Hi Shaselai!

I found a post a few days ago that posted a good hybrid workout schedule for P90X and Insanity. I am hoping it will allow me to copy it here. It was originally posted by CoachKory. It looks like a great workout - I may make a few adjustements because I really like the P90X plyo and Kenpo workouts, maybe alternate Insanity/P90X cardio workouts every week.

Good luck!! I'll be starting this in 2 weeks - just finished my first round of P90X yesterday.

Suz

thanks for the replies! I looked at the 2 worksheets and they are more or less the same but there seem to be 2 distinct differences in choice of workouts.

No yoga X but Cardio Recovery for "colored schedule"
No legs & back/arx but pure cardio for "colored schedule"

So I guess it seems to come down to which of the workouts are "the best".... Anyone would like to comment on which workouts is better for more weight loss? I guess from a beginner's POV cardio is probably better than legs & back since it helps lose weight the most? yoga x and cardio recovery seems to be a wash....

thanks!

Shaselai,

In my opining Insanity works your legs every day to max, and you don't really need to do the p90x legs workout. Cardio Recovery is similar to Yoga in that it has some of the same moves, and a lot of stretching, but I would say you burn just as many calories in half the time.

I just started the hybrid so you are welcome to come join my thread and join me.
