Come join me and lets "Dig Deep" and "BRING IT!" together!!

With the summer around the corner now is the time to get ready to see the family and friends!

In the first two rounds of P90X and my last round of INSANITY I found that there are four keys things that you need:

• Motivation (Most Important)
• Goals
• Nutrition
• Workouts

Motivation

This is the most important of the Four. Without motivation any workout even walking around the block is extremely hard. This is where I and other people that form our team come in. When you follow this thread I dedicate following you to make sure that you are working out.

Homebirthmama:

I am so thankful that Coach Greg "adopted" me from the boards. He always quick to reply to board posts, sent me messages of encouragements (or "where are you" emails), and he checked in on my blog and twitter. Over and beyond the call of duty.

I wasn't sure what benefit I'd get of having an e-coach, but I was proven wrong, his encouragement really helped me along the way. I finished P90X and started Chalean Extreme today.

I can do the same for you!! I can't wait to get started so send me a buddy request and and get ready to BRING IT!!!

Make sure that you subscribe to this thread!!! By subscribing you will be able to find your way back easier to post your daily activity and follow other on the thread. So how do you subscribe? 1. Hit reply to this this or any of the posts and make a comment, tell us your goals or just tell us how the weather is in your part of the world and click save. 2. Scroll up to the top of the thread and their should now be a button that says subscribe. Follow the directions and you are good to go!

Check back daily as I will have post about Goals, Nutrition and the dreaded P90X workouts as we get ready to start on the 30th!!!

Coach Greg:

I'm so thankful to be able to continue to be on your Team Beachbody team! emoticon Your encouragement and motivation, and that of others on our team's thread have been so helpful to me in my first round of P90X (which I began October 1, 2011 and finished on time) and into Round 2 - P90X/Insanity hybrid. I've lost weight (21 pounds so far emoticon ), but, more importantly, have gained in strength, flexibility, and endurance.

With your knowledge/experience and personality, you have been able to inspire, motivate, and coach people no matter what program they are following. And, I feel like I am blessed to be the member of a very cohesive team, even though many of my teammates are following other programs and come from different backgrounds and geographical locations. We have one thing in common - the desire to BRING IT!!

I look forward to continuing to give and receive motivation and encouragement on this thread. Our old one was getting pretty long!

As always, KPP, Coach and everyone else who joins us here,

Amy

(For new people: the nickname "Lawgirl" is because I'm lawyer, but don't hold that against me emoticon ).

I'm in!!!

Coach Greg- Congrats again on your Insanity round! I love to hear your daily words of encouragement. Being part of a great thread helps keep me accountable to what I want to do! As Amy has stated, it's great that no matter what program you are doing- it feels like we are one team!

Tomorrow starts week 3 of P90X/Insanity... it's going by so fast!!!

This is to all the newbies that are thinking of joining a thread. I have been paticipating on a thread with coach since October 2011 and it has been very motivational for me. The thread really helped me push everyday and When I have one of those lazy thoughts of sleeping in, I keep thinking what would I have to say to the gang on thread..I don't want to make up an excuse....it helped me push myself.

I am very happy to join your team on this site coach and I am looking forward to full accountability again. As you guys recall I had a rough transition over the christmas holidays and I got restarted on Jan 09, I had a perfect week that week than I stopped last week as I was away on business travel and I had couple of interviews for a new job...so it has been very stressful for me.

I have restarted today and I am going to start counting today as day 01 for round 2 of P90X. It sounds like lots of you guys are doing P90X2 so I will keep reading your posts for motivation and to learn what I will have to phase later on this year.

CoachG, thanks for starting another thread to keep us all motivated and a forum so people can ask questions and get answers from ones who have been there and done it.

I am a week in with my second round of P90X. There is absolutely no way I would have finished round one without your encouragement and a place for me to be accountable. This round I am going to try and be better with my nutrition side of the program.

Just try and keep me away from this thread emoticon

To everyone from the previous thread, hello! *waves*

To everyone thinking of joining, this thread is a huge motivator and it keeps you accountable. I first started trying with p90x back in May of 2011. I found out that I was really good at starting and getting about 3 weeks into the program, and somehow tapering off and stopping. I tried insanity and did the same thing. I did this several times for each program. After hearing a friend talk about how she uses teambeachbody.com, and how her coach keeps her in line, I decided to join. I happened upon this thread, and Coach G immediately took me in and gave me some starting advice. I started posting and and I'm currently on day 57 and haven't missed a workout yet. Everyone in this thread is motivational and full of knowledge. Join our community, and we can all grow together and celebrate each others successes.

CoachG, thanks for starting a new thread and all the hard work you do to keep us all motivated and informed when we have question. Finishing my 2nd round of p90x and your thread was great to be in. With all the people in the thread sharing tips and regular life things was a real joy for me to read. I know i really did not have much to say but i read and used all the advice from everyone on the thread and appreciate you all for getting me through my round. So anyone new started you have found the right man to help you get to where you want to be..

CoachG I am in!!!

I started my first round of P90X last May. I stumbled across CoachG's first thread, and after reading it for a few days decided to post. Never thought posting to a thread would amount to much. But for anyone out there that is on the fence, posting here will help tremendously. Not only will it keep you accountable. This entire group is interested in helping you succeed. I am not even on CoachG's official team, but he has offered advice and assistance when needed through 3 rounds, and now in the early stages of a 4th round of Beach Body workouts. P90X Classic, P90X/Insanity Hybrid, Asylum and now X2.

Hello! I was on Coach's previous thread and LOVED IT! I started P90X last March and did it for over 10 months. I am currently in my first round of P90X2 in week 1 of phase 2. My husband just restared P90X (he has not done a complete round) and I am doing "doubles" most days to be supportive as he likes to work out with someone. He is in week 2 of Classic P90X.

Yesterday was Chest, Back & Balance; X2 Ab Ripper (make up from last week) & Kenpo.
This morning was Plyocide & X2 AB Ripper and tonight will be Chest & Back.

Yesterday I came in 509 calories low, but was not hungry so I left it at that. I find with doubles that I cannot keep up even eating as much as I want because I eat very healthy. I know! My first time through P90X I wanted to smack people who said that! Can't blame you! emoticon I am down near my goal weight and I am now trying to convert those last couple pounds from fat to firm (muscle). My goal is 6 pack abs by summer.

I will be glad when spring/summer are here because I really love to rollerblade and that is always a lovely second workout to support additional calories and have fun with the kids!

Welcome to committment folks! Don't "try" a Beach Body (TBemoticon program... DO IT! BRING IT!

Hi Coach!

I'll try to get on this thing every day, so I don't lose my way. Great plyo workout this morning and I've kept on top of the nutrition so far today. By the way, I downloaded myfitnesspal to my phone and it's really helped, acting as the little devil on my shoulder. Thnks for that!!

Previewed Shoulders + Arms and Base + Back over lunch. Both quick to preview because. S+ A 3 rounds same exercises. B + B 2 rounds same exercises. Pretty straight forward stuff, so if you do not get the chance to look at them you should be okay on the first workout. But they both look tough

Gretchen Wow - you are a machine. X2 and Classic for your double everyday. I have no doubt that you will have that 6 pack you want by summer

I had planned on starting (again: to the end) p90x this month. I have to take my disks to get them fixed (few scratches that has rendered them unreadable. emoticon ) So my official start date is going to be February 1 (if nothing major happens between now and then. )

Alright! Another great CoachG thread.

I randomly came across CoachG's first thread and he's kept me motivated ever since! I went through a round of P90X and the a hybrid of P90X/Insanity and then another hybrid with P90X/Asylum. CoachG encouraged me all the way through and was able to answer all the questions about nutrition and the different workout routines expertly!

Now I'm doing my first round of P90X2 and would love to come here and contribute to the wonderful motivation we're sure to keep getting!

Today was day 24 for me. I woke up 15 minutes late this morning and got into X2 Ab Ripper right away. I continue to get better at these moves and am back to making it all the way through without breaks. Now I'll have to see if I can sustain that AFTER total body tomorrow. I didn't have as much time as I wanted (to get in Recovery + Mobility), so I did a power half hour of push-ups (300 reps) instead. I will do Recovery and Mobility when I get home tonight.

Food was good yesterday. And should be today as well... I pulled one of the batteries out of my food scale to use in my HRM this morning because our local store didn't have the right batteries. I'll still need to pick some up but this will work in a pinch until I find a local place that sells them.

Day 14 - P90X/Insanity Hybrid - Planned Rest Day. emoticon Oh yeah, I brought it alright. emoticon

I'm so glad I started the program on a Wed, so that Tuesday is my off day. Work is crazy. I have to say I did something a little sneaky that worked incredibly well today food-wise . . . I had a chicken breast for breakfast at work at about 8:30 and wasn't even the tiniest bit hungry until 1:00 p.m., when I got lunch. Who says chicken is just for supper? emoticon

Thanks to those who recommended the Chobani Greek Yogurt. It appears I am hooked. emoticon I had some for a snack this afternoon mixed with fresh blueberries and raspberries. Mmmmmmm.

Brent - I couldn't wave to you this morning because I was getting ready for work. Perhaps tomorrow!

KPP,

Amy

Day 58 down

Chest/Back + Insane Abs

I wasn't TOO sore from yesterday heading into this...I think I may be tomorrow though emoticon Workout went well. My pushups are way up (it's been 5 weeks since I've done this workout). My pull ups are staying about the same, which I'm a little disappointed about, but that just means I have more work to do. Busy night for me, so, back to the races I go. Have a good night everyone!

Thanks for inviting me to the thread. I have tried P90X in the past and made it to my goal weight of 175lbs. Unfortunately not long after that I had to have hernia surgery and was laid up for a lot longer than expected which through off my whole rhythm and I gained back nearly every pound.

Now I'm back and thought for the extra motivation I would join the site and check out the threads. Good luck to everyone on their goals, keep at it and we will all get there!
