New Tropical shakeology- Is this safe for kids?
Just wondering if kids can consume this new vegan shakeology and/or any of the other flavors?

Shakeology is so nutrient dense that it's a good idea to be a little cautious. If you're going to try it with them, start wit small amounts. You might also want to run it by their pediatrician first.

There is nothing dangerous in there, but of course everyone can be allergic to anything. I give my daughter, who is 2, a dixie cup with some of mine, and both my kids eat shakeology popsicles during the warmer months....never had any problems, and I'm sure they will both enjoy Tropical Strawberry!

This was the topic I was looking for. As a single dad working long hours my kids and I don't always get the healthy meal. trying to change all that with healthier meals and adding Shakeology. My kids are 11 and 8 would I give them regular mix just smaller cup or dilute the mix more? I love the Popsicle idea.

I watched a video where Beachbody CEO Carl Daikeler was talking about having his kid try it. He said she really liked it and drank it all where he usually has to encourage her to finish the other flavors. You may want to check with your doctor and give small portions to start if you're not sure of allergies but I imagine the CEO wouldn't have his own kids drinking it if it wasn't safe. I think of some of the things I ate as a kid processed this, deep fried that, etc. and that kind of food would be a lot worse.

I have 2 seven year old boys and the think the chocolate is like dessert, so I will make a shake with 2 scoops in 2 cups almond milk and then divide it 3 ways evening (1 for myself, 1 for the hubby, and then they share the other serving). I have no qualms doing that and it is definitely better than most school lunches or those awful lunchables their classmates love.
