Hey everyone,

After 4 years, multiple rounds of P90X, Insanity, Asylum, and the One on One workouts, I've reached the X.. Round 10. Starting on 6/27, as part of That Team's 90 day challenge, we're going to slam a hybrid of P90X, Insanity, and Asylum, with a One on One workout thrown in for good measure here and there.

Whether you've done mulitple rounds of any program, or are just a beginner, jump in and let's rock this. You can change your life in 90 days; are you ready to make that happen?

Just remember my mantra: It's only pain. Pain is just weakness leaving your body. BRING IT!

Let's do this!!!!

I'm very excited to start on Mon. I think that what Chris, James, Allan, and I will be doing is Classic P90X with the running hybrid as modeled in issue 23 of the TBB newsletter. I know that I'm going to stick to wearing that extra 10lbs. vest for this entire round because I want to get shredded! There's no point in trying to bulk up while we're going to be doing all this ruuuh ruuuuh rruuuuhhhhniiiinn LOL.

Hopefully I'll be able to adjust the calorie intake accordingly, maintain the current weight/rep count for my resistance days, etc. Just to jog my system I was thinking of going Primal Blueprint for Phase 1 and then switching and finishing with The Warrior Diet/Anti-Estrogenic Diet.

Also some great news, I am coaching a good friend of mine through her first round of P90X and they are starting on Monday as well. She will be doing it along with her boyfriend who has already completed one round of P90X. We have a great accountability system that we set up today and they signed up for free accounts. I know I'll have some new Shakeology customers in a few days!

Rock on guys...we are going to crush this.

Jon - get your friends to join us here as they get ready to start as well. Having a daily place to post accountability and get questions answered helps out a TON!

I'm off to do TF HIIT 20 + HIIT 25.

Hey, gang.

I've been posting on Derek's old thread, and decided to join up over here. I'm Currently in month 2 of my first round of INSANITY.

For those who don't know, I'm born and raised in California, but now am working on the North Slope of Alaska oil fields. I work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week; two weeks on, and two weeks off. It's 13 vacations a year. I don't really have a non-work home at the moment, but am looking around before making a decision. I can live pretty much anywhere I choose to, and the state with the second highest personal income tax doesn't sound like the best idea.

Today was Max Cardio Conditioning. I can honestly say that it went. Once again, Shaun T makes me feel like the first month didn't even happen. I am hoping that this feels better in the future, but I'm sure it will. It just takes a little faith. Decide, commit, succeed (where have I heard that before?)

Hey Crew,

Tonight Kim and I did TurboFire HIIT 25 & HIIT 20. Good combo of classes, decent sweat. I'm taking it light on cardio this week, and will hit everything hardcore next week when Round X officially begins.

I'll go through and post the hybrid schedule I'll be doing for anyone that wants to come along full bore. I may make this a 4 Phase routine, just to add a set of the One on One workouts to it, because I like Base & Back, and V Sculpt a lot.

Russ - MCC is a rough workout. I'm good with short burst high energy things, so the HIIT workouts from TF are awesome for me. Long set endurance work is my nemesis.. Chris, Allan, Jon, Kim and I (and a couple of others) did a "Kettlebell Walk" a while back and it destroyed me.

Cyd - great to have you with us as well! Lazy summer? There is no such thing!

Jay - UH OH!! Look at that, we dragged JerseyJay out of hiding. Great to have you back with us bro! Those who don't know, Jay has been busy with his hands full of new baby in the last few months.

This is gonna be an awesome round everyone!

Good Morning...

WOW...this IS gonna be a great thread...Chris, Allen, Jon and Derek from THAT TEAM together...ooooh gives me goose bumps emoticon

Anyway...did my first go with Just Arms this morning and it was just WOW! The forearm moves were a little ratty...took a while to dial in those correct weight...but loved...I mean LOVED the crazy (Friggen) 8's at the end...the very last set...man...my left arm just failed with 3 to go (which is a good thing)...took a short break and knocked out 5 more...Pace of this one was really good...less time BS'ing between reps. That was the one downer on the Plyo Legs...I would have liked the pace to be a little faster.

Needless to say this ones a keeper. Hope to post a video review of this workout and Diamond Delts next week...

I will probably marry this up with Diamond Delts and do together the next time (in 3 weeks) I do this resistance rotation (including the 30/15).

Looking forward to blasting the next 90 days with everyone...Core Synergistics on tap for tomorrow.

Have a good one...

Patrick

D:

I'm in for sure. Starting next week the plan is to incorporate running with P90X and/or workouts from the One on One's all using the usual Classic P90X schedule.

Gotta keep this short b/c I'm heading to work soon.

Everyone else, woo! Let's do this!

Good Morning!

W3D5 of my hybrid today. Thursdays are always my "core" day so I did Back to Core from Asylum with 20-12 abs as the cherry on top. Those hanging ab moves get me every time! I used to only be able to do 10 reps of the hanging moves but I pushed for either 11 or 12 today, felt good and got a good sweat going.

Derek - Sweet new thread, can't believe you basically walked away from the old one though after 300+ pages!

Russ - Keep at it, the month 2 Insanity workouts become a bit easier...never easy, just easier

Patrick - Keep in mind that Plyo Legs is a resistance routine. Too many people try to compare it to Plyo X, but it is not designed that way. You are SUPPOSED to take breaks after each move to let the legs recover a bit before hitting the next move!

I am out for now, everyone enjoy their Thursday!

-Tyler

Hey Derek and That Team,

I am three weeks into my 3rd round of P90X, so I will just join in here with y'all.

Today is Week Three Day 7, so tonight is X Stretch.

Thanks to some That Team coaching by Chris, I am going heavier on arms and creeping up with my pushup numbers. Also, my pullup numbers are beyond anything I ever imagined.

I am up to 14 reps per move for Ab ripper X. I started at 12 per move and I will end at 25 per move by week 13. Baby steps can take you miles and miles because even baby steps get bigger in time.

Hey crew,

Missed posting the last two days. Tuesday was plyo and it hummbled me, not sure why... Probably had to do with the 80%+ humidity and heat in the garage. I almost skipped the bonus round and then I knew I would not be pleased with myself so I did it and am happy for that choice.

Yesterday was S&A and was totally wasted when I was done. Seriously great pump. I am gaining some serious arm muscle already, not sure why though, gotta keep up with my yoga as I don't want to be tight, I like the flexibility that yoga brings.

Weight loss has plataeued for some reason though, clothes are getting looser though, so that is a plus. I see the fat coming off my upper body and legs, just not my gut. I know it is just how I lose weight, but I want it off.

Well, time to go do yoga, namaste

Afternoon everybody!

Man I'm pumped about this thread and the upcoming round! I'm a little under the weather so I'm taking things a little easy on myself at the moment so I can be 100% come next week.

Last night at our fit club, I forgot all of our AV doohickys so I called up D and he helped me put together the PAP workout that Tony did with us here in DC recently. I took the group through the entire thing and it was a great time as always. We started out at one minute and 45 second intervals but when we started running out of time we switched it up to 30 seconds on the last few rounds.

For this upcoming round, I need to go all out for ripped city. I've been on the pudgy side lately and I'm tired of it! With this thread and the 90 Day Commitment to Change group I'm running, I have no doubt that these next 90 (or maybe 120 D!) days are going to be incredible!

Go get it guys!!

Man this is going to be crazy! I love all this accountability and forward change going on! emoticon

D- sent out messages to them about joining. So far we've got a good base foundation going and I'm expecting goals from them both hopefully today.

I'm beat. I totally need some form of recovery, stretch, and or yoga today. I can't wait to start on Mon. and hoping to have the groceries set for starting Primal on Mon. as well.

Let's do this!

I am in too. It's been a while since I have been on the boards. My life has been crazy busy, but never does it get in the way for my daily workouts. I am currently in a rotation that I will finish up this month and then I was planning on doing Asylum/P90X. I loved Asylum so much and I miss it, but I wanted to try the hybrid. I will try to be on here as much as possible. I have 2 jobs, 4 children and I just started up boot camps outside my home. It's all good though.

I am glad I saw Derek's post on Facebook about this.

Hey gang - I'll jump in too. (I changed my screen name by the way...decided I don't like "snow" as much as I like to be fit!)

D - are you going to post that hybrid schedule? I could start a new round Monday too. I do'nt have asylum but could do X/Insanity. I only have about 4 of the OoO's too, but I think I could make it work. Is Kim joining in?

I hurt my shoulder this past weekend, so I've been taking it easy this week with mostly cardio workouts. I think I'll leave it completely alone until Monday's workout.

have a great night everyone!

Ok Coach, have you decided your day 1 workout on Monday? Mine will be Core Synergistics, Day 1 of Lean P90X. I'm sticking to the P90X schedule but plugging from other programs, glad to see others are doing a similar hybrid.

Today is doubles for me--did Yoga this morning and tonight is competitive USTA tennis. Wish me luck!

Hey Gang,

I will join in the fun!!! Great to see and read some familiar members.

I have done multiple rounds of P90X, P90X+, Insanity, and One On One hybrids. I am currently on a weight lifting routine adding some mass and strength.

Body Measurements:
5’6.5” (yes the 1/2 inch is important ;))160 lbs with 9-10% body fat with 40.75” chest, 15.25” arms, and 30.25” waist.

I will be doing one more cycle of Wendler’s 5/3/1 bodybuilding hybrid before doing Asylum.

I love the advice Derek and the gang put forth. Let’s bring it!!!

Some before and after pics.
