How much weight can I lose doing Insanity?
How much weight can I lose doing Insanity?
3rd week of insanity
7/14/11 10:25 PM
I'm currently in the middle of week three, and I've only lost about five pounds. But I'm not complaining, I'm definitely not stopping now. I am 5'3 and about 140 pounds. Am I going to make it to 120 by the end of the sixty days?

I can't follow the meal plan exactly, but I'm cutting out processed foods and trying to eat as clean as possible. It's worked so far. Will I make it?

Heck yes you will make it!!!!! Congrats on losing 5 pounds already. Remember that when you're involved with a fitness program you're gaining muscle as well, so losing 5 pounds of fat and putting on muscle in 2.5 weeks is great!

Keep going, it's better than the alternative emoticon

Normally 2-3 pounds a week max is doable. So you're looking at 10 pounds of 'healthy' weight loss in a month. Insanity is 2 months, so yes, as long as you stick with the workouts and di deep and follow the nutrition guide as closely as you can, you will do it! As an example, I lost 35 pounds during my first P90X round (actually met my goal weight), I went through another modified round of P90X (77 days, picked up with my brother-in-law's 90 days), and have now finished two weeks of Insanity. You can really control your weight with a solid nutrition plan.

Keep it up!

Enjoy life!
