First time doing Insanity or any workout like this. Only done one of the workouts at drill once for pt and it was great and made me feel good. Starting up Insanity once it gets to my door step. And I'm ready for the challenge. Will keep posted on my results.

Over n' Out,

Josh,

Thanks for stopping by. I think you're going to love Insanity! Looks like a lot of fun. Pretty sure I'm going to do it as soon as I'm done with current hybrid round of P90X/X+. Although, I have problems with my back and from what I've seen on commercials looks like lots of jumping around. Let me know as you get into it.

Research shows that people who are accountable to a group or workout partner are more successful in achieving health and fitness goals. Consider joining us and post your accountability everyday: did you complete the scheduled workout, effort was hard/easy and how you did with nutrition.

Post any questions you have and I'm sure someone in the group will have the answer.

I'm almost finished with my first month of Power 90 (currently doing the 3/4 level workouts in the morning, with extra cardio in the evenings).

I have Insanity and P90X sitting on my shelf, waiting for the next round. I haven't decided which one I'll hit up first.

Thom,

Welcome. Glad to have you on board. Let us know how you like the chocolate shakeology when you get the sample. I'll post news on the latest flavor later today.

@boaty92 - Thom is doing Insanity. He is thru 1st month already.

Larry,

Thanks for stopping by. I still do Sweat 3/4 now and again. It's a great cardio workout. Consider posting accountability here every day. We will have a number of Power 90 users.

My accountability for yesterday:

Back&Legs, ARX and Couch to 5K workout = 1080 calories burned for yesterday. ARX -did them all with exception of 5 phiepher scissors! Strap to HRM keeps coming apart or slidding down to my waist. Loses my heart beat. I have the strap as tight as it goes. Finally used 2 band aides to keep it in place. What a pain!

Had shakeology for breakfast and Results & Recovery drink after workout #2. I'm doing doubles this round. Nutrition: 2424 calories at 40%carb, 20%fat, 40%protein. Right on target for Phase II P90X.

I used 2/13 as starting date, but reality is some will be in the process of completing current round, some starting and some hitting that reset button because of those "Life Happens" days.

Have a great workout today!

Hey Jim! Looking good and all official. I can always say, "I knew him before he was famous." LOL

Going to do my best to support you here. You know I'm already 30 days into P90X, so I won't be starting with your new team. But I look forward to hearing of your and their success!

Thanks Danny.

Any support is appreciated. Some people will be mid-round, others starting. Wanted to provide a chance for folks to get started or to hit reset if they had one of those 'Life Happens' moments and got thrown off of workout schedule.

Have a great evening!

Nutrition: Good until around 5:30-6:00pm. Let's call it a cheat meal!

Jim,

Thanks for stopping by. Actually, I've seen you a few times recently in the WOWY SuperGym doing the Les Mill Pump. Yet another program to choose from. Looks like it is mostly focused on weight lifting.
