I hope I am doing this right! I started on 2/7 so I think I'm right in there with you guys emoticon It was just getting to be too hectic to get to the gym, so since I work from home, I've been able to be uber consistent, even adding on cardio on most days when it doesn't call for it. Struggling some with the nutrition and I know that is a huge key. So far no real weight loss and didn't really measure, but I'm feeling more toned. Love the Hard Core Abs (killer) and hate the Flow (but make myself do it). I also have a hard time on the rest days and sometimes will do a slow walk without my normal incline. Any nutritional tips I will take! Congrats to all on their successes!

hey and welcome! :-) i think we all struggle with the nutrition part of it. a tip that helps me is i remember and i mentaly take myself to that time during my workout where i was struggling the most and i remember the pain and i go "yea i worked too darn hard to mess this up" hehe i do that when im about to make a choice about eating.
but it gets easier and it becomes part of the ruitine i think.

im about to do my thing for the day ill check back in when im done if i can type ...oh yes! its gona feel so good i can feel it.

hello again

boy those lunges!!! they still give me a very good run for my money altho i upped my game 5 more pounds it feels great i was able to keep up. it doesnt get easier you just get stronger and thats true.

i only had abs for today and a walk but i did an actual workout. i deffinitely get it you know i was worried when starting up that this program didnt have enof cardio for me but i actualy get it now, the lifting IS the cardio and i just think thats so awesome all in one.

i hope everyone of u is enjoying this as much as i am and thank u guys for ur suppor i definitely do appreciate it very much.

Kim, that's a great idea about thinking about the workout before putting a morsel in my mouth emoticon And yes...those lunges are KILLER! Glad to be a part of this group and we can all work together to keep on track. Made some chili tonight using ground turkey and turkey sausage so a much healthier alternative. Brown rice and kale chips...yum.

Still reeling from that ab workout - who can honestly do those full on hovers with the arm things and leg lift?!? Still using modifications on that one! But it's a *tiny* bit easier each time I do it.

Thinking that after 2 weeks I may start to up my weights on the leg tracks. I've been keeping at 5 pounds (per side) for all tracks, but gonna think about a bit more for legs.

Interesting question...but how did all of you guys end up ordering Les Mills Body Pump? I happened to be awake at 5:30 AM on a Saturday morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Was watching infomercials and all of a sudden I had the Body Pump kit AND the Cindy Crawford skin care line ordered (oops). I had never even heard of it, but I knew I loved doing Body Pump at the gym, so figured it would be good. I got the Body Pump stuff in like 2 days and started it the day I got it and it made me feel like I was at the gym without having to go to the gym!

I'm a TBB coach so I heard about it in December when it was first released. Didn't think I wanted to do it...it's a bit pricey. HOWEVER...I ordered it in January. Started around the 7th of Feb. So far I love it so much! It's really something I can do for quite awhile. I ordered the separate Cardio DVD's last week. Gotta watch those infomercials! I'm always ordering something! LOL!

Been keeping on track. Been doing the workouts, I just don't post everyday. I won't be getting a break until next weekend. I tweaked the schedule a little because I have drill for the National Guard and will be in the field. So I will get 2 days of rest next week. Ahhhh. In the mean time. I am punishing myself and loving the punishment!

My wife, Susi, cheated and took her measurements before day 30. So far she has lost a total of 14 inches! Yay babe! Proud of you. Keep pushing play everyone! Kia Kaha!

I am also a coach. I heard about it a while back. I was going to order P90X2 but the wife wanted to order this. I caved and we got this. Not disappointed at all though. It is proving to be a great challenge!

I love them. Once winter is over, I will be running more but since the weather is bad for now it gives me great fat/calorie burning options. If it weren't for the fact that I love to run i would use them exclusively!

So on pump and burn what is everyone doing on the weights? For squats I am doing 60 lbs, chest 50 lbs, and back and hamstrings I am doing 46 lbs. For the ab track I am at 15 lbs. ( I just use a dumbbell for that so I don't have to mess with removing weights off the bar.

Wow...you are using a lot of weight. I decided at the beginning that to make sure I stuck with it to keep with the 5 pound weights (one on each end) for now. I have decided that after 2 weeks, I am going to start to up the weights for the leg tracks, but keep at 5 for arms until I can get stronger. Speaking of...42 minutes until the 5 o'clock whistle blows and I can get my workout in! I can't remember what is on tap for today - it's on a piece of paper in another room.

Hi Guys, I am starting week two.

For the extra weight did you buy them or are you using weights from local supplier. I have found the first videos to easy and moved up the 35 to 45 minute videos after one week.

I really don't recommend it. Yes they were easy for me too, but I really think you should do the base program as it is intended. Phase one is considered the foundation phase basically. It is giving you the background and the foundation. It is getting your body ready for the movements it will encounter later. Don't let your ego get the best of you quashaj. Do it as it is intended to be done.

As far as extra weights, you can order them from the TBB Store or you can get some 1 inch weights from the store. your choice.

I'm excited b/c when I did the Pump and Burn last time, I upped the weights to 10 lbs per side for legs. Definitely made a difference and felt that I had worked up to it so it wasn't an unmanageable change. All I can say is that Hard Core Abs is just that. I push it a little bit more each time but that is just once hellacious workout! On my third week today with some Pump and Burn on the calendar for today. Will do the heavier weights again on the leg tracks. Also gonna add in some cardio to watch the rest of "The Biggest Loser" on that treadmill - watched the other half on there yesterday.

hi guys!

im so pumped i just had abs for today but ofcourse i cant do just that :-) well i did pump and burn and it was very hard i underestimated it i guess a bit but i was very very fun.

mcc0118 i did just that i added 10 more and ever since its a whole new ball game

its week 4 and i cant wait to get it going again tomorow!
