I had been really active as a teenager and in my 20s. In fact, I worked in as a backpacker and youth counselor for many years. Then, I returned to school to finish my degree and took a job in as the More ...
I had been really active as a teenager and in my 20s. In fact, I worked in as a backpacker and youth counselor for many years. Then, I returned to school to finish my degree and took a job in as the managing copy editor for the paper. It meant lots of long study hours, and lots of long days in front of the computer, and lots of stress with school papers and tests, and newspaper deadlines. I wasn't hiking 4-10 miles everyday anymore, and I slowly started to gain weight. I gained about 20 extra pounds that I just seemed to hang on in the last 4 years. Although I eat better now, more fruits and vegetables and a lot less sugar, I still carried the extra weight. I have already dropped from a size 14 to a size 12 just from better eating habits, and I am almost back to a size 10. My goal is to really be back into a size 7/8, and I am on my way.
