Doing a P90X and INSANITY hybrid? Or INSANITY and Asylum hybrid? Now you can auto-schedule your hybrid workouts in WOWY! Whatever schedule you're doing, just make sure you have both programs listed in your programs library here and then add your auto-schedule here in WOWY SuperGym!

I saw your post, and was excited to see that you can combine two programs and get an automatic schedule created for you. I really like Turbo Jam for cardio, and Chalene Extreme for weight training. So I would love to get a schedule combining those two.

But I just tried to create an auto-scheduled workout of Turbo Jam with Chalene Extreme, and I don't see an option to do that. I clicked both of those in my library, and then went to the WOWY supergym to create the schedule, but I didn't see a hybrid link pop up allowing you to submit BOTH workouts.

Three separate links came up for me to click on one of the three workouts, (either, Turbo Jam beginner, Turbo Jam advanced, or Chalene Extreme), but there was no option to combine my two workout syles. It will only give me a schedule of ONE workout type at a time. So when I clicked TJ advanced, it gave me a whole month of nothing but that.

Any ideas on how I can get Chalene Extreme thrown into the mix for that schedule? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Yes, This new option is awesome! I'm now doing the P90X / P90X+ Hybrid program, but would love to see a P90X+ / Insanity Hybrid ... Any possibility for that??

I am doing Insanity now, That is what my next plan is. P90X with Insanity Cardio and Core seems the way to go

This is a great service. I have been combining P90X with Insanity for a while on my own for a while now. For a great evening workout, try Insanity Abs and follow directly with Ab-ripper. It might sound crazy but the workouts are actually a good compliment to each other.

If you look in the back of your TurboFire book, "Turn up the Burn," there is a schedule for TurboFire and Chalean Extreme.

It is great to see that you can combine certain programs. I am currently doing TurboFire and Chalean X myself. It would be great if BB would put in a feature that would include some of the other programs like Turbo Jam or Rev Abs. They are coming out with so many new things now (have you heard???) that this may be an option in the future!

I love doing the hybrid system but the way i like it. I like doing P90x for weight training, then right after i love doing insanity(original) or asylum.

@Keith The Dude - It won't let me combine two workouts in auto-schedule. It asks if I want to replace my second choice with my first choice. Am I doing something wrong? Or, did you just mean that we can print out both schedules on our own and do it that way?

I have already completed The Insanity program & The Asylum program & am now on week 2 of Insanity/Insanity-the Asylum hybrid! Im gonna start scheduling it in WOWY! Thx for letting us know ;)

I started the second month of Insanity (longer/harder workouts) and was wondering if you guys have any suggestion on how to properly increase your calorie intake since the workouts are harder and longer.
I tried to keep the same food intake for the first month but it says that since our body is burning more fuel/energy, we have to eat more. What kind of food do you guys increase on? Protein, carbs, etc?!
I feel like I'm not burning more calorie than the first month but wasn't quite sure. I need some advice.

Hi Zidabelle! I just added 2 apples (carbs) to my meal plan for the 2nd month of insanity. I needed the extra carbs for energy cause the workouts were starting to take a toll on me =)

Thanks for the info. Did you follow the whole Nutrition Plan for Insanity? I use some of the meals but sometimes I have to substitute some stuff but since I started doing Insanity, I set a goal on my calorie intake of -500 from the 2163 daily calorie so basically I'm suppose to have 1663 a day (trust me, I go over 1663 once in awhile sometimes I go under but I made sure not to go over 1800, hahah!)

Since I started the program, I've lost about 3.6 lbs. I know that's not a lot because I started at the weight of 112.4 but all the pants that I used to wear that are tight are now loose (Yay!). The only problem I have is my pouch (and I heard this is the hardest part of your body to tone). After Insanity, I plan on doing the Core Exercises from P90X.

Hi everyone. Zidabelle17: great job in loosing 3.6 lbs. I am on the 2nd round of 2 month in Insanity and I still haven't lost any weight but I think I'm gaining the muscle. I started the Results & Recovery formula on my 2nd month, and yes, it did help! I didn't need to eat more. After the work out, I drink the formula and it energizes me throughout the whole day. It also helps with the muscle aches. Yes, that pouch is almost impossible to get rid of but the more we work on it, the more it will decrease! I'm wondering if anyone has a hybrid schedule for Chalean extreme & Insanity created? If so, can you send it to me? THanks!

Hello 143alyce...thanks, it's hard work! Honestly there were days that I just wanted to take a break but I kept telling myself that if start taking a break, I might just take a break anytime I feel like it so I pushed myself really hard not to take those breaks. I am also on the second month of Insanity. As a matter of fact, I finished the first week of the 2nd month so I have 3 more weeks of this crazy, INSANE work outs. I didn't have the Results and Recovery but I bought a Recovery drink from Vitamin World and since I started taking it, it helps with the muscle ache (although there's still a little bit of pain) but it helps me to go on with the work out the following day. During the 2nd month, I have water and Gatorade so whenever there's like 30 secs breaks during the work out, I drink the Gatorade and the water. Good luck on your work outs!

We're doing a P90X/Insanity hybrid as well, and love the auto schedule feature. Makes it even easier to start things up early in the morning and register our workouts in WOWY!

Zidabelle- Yes I followed all the recipes in the Insanity meal plan & kept my calorie intake at 1500 since I wanted to really shed some fat. I didnt buy the recovery formula, instead I bought Optimum Nutrition's "whey protein" powder from gnc. OMG it tastes amazing! A friend of mine who is a female body builder told me to use it right after my workouts. So I did & its yummy & filling! Dont worry about your results cause the 2nd month kicks you into high gear as Im sure you can tell =) O & I also didnt drink anything else but water! A gallon a day! & I still do that now that Im in the Insanity & Asylum hybrid.

HI maryeri: since you're doing both insanity and asylum- which one is more intense? how do you incorporate both cardio workouts in one day, or do you alternate days for each program? i'm just curious. thanks.
