I started 2011 at 316 pounds on a weak, painful body. So far I have lost 55 pounds, but I have so far to go. I know I can reach my goal in 2012. It's a long road, and I will need buddies. Who will join me?

Hey there! I started 2011 at 308, and I'm only down to 296...definitely not where I want to be, but I am totally on board for this journey! I just finished putting together my workout calendar from now until March 18th where I will have AWESOME results from my TF/CE hybrid, eating well, and drinking my Shake-o!! What program(s) are you using right now?

So far I have used Slim in 6, Turbo Jam, Brazil Butt Lift, and ChaLEAN Extreme. I had to stop CEX after Thanksgiving because of a back problem, and am just now getting back into working out the way I like. Since I am starting Power 90 in a challenge in January, I am just doing random workouts (whatever I may be in the mood for) each day until then. Lately I've done a lot of Turbo Jam, since it's my favorite. I have plans to do CEX again sometime in 2012. My Shakeology has been shipped, and should be here later this week! So excited to get started on it!

Can't wait to hear about your experience with Turbo Fire! I am working my way up to it, and one of my goals for 2012 is to complete it, so hearing another big girl's story about it will be awesome!

Wow, I can't imagine what kind of pain that must have caused you. I admire your determination. Glad to have you along on this journey! We are going to hit 2012 out of the park!

You will LOVE Shakeology! It's so good that it's hard to believe it's good for you! I love chocolate, and it's one of my biggest downfalls. Shake-o really helps me beat those cravings. I've tried Greenberry a bazillion times, and I just can't seem to find a recipe that I like. I'm really anxious for the new tropical flavor to come out! You'll have to let me know what you think. I have some great recipes if you want them! As for workouts, I've been mainly doing CE since I started with TBB back in July. I got TF from a friend (also a coach) who couldn't do it due to her back. I have to modify, but it's a great workout, especially the HIIT workouts! Looking forward to our journey together!

Hi Sherry! Thanks for the info! We'll get there, as long as we stick to our guns and know every day that we are worth the fight. Every day I will prove to myself that I'm worth it!

yeah, a friend of mine let me try her Greenberry several different ways. I just couldn't fall in love with it. I'm really excited about the tropical, too! I would love to try your recipes! Thanks!

Today was a pretty good day nutrition wise. Stayed in my calorie range, had good meals. My snacks could have been a little better (I had some cordial cherries. gulp), but overall I still consider today a decent day. Working out after I put the kids to bed tonight. Haven't decided yet what I want to do. I miss working with weights, so I may do a CEX. What about you guys? How was your day?

Morning Everyone (0700 here on the West coast) -
I'm starting with Power 90 and walking. I also have the P90 Master Series and the Turbo Jam cd's. But right now, I am P90 focused. This will be the 3rd time I have started P90.

For nutrition, to begin I am doing Weight Watchers - it's easy to follow. Lean meats, fruits, vegetables. After a while, I know I want to learn all I can about the protein/carbs/fat ratio....right now, I am focused on changing my eating habits. Weight Watchers did it before, WW can do it now. I just need to follow up and control the emotional eating if/when something goes off the rails.

My first obstacle - 15 nights in Mexico during March. I doubt Tony will mind if I take him to Puerto Vallarta with me.

I've been thinking a lot about this. I have focused on what I have done right, as well as what I did wrong. I considered why I wanted to lose weight in the past, as well as why I want to lose weight now. This time - it's different.

What about everyone else? Does losing weight "this time" have a purpose, or am I overthinking this?

I think it's healthy to take a long hard look at ourselves and decide why our past successes haven't lasted. We need to know what makes us tick, what makes us fail, and what we can do about it. I think it's awesome that you have gotten to the point that 15 nights in Mexico will include your workouts, showing that you are moving toward a LIFESTYLE change as opposed to a temporary diet. You're determined that this time is different, and because your habits back that up, you will prove yourself right! I'm so excited to have you along on this journey with us! We're gonna rock this!

I've had a good day. Got in my fruits and veggies, hit my water goal, and stayed in my calorie range. As soon as I get the other kid into the tub it's Turbo Jam time!
How about you guys? How did you do today?

I work a front desk, with not too much support there that I trust far enough when it comes to "such & so just happened. Where's the CHOCOLATE!!!" So it's learning alternative coping methods, when I can't just take 10 minutes RIGHT NOW to go blow off steam. (if you wanna develop a chocolate flavored chewing gum, I'd beta test it!) As far as overthinking it, I tend to go into "paralysis of analysis", then once I get moving it's Lets. Get. This. DONE! That being said, I'm focused this last trip - LAST final done-with-the-merrygoround - more on things I never really did before - which is the nutrition. Due to what may be side effects, I'm giving myself a break from the Shakeology this week, and using the Meal Planner to sub out meals & stay within the nutrition guidelines. It's educating! I'm having to meet calories, calcium, protein, etc, without being able to lean on a supplement, learning what's nutrient dense with what I need it to be.

I will. I'm at 315, maybe even 316. Congrats on the 55 lbs. I've just begun and anything will be an improvement. You're right, it's a long road and I hope to stay on it. Can I be a buddy, please?! emoticon I'll need the support and motivation too. Hopefully i'll be able to provide some as well.

Absolutely! The road to weight loss and health is an emotional one, so we all need all the buddies we can get! Glad to have you along emoticon

It is definitely a challenge, but the meal planner will really help. Also look at Michi's ladder. I love that! And holy cow on the chocolate thing! lol My office is covered in chocolate (I share a big office with 6 other people). It is a daily struggle to turn away from it when I get frazzled. I'm getting better, but I wonder if it will ever be EASY.

HipHop Abs. For my weight it seems okay, but i'd like to see what others are saying. When i say for my weight, i mean basically low impact. I cannot be bouncing all over the place unless i want to hurt myself emoticon. Since i don't get very far into it, i don't have to do a lot of hopping around. How do you like Turbo Jam? How long were you able to go through your program on your first few days, and comparatively, how long can you work out now? I'm afraid i'll burn out by not being able to keep up with it. I used to really love dancing, but, of course, now it's a chore....makes me breathless... I also received the one month of Shakeology. I have tried it a couple times. the taste is good. Thanks for your response.
