HI ALL!!!!

my name is holly, i decided to start CLX on march 1st. I have done Turbo Jam and lost about 15 lbs. Got sick had surgery and stopped...then about a month or so ago i start up turbo fire and turbo jam. love both of the programs. but one problem for some apparent reason i have gained weight i mean alot of it. its so weird..i love the feel of the intense cardio so this whole clx thing is going to be very difficult and nerve racking. so is there any advice encouragment anyone who wants to help me stay accountable lol!!! without hounding me to join them as they are my "coach" i have one sorry. is there any good supplements i should look into? i do have shakeology so i have that one down. is there anything else that can help??? because honestly im like super overweight, and i was pretty bummed today when i weighed myself and seen i gained all of the weight. so i decided to cut down my calories and try anouther program. i just hope it works!!! because I am 24 years old and 365 lbs emoticon ugh i hate sayin that...but its true. so all encouragement is welcome. I am however going to finish off febuary with turbofire...HOPEFULLLY!!!! and start fresh on a new program on march 1st

I'll be your buddy!! I'm fairly new to CE too. I am in my third week. One more week of the burn phase then onto the push phase. I to have done TJ and TF. I love them as well but I just wasn't losing the weight. I still have at least 40 pounds to lose so it was frustrating to be stuck at that point. SInce starting CE a few weeks ago I have lost 8 pounds. Follow the meal plan for the first while, it is so helpful. I have started doing other meals for supper because my family was getting bored but I stay within my calorie range. I was hungry the first bit but it passed and now I find I have trouble eating enough! lol also water, this is the first program I have made sure I get my water in. I bought myself a Brita water bottle and love it, I don't leave home without it. I also make sure I snack every couple hours.

even though I love the cardio like TF, I find I am loving the strength training, it is empowering finding out how much I can lift. I have already gone out and bought heavier weights!!

I personally don't do shakeology. My body does not like it! I was using protien powder but am trying not to this week. Oddly enough my weightloss slowed down when I started using it so I'm trying an experiment. Trying to really limit or eliminate sugar and trying to eat natural.

I hope you love CE as I do. But it's Chalene so how can you not haha message me if you need to chat (and no I"m NOT a coach lol)

lol thanks for not being a "coach" lol its a long story. anyway...see i thought about getting one of those brita bottles. because well our water is just nasty here. how are you doing on the burn phase??? im a little nervous to start. but if it works then i guess ill stick to it. i love turbo jam and turbo fire. def intense but i found myself getting hurt (my knees mostly) on turbo fire. due to the fact i just couldnt pivot my feet on carpet. blegh...and turbo jam just freaking awesome loveeee it. and as for shakeology....lets just say i had to add the fiber powder to it. it had a different effect on me than it did my parents. its extremely hard to find time...due to the fact i work 3rd shift. do you have like a set schedule that you stick to? or do u just go with the flow??? also do you use any thing like body bugg??

I'm doing better than I thought on the burn phase. I have a knee problems to so I eliminate a lot of the jumping in the bit of cardio there is. Just make sure you carefully watch your squats and lunges and use proper form. I started out using a knee support while doing the workouts and three weeks later I have now been able to add in some jumps, no knee supports, and no pain!! I am still very cautious but as long as you keep the intensity high, you don't need to jump to get your heart rate up. So far I have lost 2 pounds this week (official weigh in days for me I have set on Monday's) which would make 9 pounds in three weeks, I didn't get near those results with TF. I truly believe muscle burns fat like she says and THAT is what has made the difference!! I also stick to the 1500 cal/day as recommended in the book. I have just now started making recipes that aren't in there but I still watch my calories. Last night was Brazilian fish stew and was SO good!!

I follow the workout schedule as it is in the book strictly. I have not added anything more in yet and won't until I feel ready. I don't want to overdo it. I work and have kids and my work schedule changes a lot. Right now I exercise at 2 pm most weekdays, then get my kids from school, then shower and stuff. I personally am not a morning person and I know getting up early to do a work out does not work. Just do what works for you, time and schedule wise.

as for body bugg, I don't even know what that is lol what is it? I think if you go in with a positive attitude, you will love it. do I sweat? tons! am I sore? so far only a bit some days, nothing I can't handle. SO far I am loving it more than any cardio program I have done.

I did P90X a few years ago but didn't follow it to the "T." I was still struggling with a chronic knee injury and found the kenpo, plyo and even yoga painful at the time. All better now over the past year of cycling to strengthen that knee!

I am starting today! I have shakeology on order. I am trying to lose the last 10-15 pounds of baby weight and just get strong and healthy. Let's all support eachother!!!! Yay!!

Hi Ladies! I'm new to CLX too! Today starts my 3rd week of BURN and I am loving it! emoticon I'm so happy to find others who are new to it as well. I spent much of last year doing 90% cardio and really wanted to add some weights to it. CLX has been the perfect way for me to do that. I have a pretty good support system of friends who exercise daily on FB so it is great to also be able to find people here who are doing the same workout as me! I hope we can encourage each other! I also have a knee issue (previous surgery) and I have been shocked that I am able to do the squats and lunges. I guess it is true that proper form really makes a difference, and Chalene definitely emphasizes the importance of form. I never knew I could do squats with weights and not be suffering. I'm sore, but not 'in pain' if that makes sense. emoticon I am so excited to see what my body can do after 90 days of CLX!!
As Chalene says, "Go heavy or go HOME!" I just love the feeling of empowerment I have after I finish a weight lifting workout!!

Hi Ladies, I too am new to CLX - just on day 4, and my quads are crying!! Squats! LOL I know that they're probably THE most effective exercise of all, if you do them right. Especially if you do them to the EXTREME. I am also doing Turbo Jam. I may have to start getting up in the wee hours to get both workouts in since I work. I am using the "Lose It" app to track my eating and I hope that will make a big difference. I need to lose 77 lbs to get to my goal. Lose It app projects that I can achieve that by mid-November if I keep my calorie count to 1406 a day. Anybody have any advice as to how that calorie level will work with these workouts? I do NOT want to sabotage myself by not eating enough and going into starvation metabolism.

Anyway, I look forward to this "journey" with you all and hope that we're all very successful!

i made a special workout calendar just for CE. I love the feeling of being able to cross it off when i am done with the work out. I even cross off rest days! Today is a rest day for my schedule - one thing i like about CE is we get TWO rest days a week. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. here is a little about me :

43 yrs old
married, kids - daughter is 19, son is 17 1/2! (yes i am counting the half). I can see the light at the end of the high school tunnel!
work full time outside the home at a very stressful job
I do yoga regularly, run half marathons & love to travel

I have done P90x a few years ago and i liked it but the workouts are so long (i did that workout 3 years ago). then i decided on TurboFire and now i am a Chalene Johnson fan for sure! I am even going to her Camp Do More this summer in LA. I read her book Push, which is fantastic and really helped me set my goals and acknowledge my priorities.

Holly - you can loose the weight. You have the desire, now you have support (us) so you will meet your goal. (PS - I am not a coach either and have no desire to be - which looks great for this group so far) Long story - i was a coach but had a super bad experience so i dropped out of it. I totally believe in BB programs and fitness missions - My interest in you and this group is truly success with lbs lost and confidence gained!

aww thanks guys...yea i use to make out a calender as well...when i was doing turbo jam...i was doing sooo good then i got one sickness after anouther. anyway i plan on doin that again. like i said I start CLX on march 1st im very eager to get started. and im happy there are a few on here that arnt coaches because ive had a few bad experiences as well. with ones that just want the business. now im not sayin thats all of them. and i use to be a "coach" as well. anyway. Heres a little about me:


I am 24 never married i am single, no kids. I work full time as a residential specialist at a detox and crisis unit. It is superrrrrrrrr stressful. I work 3rd shift. I have been overweight my whole life. and my dream honestly is to be able to run a 5k without dying lol. i say that because i have asthma.. it pretty much stinks
