Ab Ripper X - right after workout or a few hours later?
Just finished Day 2 (Plyo) of week three. Brought it.
I work out in the mornings - for the first two weeks I did the AbRipperX right after the main workout. Yesterday morning, because of time - I waited. Did it as soon as I got home from work - about 12 hours after the am workout. I did about twice as many of the reps as I had done the last time. A little of this is increasing ability - but the lions share was being rested - coming to the AbRipper without being toast from the workout!

How are people using the AbRipper? Right after the workout, or a break between the workout and the ripper? Let me hear your thoughts - thanks!

I'll do the Ab Ripper right after completing the workout. I prefer to work out in the evening when I get home from work, so splitting them up is not really an option for me. There's no reason you can't split them up if you need to but just be sure to warm up a little bit before doing Ab Ripper.

I agree about the ease of ab ripper if you wait 8 to 12 hours. I am trying to split it up if possible to improve my intesity of ab ripper. I am now trying to wait at least 1 to 2 hours. I suppose it really has to depend on scheduling. Doing it immediately afterwards was a joke for me since I could not get proper form or enough reps to be at 50%. Maybe someday.

Due to time constraints I usually do it right after the workout but I definitely know what your going through. The pause button was my best friend for several weeks until i got to where I could almost keep up. I'm on my second round of P90X now and I find it must easier to keep up. The first time I went through the program though it was tough. Honestly, I think whatever works for you is whats best. We are all different. I'm just one of those people that If I have something I consider unpleasant to do ( and I definitely used to think it as very unpleasant and somedays still do), I want it over. This program to me is like an endurance race. You might not be in the lead at the turn but if you make it to the finish line where you expect to then you've accomplished you goal. Whatever keeps you "pushing play" Good luck !!

I do it right after, but I'm also on the Lean schedule and I only need to do Ab Ripper twice a week, for Shoulders and Arms/Legs and Back. After the first couple weeks I started getting the hang of it, and I can do about all but 10 of every workout, so if they ask for 25 I'll do 15 or 16, and for the Mason Twists I do about 35-40, and I'm good with that for now. My goal is to lose weight at the moment.

I split the workouts again today. Really have a lot more to bring to the ab workout when I do this. Nice to have a short workout after work too - clear the head and body out a bit. I can seriously do twice as many of the ab reps with a break.
