Can anyone tell me why there are 24 servings in the individual packs and 30 servings in the bag? Thanks! emoticon

$$$. Same concept of why is Costco cheaper when you buy giant containers of food versus the smaller containers in the grocery store.....It costs more money to package and handle each individual serving versus putting a 30 day supply into a single bag. You are paying 20 percent more (24 individual servings versus 30 servings bulk) for convenience....

They likely picked 24 individual servings as that compares in cost to the 30 serving bulk.

If you do a 6 day program with a rest day and you're using Shakeology as a meal replacement once a day, a month's supply is 24 packets. I dunno if that's Beachbody's actual thought process, but it made sense to me.

Here's your official answer.

The 24 pack carton was designed for convenience and for on-the-go use. Those customers drinking Shakeology every day are advised to purchase the 30 day bag, which is also a better value. While we suggest that customers drink Shakeology DAILY for best results, we recognize that some do not. Those customers may prefer the 24 pack. We have found that many customers buy both the bag and the cartons, using the [portable] packettes as their lifestyle dictates.


Additionally, I think it's more expensive to produce the individual packs, but they wanted to keep the prices for the two options the same, so they adjusted accordingly.

I have some very small Glad plastic containers, they came with a boxed variety set. One scoop fits perfect in one.
Buy the big bag, make my own individual portable single servings. emoticon

Or if u want to look at it this way...the bag is for yourself and the individual packets are for u to pass around as samples...thats what I'm goin to do is purchase the bag for the first time...I've been using individual packets for myself and buy the packets for when I make shakeology bags to pass around...filled with the shakeology cup...business card...the book and so forth
