I just started insanity on April 23, 2012... I'm not gonna lie that it is not easy, but definately INSANE!.. I like it so far, and today is my 4th video of the week... im not drinking any supplements. Just the exercise and water... should i be drinking something before or after?.. and just pretty much, motivation.. motivation is all i need to finish this 60 day program.

I use the Energy and Endurance and also the Results and Recovery formula to help me get through those workouts. I am still building my own endurance. If you do not have a Coach and need help with motivation let me know and I can include you in with my group that is starting Monday.

BlackLoot - I definitely would also recommend the Results and Recovery formula. In the meantime, chocolate milk is also a great post workout option. While water is good, your body needs to replenish certain things so getting a good 4:1 carbs to protein is significant within 30 minutes or so of working out. This is also a good way to curb the soreness that many of us experience, especially within the first week. Aside from that, your overall nutrition is very important. Check the nutrition guide that should have been sent with your program. There are lots of tools on the site as well to help guide you through this. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

I started April 25th, on a Wednesday and as excited as I am about this program, it will definitely be a challenge. I love working out, but Insanity is testing my limits! I know I can do it, but I am going to need some motivation as well for those days when I honestly do not feel like working out. Also, I have been following the Nutrition guide and eating well, are there any other recipes you guys recommend for these workouts?? Thanks and good luck!

Ruby - Congrats on making this commitment! You're right, it does push your limits, but pushing past your limits is what creates results!! Having a good support system is very beneficial, so you're in the right place! Almost any recipe can be made healthy. For myself, I've found that the simplest replacements like opting for fresh/homemade verses canned or prepared ingredients can make a world of difference. I found a list of healthy alternatives to common ingredients. Send me a buddy request if you want me to send it to you! It's really simple emoticon

I'm sure the motivation is already inside you. If you started the program you have it. finish what you started and there will be more motivation each day. I have lost 32 pounds, this is my last week of Insanity. I feel amazing and lost so much body fat. Have abs again and a body that's beach ready. Full of energy each day and feel unstoppable. You know why you started it and you know what you want. So go and get it! OORAH!!!!!

Bub - For starters, incredible before and after pics. Looks like you really worked hard, and it paid off for you. I just started month 2 of Insanity; and wow. I can't wait until I'm where you are now. What's your plan when you finish the program?
