I've tried to keep the P90X way of doing the workouts (unlike P90X2s foundation/strenght/ability.....)
Insanity has only been popped in on the cardio days (and sometimes on day 6 too), and the only P90X+ workouts are the ones in the recovery weeks. My goal with this hybrid is to really mix things up, to make it as fun as possible. Of course I still want to maximize my results.
What do you guys think? Is it to much? Are the workouts matched together properly?
I should also mention that I have done one round of p90X, one round of a hybrid with P90X/Insanity, and that I'm currently doing P90X2 - which I found really fun, but the least giving.

i think that's a little too much. I can easily see myself overtraining doing this.

Hey jayloranderson,

I think the hybrid looks awesome. If you've done the baseline work you'll have no problem pushing through and digging deep.

I'm about to finish my own hybrid as well doing X2 and Insanity. (see below -- sorry it's long and I can't figure out a way to shorten it). I find that mixing the two programs together allows me to get the most from both programs and also keeps my interest up since the workouts are always changing.
