm here to help. Until June of 2010,my activities included running, kayaking, biking, yoga, P90-X and boot-camp 2X week. With all that activity, I managed to develop a hairline stress fracture in the left ball of my foot. I was swimming after the injury but turns out even that is preventing my foot from healing. I am limited to working out on the stationary bike now, but am making the best of it. No lunges, planks or push-ups. I have been in between surgical boots and air casts for almost a year and hopefully I'm 100% soon. I was married here in Austin in October 2010. I have been working out and staying healthy my whole life, thanks to great role-models like my parents. Starting in middle school, my dad brought me "gifts" like Richard Simmons "Sweating to the Oldies", Denise Austin and Bodies In Motion videos. Remember those? Thanks dad! I was in drill team for 7 years which kept me busy and in shape, in college I maintained good eating and work out habits and now in my professional life, I prioritize my health and fitness.
