My second time around here, finished first round back in July of 2011. Took a long break, pumped and ready for round 2! One key thing that really helped my first time around was a group started by regular people all working towards a common goal. To keep each other accountable, discuss workouts, and to support each other through our daily lives. I would love to start another group as I found it to be a big help. No coaching, just checking in every few days about how we are incorporating p90x into our lifestyle and what problems we are coming across. Posting progress pictures and having feedback is key!

I'm Starting 3/19/12 (anyone starting around the same time is free to join!)

I started the P90X program on March 10th, but maybe I'll add an extra week to phase 1 and pretend that I'll start on March 17th so that I'm more in-tune with a group. I started the program once before, but didn't finish as my DVD player broke and I didn't get a replacement until some months later. I'm looking forward to going all the way this time!

Doesn't matter when you start bud! Love to have more people in the support group! P90x is just that extreme of a workout that even the dvd player gets burnt out! emoticon How is your first week going?

I just finished my favorite workout, Kenpo X and am looking forward to resting up tomorrow. I was very sore along both sides of the chest and under the armpits, and I struggled when trying to reach for anything for awhile, but the soreness of the first few workouts has already passed.

I do want to extend phase 1 by a week anyway, not just because it would line-up with the group start date better. For week 0 (as I'll call it), I started the diet late and wimped out on Yoga X after 45 minutes and Ab Ripper X completely due to soreness. Now that the soreness is subsiding, I think I could do a much better week 1, so: re-do, please!

Hello. I would like to join your group.
I am a coach but not pushy about it.
I'm 47 and am ex-college football player who hasn't done anything in 23 years.
Love the comments about being sore. I'm on wk2 of P90X.
If you push yourself (hard) the soreness really doesn't go away it just becomes more tolerable.
I've been through Insanity and absolutely love this stuff.

thats the beauty of a home workout program....you can tailor it to your needs and fitness levels. I do the insanity warm up before the P90X rotines. I also try to run on the non-weightlifting days. 1 mile right now but I'm 47 and an old fart. hope to build up to 5 miles by day 90. I also try to log my workouts in the super gym but for total accountability I bought a wall calander and recorded my workouts for the next 150 days. It's a big motivator when you see one not X'ed out. I also try to do one Insanity the asylum workout on Kempo days. right now i'm doing either gameday or overtime. Either one will kick your butt!

I will be starting out my P90X/P90X2 Hybrid starting on the 19th and will go for 11 weeks. Depending on the progress, I may add on a few more weeks.

Currently somewhere around 13% BF and would love to get down to about 7-8% by June. I definitely see this as possible.

I am also going to become a coach here in the near future and look forward to that as well. I would love to join this group.

This will be my first time around too and looking forward to the 19th. Just like TonyTown, I'm setting up my stuff over the weekend and will go on with the fit test. Can't wait.

Just out of curiosity, is there a group that we can start or are we just following each other here!

Hey what's up guys?! I just received my package a couple days ago and did the fitness test. After watching the how to bring it video I was worried I had to go borrow some of my moms workout videos haha. I did the fitness test and it didn't go to well. I'm excited though! I've been on the nutrition plan all week and I lost 8 lbs so far emoticon. I'm setting up my workout room and doing some cardio this weekend and I start the videos on Monday. Can't fail if we don't give up!

8lbs already?!? That is unreal! Great job!

I always seem to gain weight before I start to loose. What is that saying? "It will only get worst, before it can get better!" I guess that is gonna apply to all of us once we start the 19th with soreness throughout our bodies, ohhh I can feel it already haha!
