Should I warm-up and stretch before Insanity?
I start up tomorrow bright and early, and have read on some other sites that Sean doesn't always do the best job of warming up before the jumping and plyo-stuff start up.

I definitely don't think you need to warm up or stretch beforehand. The warm up (all 9 minutes) is tough but the first round is slow enough that it gets you warm for the next 2 rounds. You then stretch for 5-6 min, which is more than adequate. The only thing I think Shawn doesn't stretch enough in month one is your calves which will be very sore your first week so you might want to stretch them a little more esp post workout.

Thanks Jim and Ami! Looking forward to it after all I've heard!

It will be super hard but also super rewarding and definitely worth the hard work! It is almost addictive and I don't know if I will ever be able to go back to "regular" cardio after Insanity. Good luck on your fit test and Cardio Plyo Circuit (which I can just now get all the way through without an extra break...after a full round of Insanity and a month of the hybrid). Let us know how it goes!

Hopefully you are well into it now. For others that might read this thread I suggest doing the warm-up that is in the video but then mixing in some of the P90X stretches in the stretching segment. For me, Tony's stretches work better than Shaun T's. For others it may be the other way around so find what works for you. I especially need to add the calf stretches from downward dog as Insanity is really testing my calves in the early going.
