Hey all,

I'm trying to put together an accountability group Insanity starting this Monday! I know it's VERY last minute, but me and a friend are beginning Insanity on Monday and I know how well that these type of groups do. I just finished 90 days of p90x a little bit ago with an accountability group and ALL of us had great results. The next day, I ordered Insanity because I wanted to keep going.

So if you're interested, message me! If you just started a week ago, no big deal. We're there for support, plus schedules changed when people have to swap a workout around, so there's no issue there.

Who this group is perfect for:
- People who have been wanting to get back into Insanity, but haven't had the motivation
- People who are trying Insanity for the FIRST time (like myself)

I know this is very last minute, but hey - life happens on a whim. Let's get it started right. Limited spots are available, as these groups usually work best with a small amount of people so you can get to know each other. It does require a Facebook account because that's how we'll connect, chat about workouts, ask questions, and eventually, congratulate people on results!

Like I said, I just finished p90x. I lost 25 lbs and gained some noticable muscle, but I want to keep going. As the guy that is putting a group together, if you're looking for Johnny Six-Pack abs that has a Masters Degree in nutrition and fitness, that's unfortunately not me... (yet?? ;)) But if you think you could benefit from the experiences and motivation from another first timer, definitely consider joining!

I am planning to start INSANITY on the 17th, I won't be able to start before then, BUT I'd love to be in touch with some other ppl starting close to the same time as I am.

I am a FIRST TIMER myself, I've played around with "hip hop abs" many years ago but haven't done any DVD workout programs before.

I have done a 6 week boot camp (only 3x a week) which did have noticeable results for me, and I've been working out with a personal trainer since February, but not INSANE ha ha.

I'll be traveling to Italy until June 10th so I wanted to bring the INSANITY with me, since I won't have my gym or PT. I thought the timing was perfect as I'm gone nearly 2 months. I'm starting about a week before I leave and I'll keep it up through til the end of June. There will be travel days I may not have the opportunity to work out, but hopefully a missed day here and there doesn't have too dramatic of an effect!

I would love to be apart of this group. I actually started insanity on Wednesday so I'm only 2 days in.
I'm doing it with two of my friends but this is pretty much my first time on team beachbody so I would like to get motivation from people here as well I do have a facebook account. I have made my own calander to hang on the window I plan to do Monday through Friday (I'll end this program the second week of June) and on the weekend we plan to do yoga x from p90x for a change of pace and relaxation anyways hope to hear from you soon emoticon

Sounds great! Consider yourself in. Sounds like you've been working pretty hard between a personal trainer and boot camp. Insanity should also be the perfect workout to fight against all that good Italian food you'll come across. emoticon

How have the first two days been so far?? I'm pretty excited for Monday to find out. I like your idea of Yoga X on the weekends, but getting through that was never relaxing for me.. more like hell on earth trying to keep up with Tony. emoticon

So far they have been hard at times I just did pure cardio and oh god that was the hardest out of all of them but it helps having two friends there doing it with me to keep each other to keep going. Shaun T does tell you in pure cardio to take water breaks it was insane. I felt sore and tired as I was cooling down but once I was finally cool and back at my at rest heart beat I felt great (and I'm the one who's the most out of shape of my friends but kept going) it's hard but I love the challenge. I will say your calves will be screaming hah that's really the only thing that's sore for me here so far but well see as it goes on. I've been doing the yoga x for a year once a week mostly so I've kinda gotten used to it but it's still hard yet I'm relaxed? I can't wait for the group emoticon) just thought I'd give a quick reply

I did a boot camp a couple of years ago, I haven't been active as of late until I booked in with a personal trainer but he spent the first month doing foundation training with me (Basically stretching, gentle strength training to improve posture and help strengthen my knees etc) and only the past 2 weeks he's really come down hard on me.

I've already watched the intro video and I also looked at the fit test to see what I was getting myself into... I have to go buy cross trainers!

Fed Ex shipping says my Insanity program arrives...today, Saturday 7th April. That gives me two days to review it, take photos / measurements (I want that "I earned it shirt") and get ready and start on Monday. So I am IN. At 51 years old, I suspect I am not the youngest member of the team, so I will probably bring up the rear but I will try to keep up. :-)

Wow, what a turn out! I'm glad everyone is so pumped to begin. It looks like we've got a wide variety of people, which is awesome. We're covering all age groups, male and female!

Here's what I need you guys to do; either email me or send me a Beachbody message (whichever is easier) with your name and email address so I can set you up in the Facebook group. That's where the majority of our posts will go, but I'm thinking I'll periodically post back here so the rest of Beachbody can hear about our performance!

Everyone that's posted so far is more than welcome to join. I'm surprised the group filled up so fast! If more people want to join, I can always make a second group. I know that I wouldn't have been able to get through p90x the way I did without a handful of people going through the same troubles that I was, so anything I can do to help other people reach their goals is worth it.

For those beginning soon, rest up! For those that are already in it, keep bringing it!

Is anyone here going to do the Beachbody Fitness Test (as described on your dashboard, under "goals") as part of this group program? It's not the regular Insanity Fit Test that I think we take throughout the program, but it's still a benchmark of sorts. I will do that during this weekend as part of my preparation as it might just give my body some notice of what's to come for the next 60 days. I don't think I'll be breaking any records for my starting performance, but hopefully I can at least complete it standing up!

I'm starting the big "I" as soon as my DVDs gets here - probably 4/12 - 4/14...i've been doing P90X, X2 and some hybrid stuff since last April2011, so I'm ready to see what Shaun T is all about!

It's a good idea. The more things you do at first, the better because you can more clearly see your progress and results. What's most important is taking those Day 1 pictures. It's so hard to see results the first 3-4 weeks without them, but your body is transforming throughout the process. I'm doing my fit test for Insanity tomorrow - then Monday the journey begins!
