Here are a few tips to get you going:

Nutrition
• If you want to see great results, you have to focus on your nutrition as much as the workouts. Nutrition plays a key role in how you will reach your goals and attain the new and better you! Be prepared by getting a solid nutrition plan in place prior to starting. You can do this week-to-week or even plan out your entire month. Over time you will learn new eating habits that you can carry with you for the rest of your life.

• Shakeology is a great way to meet all of your nutritional needs! As a meal or a snack it fuels your body with everything it needs in order to BRING IT everyday!

Track your progress
Where are you now? Where do you want to be? Have Goals!
• Nothing is more important or motivating than to see where you started and how you are progressing along the way! It is so CRUCIAL that you do the following BEFORE you begin:
• Take your Measurements
• Take your before & after pictures
• Take the fit test

Utilize the tools that TBB provides.
Complete your profile, and track your measurements and weight online. I use MyFitnessPal online to track my food diary as well as my calories burned each day. I would highly recommend signing up and add me as a buddy. My id is cbove21. MFP also has apps for iPhone, Andriod, and Blackberry.

Pre-Workout

• These workouts are intense! The right fuel will help your body “Bring It!” with the intensity you need! If you eat a pre-workout meal, is very important to wait about an hour before you work out. Shakeology is an excellent means of getting nutrition and fill your tank before a good workout! Furthermore, it tastes awesome and it's an excellent source of nutrients for your body.

Post Workout
One of the most important part of any exercise routine is a recovery drink. The recovery drink immediately after your workout will significantly decrease the amount of soreness you will experience while recovering from your workouts. Plus, it replaces vital nutrients that you burned during your workout and prevents muscle damage. The P90X Recovery Drink is a very good product of which I highly recommend.

Accountability
Don't forget to post your updates (progress, weaknesses, strengths, ask questions, be engaged with the other members) to the thread daily. It is a great way to share your successes with others and get the well-deserved encouragement you required to complete the program. I want you to stay accountable and most importantly, MOTIVATED!

The message boards and forums are a great way to meet others that are going through exactly what you are and it helps stay accountable and motivated! Your forum buddies will have tips and information that has helped them and could help you as well. You will be doing the same in no time!

So are you finding the X2 workouts to your liking?

I thought the 1st two were fine but for me the X2 Recovery and Mobility were a bit of a waste. I think it might be because I could not find any problem areas that needed to be stretched out and worked on. I might skip it next time and just take the day for rest.

I liked the ones I have done so far- Core, Yoga, Total Body and ARX2. I haven't done plyo yet due to my knee. Total body is my favorite at this time.

Hey there! I love the accountability thread!! Nicely done.

I am on Day 4 of TurboFire and loving it... so much fun and completely different from P90X and 10-min Trainer. Chalene is just different from Tony, but I am enjoying the change. Many of the moves are easier because Tony teaches such great form.

My eating has been clean and I log my food and workouts into myfitnesspal. I'm seeing a difference in my body... not too much with weight but I know it's coming off. The Shakeology is AWESOME and I'm finding the cravings for junk food have diminished and am more easily satisfied with less. Not only that, but I am seeing quite a difference in my energy. I got home late last night from a long day of work, hair appt and picking up groceries... found myself working out at 9:00, eating subway (all good and accounted for), soaking in a hot tub and crashing.

Tonight won't be that way. YAY!

I'll be checking in regularly,

I have been slacking a little lately in nutrition and workouts.

I am starting a 60 day INSANITY/P90X plan today and then hopefully
moving over to P90X2 afterwards.

I have done both in the past and was ready to start P90X2 this week
but decided I wanted to get a good foundation back beforehand.

Great looking thread so far coach Christina!!

Folks you ar about to get your game turned up here. Christina is an excellent coach for your fitness needs. She is very detailed and on top of her game so that she can be the best leader for you. She is a hard worker and is very educated on what it takes to be successful. I've had the pleasure to be a part of the threads that she has been involved with for ayear now and you couldn't ask fr a better place to start your year off right.

Keep up the hard work and in a short few months, you'll be blown away by your results.

1/6 - Cardio Power and Resistance

Lot better than yesterday - which was my first INSANITY workout in a couple of months.

Walked a mile after the workout at 3.5 MPH.


It looks like I'm going to be in about 300 calories under my goal today so I will have to make some adjustments going forward. I'm right at my goal on carbs so I will have to find something with few carbs and low sodium.

Probably going to start using Shakeology as a snack instead of a meal replacement.
(I will start mixing with milk only. Right now I add Natural PB and blueberries)

@jayalan: Great job getting out at lunch and pushing play on Insanity! I really like Cardio & Resistance. I really like Shakeology as both a snack and a meal. Just make sure you are getting in enough calories as that can inpact your workouts and therefore your overall results.

I had a good run yesterday- countdown 8 days to the 1/2 marathon. My knee/IT band was not as tender (yay, PT!). It may not be pretty, but I WILL complete my first 1/2 marathon. emoticon

Today is BeachBody Super Saturday where us Coaches get together to learn from one another as well as get the inside scoop of what is coming up for Beachbody (new programs, products). I am Super Excited! We are also doing a PUMP workout. I have wanted to try this NEW workot program so looking forward to it and burning some major calories.

I'll keep you posted!!
