If you've ever done three programs at once, please share your thoughts on this --
I've been doing Chalene Extreme and also throwing in extra Turbo Jam cardio workouts each day and on rest days. The past couple of days I've been debating about adding Turbofire in place of Turbo Jam. Now I've been looking at Before & After pix that have me wondering if I should do BBL instead of Turbofire...or trying to work in some BBL as well as the CLX & TF.
If my goal was maintenance, I wouldn't ask, but my goal is weight loss of 50+ pounds. I'm eating 1385 calories per day or less on days when I workout very hard, according to my LoseIt app. My BMR is about 500 calories more than that.
I'm just afraid that if I spread myself out across three different programs I might not get the best results from any of the three.
I work full time and have a family & home to take care of too, so I want to be realistic about what I can do!
Anybody care to share thoughts with me on this subject?? Is three programs spreading my efforts too thin?
Thanks for any thoughts or advice you can share!
Debbie
Hey Debbie,
My daughter (Kalee username SoreyFitness) is also doing what you are asking about. I was going to hop on with her to do all 3, but I'm like you and have family, work, etc. So would it be too much? However, I'm trying to really only lose 10 pounds. so I have a little more play room to try. I've done CLX and TF and love them both. My suggestion since you don't want to spread yourself too thin and want to get the full benefit of the programs...I'd stick with one completely through the schedule and then maybe a hybrid of just 2 all the way through a schedule and then do a hybrid of the 3. My first choice would be CLX, then TF, then BBL. After you finish CLX and TF completely through each program, then you could do a hybrid of CLX/TF or hybrid of CLX/BBL if you're wanting to mix it up a little.
These are just my thoughts, but the programs were built to give you max results so I'd follow one all the way through at least once before mixing...unless you just get too bored. If you get bored, then you just want to quit. If it comes to that, start working in a hybrid of 2 programs.
Boy...I hope I didn't ramble too much to confuse!! Let me know if you have any questions!!
