Hi Everyone! I'm Barbara Dempsey, wife of Patrick Dempsey...(the Golf Pro not the actor!) I'll be turning 50 in June, and I've been feeling pretty yucky for the past 8 years. Growing up, I was one of those that were naturally thin & fit. Very low body fat. I would eat what I wanted, when I wanted, although I always weighed more than my appearance. I looked like I was 105lbs but Hi Everyone! I'm Barbara Dempsey, wife of Patrick Dempsey...(the Golf Pro not the actor!) I'll be turning 50 in June, and I've been feeling pretty yucky for the past 8 years. Growing up, I was one of those that were naturally thin & fit. Very low body fat. I would eat what I wanted, when I wanted, although I always weighed more than my appearance. I looked like I was 105lbs but weighed 122, wearing a size 2. That is until I had my son at age 33. I went from Fab to Flab in one year. Ballooned up to 195 at the time of delivery, and then maintained 165lbs ever since. On the average I’ll fluctuate between 155-160lbs. By age 41, I started menopause and have been a wreck ever since. However...my husband Pat has been an angel through it all. Pat has always been an athlete and is incredibly sexy and fit at 51, but he wasn't happy with his overall fitness either. His buddy Jason Scheff turned him on to Beachbody. Pat started with the P90X program. Pat & Jason's enthusiasm was so infectious that I wanted some of what they were having...so I purchased the Power 90. Pat & I have become coaches for a couple of reasons…to hold us accountable to getting fit & healthy and …this is an incredible way to spread the word of a better lifestyle! I started by cleaning out the cupboards of all the junk and replacing it with fresh fruits, veggies, dried fruits & nuts. My goal is to be fit at 50, & sensational at 60! Had a fish sandwich from BK and actually didn't feel well the rest of the day. Beachbody has really helped me think twice about what I'm putting into my body and the bonus is, I have reached the point where I look forward to working out! Thank you Beachbody
