well I made it throught month 1... was tough but I did it. Recovery week... oh how I love it!
NOW on to Month 2... I am terrified of it, afraid I can't make it through it or do it. Anyone else feel this way????

Lol. Good luck. Shawn T appears in a devil costume, pitch fork and whip. It is HELL! Strangely I am getting through it and enjoying it. U will yell a lot in phase two. Have fun.

My wife and I are on month 2 as well, actually just started yesterday. Its tough and we just started! It'll get better I'm sure but not easier. Stay focused and pray to god! Your gonna need the support! Trust me....

I definitely agree! I start month 2 next monday for insanity, and i have to say, I am SO intimidated by all the max workouts ahead. The recovery week is nice, but hopefully it will be enough of a break. Any advice? To have the workouts be that hard for an hour instead of 30 min is crazy. How long does it take to get used to the longer workouts, if you ever get used to it? Plus the first day of the second month there is the fit test AND a max interval workout, even crazier. Don't know how I'm going to do it!

Congrats all for working through Insanity. It was my first BeachBody workout since I started with last year. It kicked my butt. I almost quit during the warm ups of the first workout. I got through it and so will you. Month 2 is like starting over. It ia very tough.

Are all of you getting the results you want? How is your diets? Diet can be the hardest part.

I have completed 3 different workout programs with beachbody and I am on my 3rd week of P90X2. I have got great results and lost 75 pounds in the last year.

I am getting pretty good results, not so much weightloss but people at work have asked me if I have lost weight. I do have a body fat calculator on my scale, but I don't think it's very accurate and I wish it was. I do agree that diet is the hardest part of all of this and I'm always looking for tips and advice!! Thanks for the encouragement!

I have gotten good results so far i think.. a couple inches lost around the waist... couple around the bust... legs, arms, stomach, back all look a little toner. I take pics every two weeks to compare. I AM going to be pushing play tomorrow for Month 2... I am very intimidated bc Recovery week has spoiled the heck out of me. Diet...well I am just eating smarter and drinking a ton of water. I lost 10lbs the first 2weeks... nothing else since. I am not concerned about the scale, just inches and how I look. We can do this, just have to put our minds to it and Dig Deep!

On the days that there are two things to do; fit test/cardio max or cardio max/cardio abs, I break the times up. I have even done one of the fit tests onmy off day. 18 lbs down and several inches in my waist. Shakeology has made a huge difference. On another plus note, since my wife and have been doing Insanity our libido has increased. emoticon

eadams04 great job on the results. Yes momth 2 will be extra tough at first but you will enjoy the ride. Keep at it you are doing great.

I lost 26 pounds my first round of Insanity and would of lost more if my diet was right from the begining.

Great job on Month one ever one. I just start on month two and today will be my 3rd day. WOW what a work out out, I'm sore all over again. I think it was the Recovery Week prior. Haven't lost any weight yet, just 1 lbs. Hopefully will loose some by the end of month 2. Wife keeps checking on me every 10 minutes to see if I'm still alive, (I'm 57 male). So far so good. Will keep DIGGING DEEPER.

I am also starting my recovery week tomorrow but just had to watch the max interval circuit - the first workout in month 2. Oh my goodness! I am terrified! The warm up is crazy, the new workout is crazier and longer!! I am determined to get through this program though, month 1 was hard but at least the workouts were only 30-40 mins long!

If you made it through the first month, I guarantee you will make it through the second. I have just finished the Insanity program this week and I am amazed. It has taken me far beyond my expectations and yes it was very hard considering it has been the first workout program that I have ever done! Just hang in there. You will make it. I didn't find the exercises much harder just a bit longer in the second month. I am actually going to start it over again. I love it!!

Hey everyone you all are doing great. Insanity is an awesome workout and you will get the results you want if you dig deep and diet is right. I lost 26 pounds my first round and would of been more is I had a good diet from the start.
Month 2 will scare you when you preview the DVD's LOL. Once you get into it you will be fine.

Clarkent - I am a 53 year old male so I know what you are going through. Only being down 1 pound does not seem right. Are you following the meal plan?

If anybody out there needs any advice, tips or questions about the program or diet shoot me a friends request and I wioll be glad to help.

I am 52 years old - female. Glad to see you here!
I also think it depends on how much weight you need to lose. I didn't have any weight to lose but a few inches here or there certainly would be nice. After 1 month I may have lost a pound but have lost an inch from my waist, an inch from my hips and 1/2 from each thigh. Insanity really tightens thing up!
And yes, diet is key. You can work your butt off and if your diet is crappy you won't see the results, so keep it clean people! I remember the first time I heard food referred to as "clean" I thought maybe it was the chicken breast that didn't fall on the floor LOL.
But seriously, your results will be amazing if you stick to the program and eat clean, follow the diet plan, it's a good one.

One more week and two more workouts to comPlete first time through Insanity.These last few weeks have been very difficult! I am more sore and feel like I am barely getting through the work outs now. I know it is because it is I am going harder but geez!

I made it through my first week of month 2!! I was so scared when I previewed the max workouts, but like someone said in a previous post it wasn't too bad, just longer. I am amazed to see how many calories I have burned after a max workout session. 700 calories or so in one workout, geesh!! I love that ;) Good luck everyone

just started month two today - i think previewing the dvd yesterday helped me survive today as i sort of knew what to expect - didnt do as well as i thought i would on somethings n did better on others. so roll on tomorrow!
