HELP!! I really want a coach that went through what I am going to do
Showing 14 results.
I really would like a coach that kinda went through the same ordeals I'm having to go through, mine I don't even know if she's still even active anymore, but besides that her before and after pictures were not even that bad she didn't need to lose alot of weight.
Anyways I would like to have a coach that I can be more comfortable with that actually went through the things I need to go through
Or even some friends going on the sane journey as me emoticon
I don't need any negative comments
With that being said
I have been overweight pretty much my whole life and am just now actually WANTING to change my health for the better and become more fit.
I'm starting off around 250lbs and my goal is to be in the 140-120 range since that seems to be the healthy weight range for my 5'2 height.
I'm 19 and in college so I do actually have the time now to workout, and my goal is to be close to that weight by the time I am 21... So I have about a year and a half to go but idk I just need someone to be my coach or a friend who I can get in touch with regularly to ask questions or whatever the case my be.
Thank you emoticon

Hi
Rachel-- I completely understand. When I started off -- coaches came out of the woodworks and I didn't know who to choose. Ending up getting one that had weight to loose like me-- but it didn't workout for us. I made friends with another lady who was really motivating and even though she new I was under another coach welcomed me in as her own. I eventually switched over to her and she encouraged me to become a coach as well-- here I am! Still in my journey and doing great! If you are still looking for a coach, supporter and friend-- give me a try. I also have a facebook page-- called Friends, Fun and Fit if your own facebook. It's a closed one- so let me know if you'd be interested in joining and I'll get you in. You can do this! You have made the first step-- we can do it together! What are your beachbody workouts?

Hi Rachael.....I know exactly how you feel. Your not happy, you don't want to look yourself in the mirror and so on. I have been overweight my whole life. I was the "bigger" girl in school. My friends were always smaller. After having my 2nd kid and 2nd C Section in 2008 I weighed over 200 pounds. I am only 5'1''. I didn't really start doing anything until last year, my mom passed away in December 2010 and it was a wake up call for me. I need to get healthy for my kids! SO I have been on my journey for about a year and have lost 52 pounds and am looking to lose another 30 more. I have just recently become a coach because I want to be an inspiration and motivation for other people. If I can do it by working full time and with two little kids, anyone can do it. I wanted to be a coach to be accountable and that is helping me. You can find me on Facebook at No Excuses Nicky and follow my journey. If you like what you see let me know and we can look at where you should begin!!! Let's do this together and keep each other accountable and motivated.

I'm 25 years old and FINALLY getting my life on the right tract! I'm glad you are making this choice now. Your goals are def achieveable with determintation and motivation I see you hitting your goal weight wayyyy before its time to celebrate your 21 and your going to look fabulous!! I'm available my facebook at www.facebook.com/Lyoung0 or email lauraBBfitness@gmail.com I'm on here every day and my cell is 410-292-6299. Rachel,

You are awesome for seeking out support. I still struggle with the same 40 pounds to lose - workouts are great, eating that is the area to conquer next. Anyway, I have been trying to get many of my friends to get fit, but I might need new friends. Find me on Facebook. I have a group called Fit Warriors which I post in for anyone who needs motivation, questions, or whatever. Support is so essential that my coach has a group just for coaches (not all hers) just so we can share. Find me at Lisa Schlehuber on FB. Glad to add you as a fit friend!

If you haven't already gotten Chalene Johnson's Push book, it is a great tool for goal setting, success, and motivation. You can look for it on AMAZON.COM. I am going through it right now.

Oh, and just for stat purposes I am at 174 (highest I have been without being pregnant). My goal is 140 for now. But like I said early the eating is what keeps me here and I am working on conquering that issue now that I have to workouts a habit. Keep pushing play!

Hi! I am so moved by your post! I have a person that you need to meet. She is my best friend, Deneice Scott. Deneice has been on a journey for about a year now. She is about your height and started off about your same weight or a little heavier. She has completely changed her life in the last year and I have watched my best friend blossom into a beautiful butterfly. I have seen her confidence grow and her life change. She has lost about 60 pounds over the last year, but most importantly, she has changed her mind set...she has been getting her health coach certification and her entire goal in life is to HELP people. She knows your pain and your struggles. I would like to have her get in touch with you. She is such a wonderful, sweet, giving person and I think she would identify with your struggles and give you the support and encouragement you need emoticon

Sincerely,
Ashley Fox

Rachael,

Welcome, and thanks for your post. Believe it or not, I was at a pretty similar starting point when I started my own journey into health and fitness just over 100 days ago. I've always been heavier but over the last decade had really let myself go.

At my highest weight, I reached 251 pounds and had a whole variety of health problems including high blood pressure, snoring/sleep apnea, continual lack of energy, etc. So in December of 2011, I decided to take control of my life and recapture my own health and fitness. Since that time, I've lost 50 pounds. Have seen over 21" disappear from my body measurements, have seen most of my health issues disappear, and feel GREAT! This has come through changing what I am eating, starting to move my body, and focusing on achieving success.

I have been running group challenges for the last 6 months and have helped a lot of people lose weight. My current challenge has 120 people, and we've collectively lost 360 pounds in three weeks.

Feel free to take a look at my profile here, and let me know if you would be interested in talking more. I am always happy to help other people achieve their goals as well. And if you don't decide that I would be a good match as your coach, feel free to add me to your buddies list.

I'm always happy to help!

Greg

Hi,
I have so been there- I started out at over 235- but I wouldn't get on the scale so I actually don't know how high I had gotten. I've lost over 60 lbs so far and would like to lose another 30- I'm a beach body coach, but it doesnt matter to me if you make me your offfical coach or anything- I've had a lot of support along the way and I'm passionate about passing it along. So much so I've staring on a new career as a personal trainer specializing in special populations (obese, medical issues and overweight kids) I have a great group of women on facebook you are welcome to join, or you can message me at anytime. YOU CAN DO THIS!
