Hey Guys and Gals - Are you finished with a round of P90X? Dug Deep with a round of Insanity? Now come with me and try a combination of the two programs. I promise you will love this workout...combining the muscle resistance of P90X and the craziness of the MAD Cardio of Insanity! We will be starting this program on Monday, September 26th. 13 weeks later, your body will be transformed, even more than it is now, all in time for 2012! I have attached an example of a Hybrid which I plan to use, but feel free to modify it to your desires. Look forward to tracking everyone's progress during this program.

HI!

I'm just doing P90X but thought I'd join in here anyway. Did my first workout today and loved it. I am so much more of a weight liftin gal! Never thought I'd be the one sayin that!

Hi All,
I have completed two rounds of Insanity and just finished Asylum this morning. I have a recovery week ahead of me and then on 9/26/2011 I am starting my VERY first round of P90X. Even though I am not doing the hybrid, can I join you? It would be great to be in a thread with P90X grads as I endure my first ever round of this program.

Great and glad you jumped on this thread. No problem, P90x, Insanity, Turbo Fire, Slim 6, whatever people are doing...everyone is welcome on this thread. It's more about motivation, focus, staying accountable, posting results, workouts, struggles, triumphs, and questions. That's what we are all here for.

i believe you will like P90X...combo of Muscle resistance and cardio. Tony's crdio is less intense than Shaun T's, but will still work you into a good sweat. Have fun and stay connected with us here.

Welcome to Dan's thread, happy to have you aboard.

Still little slow during down weeks between rounds. Did back and biceps this afternoon. Went golfing for usual Thursday match. Got in 2 holes before rain came. Had a drink waiting to see if it would clear, but wasn't going to wait forever, so came home and worked out. Lesson learned, don't have drinks before working outemoticon

Looking forward to getting back on my workout schedule on Monday. Also plan to clean up the diet. Been a little loose with what i've eating. Staying on track calorie wise, but not always best food choices.

Hi there,

I'm about two weeks into a P90X/Insanity hybrid. I'm seeing results already with the workouts and feeling more energetic. I think my biggest challenge is my diet/nutition, so i'm working on itemoticon Would love to join you all to stay motivated, get advice, and watch others achieve their goals too.

Hi All,
I'm in the middle of my recovery week and instead of doing a light workout tonight, I am going to take my very first P90X fit test and measurements to prepare for my first workout on Monday. I'm hoping to get out of town this weekend (and get in some GOOD hiking) so this is the best day to get this done.
Getting very excited to try out P90X and to see what it will be able to do for me at this stage in my fitness, etc. Gonna follow the nutrition plan as best I can and really bring it to the workouts. Looking forward to it...and having people to share the expreience with.

Welcome and thanks for jumping on this thread. Love the hybrid myself....the combination of the two workouts really gives me what i need...maintain muscle tone and definition and the crazy kick butt cardio that Insanity provides.

I think we all struggle with out nutrition...it's tough to stay 100% dedicated to a plan all the time. As long as you are staying comitted to eating as well as you can most of the time..that's the important thing. I struggle with it but stay on the horse as much as I can.

Look forward to hearing about your progress and your questions, comments, and advice for others.

Hey guys:

Got in a ployo circuit in yesterday before going out. My shoulders were shot during level 1 drills. Couldn't support my weight to make it thru ski abs and in/outs without stopping. Fine with the cardio part, just don't know why that's always a problem keeping my weight on the shoulders.

Emily: hope you knocked out the fit test. Have no doubt that you'll see big improvement when you take the test again after the round.

Joanne: think we all struggle with the nutrition part. I was great with nutrition during 1st round then only not bad since. Certainly much better eating than when started beach body. Overall, have to admit that whir it's still tough at times, I do my best. Assume I'll not be completey clean today going to Syracure tailgate party, then game, then tailgate again, then cocktail party. Wait, no assuming, I would be clean, however, I know that I won't go crazy like I would have before. Again, still need to enjoy yourself, and food ad drink are apart of that sometimes.

Have a good weekend all. New round in 2 days.

Hi Everyone,

I'm on track w/P90X and almost through my first week. Kenpo X today and stretch tomorrow. Love it!

Except for the Yoga...still not a fan! Any ideas on what would be a good sub? An hour & 1/2 is tough to struggle through when you hate it! I'm ok once he gets to the balance stuff but before that I'm like...not more... emoticon

Mike - Yep i still struggle with In/Outs, Ski Abs, spendiong alot of time in the plank position wears me out too and after awhile I'm beat and my arms, triceps and shoulders are toast.

Agree...got to still enjoy life!

Started Hybrid #2 today, as I will be out of town in Dallas on Monday and Tuesday. Brought it with Cardio Abs, Chest & Back.....missed it after a week off!
