Where is everybody?!? Come on folks, post up. We're all good guys in here, we won't bite.

Asylum Day 29 - Speed & Agility

Man, I felt great after that Relief day yesterday.

Time to change the oil on my truck, then it's over to my neighbor's house to do brakes and the heater core on his Mustang. It's going to be a nightmare for the heater core. You gotta pull the entire dash and evacuate/disconnect the AC to access it. If he wasn't such an awesome neighbor I'd tell him to take it to a mechanic, but it's about $1500 for them to replace a $30 heater core.

If I'm not working in the garage until the wee hours, I'm seriously considering hitting up a RevAbs workout tonight to see if Brett's "James Brown" impersonation is less annoying if you are busy working out.

I hope the urge to do 2-a-days isn't habit-forming. I don't have the time. emoticon

Oh Crap, another 2-a-day. emoticon

I decided to give RevAbs another shot to see if James Brown's grunting was more bearable when I was busy doing the moves. Surprisingly, it is. He does recite some RevAbs mantra between every circuit though which is a little over the top in the goofy department.

I did Fat-burning Abs, which was 40 min of ab work. I definitely know that my abs are there right now. I wasn't too thrilled to see mountain climbers in there after doing Speed and Agility with all those mountain climber progressions and ab progressions.

I think I might just have to start doing 2-a-days on days I'm rained out of work and weekends when I'm not super busy. Might just throw RevAb workouts in for my 2nd workout of those days on my P90x/Asylum starting Nov 7.

I hope you guys aren't out Trick-or-Treating and gorging yourselves on Fun-sized Snickers since I seem to be in here all by myself today.

Save your jealousy until I do it with a 24lb weighted vest, you psycho. Don't try to shift the group maniac reputation over onto me. You earned it fair and square emoticon

-Martin

I would like to make a correction, I finished up the bulk phase with a 36 lb. vest emoticon. But since you have done another two-a-day you are officially taking over as the group maniac. I can't compete with two-a-days.

Yesterday was a very hectic day for me, but I did manage to get in the Fountain of Youth Yoga. Felt great to stretch out.

Martin, read on a supplement website yesterday that 1, 3 Dimethylamylamine, the main product in C4 (the old version that you probably have) and Jacked3d has been banned by the FDA and will be out of all products by December. I looked at the Cellucor website yesterday and they no longer have that product in C4. Apparently from what I could tell, it had adverse effects on your man parts. You might want to look into a newer version of the preworkouts to get one without that in it.

Well, that's a nice piece of info to look into. I really prefer not to have adverse man-part effects.

The search continues, I suppose.

Last night was a rough night of sleep, so hopefully I can finish out Asylum strong today. Probably get on it in an hour or so.

Bob, you have some sources I can look at?

My C4 doesn't have it on the ingredient list, but my Jack3d does. I'm not finding anything recent about a ban besides gossip, and there is nothing listed on the FDA page.

It does appear to be banned by WADA because it tests false-positives for performance enhancers.

According to USP Labs webpage, they aren't changing their formula and stand behind the safety of their product. Apparently, C4 changed their formula only because of all the negative gossip surrounding 1,3-Dimeth.

Either way, the only diff I can see between the effects of my non-1,3 C4 and the 1,3 containing Jack3d is that the Jack3d works better for weights, and C4 worked better for cardio. C4 gives me heartburn sometimes though.

I've noticed no adverse effects on Jim and the twins. Problems in that region = immediate boycott of product.

Asylum - Day 30 - GameDay + OT

DONE!!!

Man, I am beat. That was a heck of a workout to close Asylum out on. Now for an awesome recovery week and a break from the craziness.

It looks like Day 60 of Insanity got squished a bit making me look bulkier. I had some pretty awesome progress in killing some fat during Asylum.

Measurements show a drop of ~8lbs and ~3% BF in 30 days. I'm melting. emoticon

Ok, I couldn't help it. I had to see how hard the "hardest" workout in RevAbs was. It's called Power Intervals 2.

It was tough, but it would be more like P90X plyo level tough if I was fresh. After doing GameDay + OT 5hrs earlier today, it was a bear.

That's it except for stretching for me until next Monday, I swear.

HR monitor claims I burned just shy of 2000 cal today, which I can believe. I shoveled down a big sweet potato, 9oz of salmon and a fist-sized apple about an hour ago, and I'm already hungry again. The furnace is definitely hot. Time for a protein shake and some yogurt to feed the fire.

Back on the road for me next week to hang off a steep hillside again.

Steve better be stepping up for some daily workout updates with both Bob and myself going into a recovery week. I don't care if it's just "I ran 2 miles," and only takes 30 seconds to post. Give us something.

I'll quit harassing you when you get back on the game, or I give up on you. emoticon

You have officially taken over as this thread's workout maniac. What is that, three days in a row of two-a-days. I'm exhausted just thinking about it emoticon.

Happy Halloween everyone out there. Make sure you don't mow down on snickers and paydays today. Maybe just one......

Today was Stretch X for me in my first day of recovery week. Always feels good to just stretch a little bit.

Probably felt awesome to not have a two-a-day emoticon.

Today was Core Synergistics for me. I was excited for this workout because it is one of my favorites, but I just couldn't get myself going this morning. I think I have slowly become immune to the C4 and will probably take a month off from using it (which makes sense, because from what I read on C4 you should do two months on, one month off).

Ready for some candy that my son scored last night........just kidding....just kidding.

You should do Core Syn and Back to Core back to back. That would be fun. emoticon

Nothing to report other than me be stretchier today.

I just joined today and am glad I found this message board. It will be a great help to me having to be accountable in my eating and exercise program.
As far as today, I ate healthy foods all day.
Messed up with my schedule. Planned on eating at set times so I wouldn't get too hungry.
Will do my P90X In-Home Boot Camp as soon as I log off.
Best to all

Glad to have you on board. We definitely will keep you motivated and going. We tend to let you know if you are slacking off and haven't posted in a while emoticon.

Today was Fountain of Youth Yoga for me. I am still loving this yoga workout. Done in 45 minutes and I still feel like I get everything out of it I need.

Thanks much for the welcome message. Got up early to exercise - but was interrupted. So I will start over and do it now emoticon Ate healthy today. I packed my meals and snacks into a cooler - so pleased about that because when I'm on the road all day, I usually snack on junk food. Grilled some chicken for tomorrow, yum emoticon
I'm off for a walk.
Best to all

STEVE.........WHERE ARE YOU?????

Today was Recovery 4 Results from the One on One Volume 1 series. This workout was only about 40 minutes long, but it covered stretching, yoga, resistance exercises and some cardio. Great workout for a recovery week.

Morning all -
This morning - I feel stiff, like wood. Started my workout with two warmups just to get everything moving again. Did the P90 Sculpting. Did extra stretching at the end too.
Bob, your workout sounds pretty good; cardio, resistance, yoga and stretching. Sounds like a well rounded program.
Have a great day
Best to all
