I am Not a coach. BeachBody has created this incredible system to make this so simple and they gave it to us to help other by allowing coaches. Some coaches really do care, while others only care about selling so it’s up to us. This message board thread is for accountability for each other and for yourself.

Serious players and hopeful strugglers only! Only join this thread if you are committed to YOU every day, to post here every day. Whether you do P90 or not, whether you work out daily or not, struggling or not, you just need to show up and post daily. We can only help each other if you are here. So embrace yourself with caring, love, joy and be here. This is the first step. This is the only thing that you need to commit to right now. To start posting good or bad, ups and downs, just daily. We are not here to judge you. I’m sure that you do that enough yourself.

Don’t know what to post? Just put in any motivation, any inspiration or tidbit of information. Don’t feel like talking? Don’t. Just post your workout and the days into your workout. I'm in! I need all the motivation I can get. I decided to start today (this morning emoticon) instead of Saturday- as I had posted Sat. It felt great! (...after the initial pain of course) I'm doing the Lean version. Are you working out in the mornings or at night? I'm doing nights.

**There are many things I want to change about my eating habits but I'm taking one thing at a time. My goal for the week is to REMEMBER not to drink diet coke. I have tried to stop several times but it has become such a bad habit that I recall until I'm already drinking it. I don't dislike water I just don't drink that much so this change I believe will give a positive change to my body.

Well, it's just you and me for now but that's all I need, how about you?

I am probably going to do both morning and/or night. I work at home so I do not usually do regular work hours. I'm going to try to do it when I have the most energy... which will be tonight since I was up early today... after a nap. LOL

I totally agree with taking it slow. I started with Wii boxing but I think that I am ready to step it up to a regular workout. I can't believe that you are going straight to P90X! Good for you! You're young you can do it!

I have the same issue with you and soda. Mine is Cherry Zero Coke. I'm not ready to give it up yet. I just gave up alcohol so that was a big step for me. I was very social.

Dr. Oz says that diet soda makes people want a sugar fix so I try to have water and fruit with it but I have a difficult time sticking to one thing. That's the reason for our new Message Board thread. If we all can stick to posting every day we should able be able to keep each other going, right? I have a difficult time with tap water because I think of the chlorine but I do like bottled spring water and I try to drink at least 2 of those a day too.

Do you work? Is that why you are doing nights? I am delighted that you are here. I am going to try to be here every day. If you need to miss a day that's fine. I will miss you. emoticon

Hey Jill!!!

I know... hopefully more people join along the way. It's great that you have flexibility to choose. I guess I could do mornings MWF but I am too lazy to get up extra early lol so I'm sticking to nights.

But guess what? DAY 2- DONE!! I was sore all day today. I thought I wasn't going to be able to do anything but to my surprise I did it. My only concern is tomorrow. I'll tell you how it goes. The good thing was that I was actually able to start a little earlier!!! --which is great so I won't have to go to bed so late. I'm not trying to be an over achiever with P90x lol I was just too excited one day about losing weight and bought it. I thought...it can't be that hard. - boy was I wrong emoticon but I'm not trying to hurt myself so I am modifying where I need to do it.

Congratulations on giving up alcohol! You are right that's a huge step. As for me , I didn't have any diet soda today. I was tempted at dinner <_< but I was strong enough not to have any- not even a little bit. I used to trick myself into thinking that I would stop little by little so I would eat with a glass of water and then have a sip of the soda. The problem is that then I found myself wanting more and I'm sure you can imagine what happened next lol

But anyway, I hope to hear about your workout soon.

Hi Ale,

Yes, it is nice to be able to pick the time but sometimes it gets in the way. It takes my brain/body about a half an hour to wake up in the morning so I end up on my computer and by the time I have energy I'm often too deep into my work. By the time that I try to make time later I am then too tired. lol

I did not end up working out yesterday. I tried to sleep but I had nightmares about my website design. lol I took something to sleep then slept too long but I am going to do 'P90 Sweat' as soon as I finish writing this. I am still counting it as day 2 since I have been doing some working out these past few weeks. Maybe I should count it as day 0.2 and have day 1 as tomorrow. idk. I'm more concerned about doing the workouts and sticking to them than counting the days or even the type of workout. I really liked it when you said that you cannot wait to see yourself in 90 days so that would be fun. What date would that be? Around the third week of June? Still in time for the most of summer.

Yes, modify! You're starting with a difficult one with P90X but I know that you can do it. I is awesome that you are trying! I have to hit-pause myself but I push through.

That is awesome that you can quit the diet soda.... oh did you quit regular soda too? It is still my vice... for now.

Did you hear about Dr. Oz's 30 in 30? He says to take 30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up. It supposed to help something like reducing appetite and cravings. I've been trying to stick with this. I just ordered a protein drink from VitaCost. Maybe protein would help with your craving. We should name your challenge... maybe something like 'Death to Diet Soda'. lol

I just got my Insanity in the mail and JUST did the fit test..maaaaan! i can only imagine what tomorrow will be like. I am about to go thru this meal planner so that i can do some 'smart' grocery shopping tomorrow.

...that vicious cycle lol I know it perfectly well. I completely agree with you though I believe the important thing is to just make sure you keep working out. I wouldn't worry about the math (0.2) Triple YAY to day one!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your nightmares lol sounds like you are working too much. I hope you sleep better tonight.... and to be honest I haven't counted to see when the 90 days will be done...I guess I am afraid I will be tempted to give up because it sounds far away. I have done that in the past. I prefer to take it one day at a time for now.

I stopped drinking soda a long time ago. I find it toooo sweet now. The problems is that I picked up diet soda lol I'm trying my best but today I have to admit I took one sip from my dad's cup so I wouldn't have my own drink.

So, third day down. I was saying in another thread that I almost didn't work out today but the motivation made me push through! I felt much better after I finished.

....and no I don't know anything about Dr. Oz =/ I remember yesterday I said I was going to look it up but I didn't. I will do that after I finish this post and I like your idea LOL maybe then I will stop drinking diet soda.

Hello everyone, I am new to all of this, I have had P90X for over a year but I am just to out of shape, it scares me. Anyway, I ordered Power 90 to help work up to X and it showed up yesterday. Had my first workout today, went ok I guess for where Iam at as far as fitness goes. Thanks for having this thread,I'm going to try to post here daily to gain accountability hope it's going well for everyone else.

How about TEAM PACT??? Post, Accountability, Commit, Track! Or TEAM GOD; Goal Our Daily Or TEAM DOG; Daily Our Goal. lol I like PACT since you are here now we have it with each other. Kind of interesting that I did not plan that Acronym but it works really well, right?

The PACT? To post every day.... well, 6 days a week. ha I know that for me seeing other people doing this everyday keeps me going... just like you Ale. Knowing that someone else is here and cares enough to post daily.

Hi Team523, I have Insanity and I made it through about 3 days. lol I was not on the Message Boards. I like the meal planner but I do not really cook so it has to be easy. Dp you have any of the other DVDs?

Ale, I am sooo proud that you are hanging in there. I have P90X too. Just go slow. This is why I am starting Power 90 again. I know that if I am going to stick with it, it will be baby steps. You can do it. I know that you can! I've already had 2 cherry zeros today. Should I be telling you that? I will have at least 2 bottles of water too. Maybe I will do 3 waters today, it could help me quit too.... I'm not ready yet. Three days! YeeHaaahhh 4 more days and you will feel stronger. It will be easier. We are here for you. I'm glad that you are here for me too. Did you name your soda challenge? Death to Diet Soda?

Hi Kthunt, Welcome. I'm glad that you have agreed to post daily. It is what will get us all through this. I am like you. I have P90X but I'm just not there yet. That's why I am so proud of Ale. She will do better than us if she hangs in there. Insanity is even harder but they are younger than us so we should be about even. lol Did you start with Sculpt? That is the one that I am doing today.

What are your names?

DAY 2 - SCULPT Done! light weights and lower reps. I did my last set of push-ups on the wall but I did it. lol

Oh the nightmare was from giving my developer a design sampling for the site for the 'home page' but when I logged on it seemed to be on every page and their design was too simple. When I saw it I thought that they were just working through the colors so I wasn't concerned but when I was sleeping it occurred to me that they really were using the 'home page' on every page. I wanted to sleep because they are on India time and is about 10 hours before us but I couldn't. I was concerned that the designer might have written over the coding that we just spent the past several months developing.

Hi everyone,

Day four done! I did Yoga but I stopped it half way thorugh and did Hip Hop Abs. I got frustrated but I still wanted to work out. Today, I only have 5 mins to make a post. I have work to do =/ I'm glad to see more people joining in. This has really helped me and that is why I am taking the time to make a post.

Jill, you are doing great!!! At least it was only the last set on the wall. I do all mine on the wall lol. I have no strength in my arms =/ Anyway feeling accomplished =). Hope everyone has a great night.

Hey everyone,

Second day was pretty rough, did sweat and I am in bad shape as far as cardio goes. Wasn't able to keep upat all. Oh well, gotta get better, looking forward to when it becomes easier. Ab ripper is also pretty rough. I have done ab ripper X with my kid so I expected to struggle, no surpises there. I've let myself get way out of shape, excited about changing that though.
Hope everyone had good workouts today and good days in general, talk to you tomorrow

Wow, it was difficult today. For the running and jumping I had to hit pause after almost every segment. lol

Ale, that is great that you did a workout. It doesn't matter what you do as long as you're doing something. Take is slow. How is the Death to Diet Soda challenge going?

There are push-ups every day. That's not cool. I've heard recently that they are not healthy for women. I do not know if it is true or not.

Kevin, did you make it though day 3? It seems like my body wasn't rested but once I warmed up it was better. Don't give up.

Towards the end I was doing it mindlessly so I just thought about how much better my life will be when I am healthier again.

Well, I hope that you guys made it. It's not easy. Keep posting whether you do or not so that we can help you stick with it.

Hello!!

Day 5- Done!! Today I did Legs & Back. It wasn't easy but this is my favorite workout so far emoticon I did not do pull ups so I tried doing push ups. I was a bit scared at the beginning when I saw the workout was 58 minutes lol but I made it.

Jill, great job on day 3!!! Death to Diet Soda didn't go so well today emoticon I had some for dinner. I am drinking more water though so that's exciting. Oh and where did you hear that about push ups?? emoticon

Oh and guess what? I changed my coach. She's really active on the boards and gives great feedback. I'll let you know how it goes.

Kevin, the great thing is that it can only get better as time goes by!!! just keep doing it!! Can't wait to hear about today's workout.

hello everyone, didn't post yeserday but did work out. I like sculpt a lot more than sweat.
Just finished sweat for today, it went better than before I guess. I was also sore when I started, but as I went along seemed to be getting the kinks out. Hope all is going well for everyone.

Hi TEAM PACT!!!

DAY 4 - SCULPT Done! 86 more to go. lol I like Tony's count down so I am trying it here. It was a late one for me today and I would have skipped it if it was not for you guys.

I'm like you Kevin once I'm warmed up it is easier and hitting play is the most difficult part. ha I like sculpt but it plants my face in the floor and bending a little too much. I like weightlifting but not that way. My favorite part is the Tae Bo in Sweat. I cannot remember where I heard that push-ups are bad for women, probably on Dr. Oz. I'm trying to remember why. I think that it was something about the glands or hanging skin. Tony instructs the girl in the Sculpt video to move her hands in and elbows back and she could not do them with here elbows in. I can't do them with my elbows in either. I wonder if that has something to do with it. I did the last set on the wall again. ha

It might be a little soon for you to do the pull-ups, Ale. I do not even have my bar assembled yet. 58 minutes is awesome! You go girl!

Good news about your coach. It is great that she is active. My coach is awesome and on every week but not everyday and I think that I/we need that... for awhile anyway.

Well, hopefully I will be here early tomorrow.
