I'm considering the Ultimate Reset but would really like to understand the menu prior to ordering, I know this may sound strange but can you have a "bad" meal once a week and is alcohol prohibited?

I also need to know the menu before-hand and am very interested in trying it. I have many dietary restrictions and am hoping it is something I can follow.

my husband is doing this now. There are no cheat meals built in and alcohol is definitely prohibited. it seems to be working for him, he's lost 7 pounds in 3 days and his energy level is higher for sure.

I'd like to know as well, I have a restricted diet and I'd like to know IF this is something I can do. Hate to spend a bunch of money if I can't do it. >_>

Hey! Ya'll sound just like me and my mom!! We took the plunge (it has a money back guarantee and free shipping on HD). We are on Day 10 and really liking it.

There are no cheat meals or alcohol allowed--which I usually "need" some chocolate each day so i was really nervous, but it hasn't been bad after day 3 (day 3 I wanted something sweet and had a headache really bad probably from lack of caffeine). It's 21 days so I figure i can do anything for 21 days even with no cheats emoticon

Week 1 has some meat, whole grains, eggs, greek yogurt, lots of veggies, lots of fruit, and nuts. Week 2 and 3 all animal products are cut out so you have whole grains, veggies, fruits, and some nuts.

So far it hasn't been anything just weird to eat and if you go to the Beachbody Ultimate Reset on Facebook you can see the first week's grocery list. You can also substitute meals as long as they are a dinner-for-a-dinner kind of thing and in the same week which is nice!

The first week was the biggest list and was about $150, week 2 and 3 are shorter and were about $50-75 for us (thats feeding both of us and picking up extra little things like toliet paper, dog food, etc).

I'll send you each a buddy request so if you have any more questions I can try to help.

Hello

I'm on Day 20 and I'd love to help you out. I sent you a buddy request, so I'll be able to send more detailed info by those means.

It's been a great experience and I do have a quite different energy level as well as a new appreciation for foods that I wouldn't normally consider. I've lost 7 lbs up till today and losing weight wasn't my goal with this program. In fact, I didn't know I had 7 lbs to lose emoticon

Hope to chat soon!

I saw your post and am also considering ultimate reset but want to make sure I can handle the diet. If you can share the menu choices that would really help me decide. I think I eat pretty well now but am not fond of tempe and miso so I'm hoping there are some other choices to these? I could do vegs for a few weeks but I'm thinking that this is just the jumping off place for a different type of dietary lifestyle...?

I am on day 14 and while there are NO cheat meals, NO alcohol, you do have choices with the food. Yes, you should follow the plan, but if there is something in week one that you know you will not eat, you can sub another meal from the SAME week. One of the points of UR is to get you trying new foods. I absolutely LOVED the sweet potato and roasted red pepper bisque. In fact, I'll be eating alot of the meals on a regular basis after the UR. And most of them take a little prep, but none really take a long time to make. I have enjoyed trying all the different meals. Another fav was the beans/rice/tortilla. Yummy!

One reason I decided to go with the UR ( other than a tennis elbow flareup that was preventing me from doing the X) was to get rid of bad habits. Like my evening cocktail and my daily coffee. I have to say, I haven't missed either one!
