or a few, I have met a couple of nice people , but my problem is that I don't do JUST beachbody workouts and most people seem to be looking for buddies who are doing the same thing as them. . I crave variety and I like to just wake up and decide what I want to do today without the pressure of a set program. I feel like it's not fair to have a buddy that I work out so differently from so it would be nice to find others like me. The beachbody workout I use most is Slim Series... love those workouts but they are tough and some are long so typically I only do them on Sundays when I have a lot more time and energy. I also have SI6, PHH and P90 but rarely pick up those. I am looking to incorporate more PHH workouts in since they are short and sweet! I don't know if it's fair to even post here considering how little I do beachbody workouts but I figure, hey, doing them is doing them... no matter how much or how little. Anyone else out there like me? Holla at me. emoticon

We really got up and knocked that workout out this morning, didn't we... now we have the WHOLE day to just have fun and not worry about it. Ah, reading what you wrote reminds me of me! I could have written it myself... except for the fact that I have NEVER in my adult life been a size 8. I would love to be tho! I know EXACTLY what you mean about burn out. I always hit things very hard and then after a few weeks I can't keep up that pace and then I feel like a failure and then don't do anything. Tell me how that makes sense??

You really do work out hard, girl, I can see why you burn out. I use to work out twice a day...years ago and I now know that it's a little too much. Would be different if I didn't have anything else to do all day but workout and sit around but after a long day at work... it can be a lot! Of course I know that different people have different abilities so I am definitely not going to tell you what you should or shouldn't do. Your body will tell you what it needs... no worries there. It will force you to rest when you truly need it.

I have to get showered but wanted to send a response. This is my current workout schedule. I just came up with this yesterday. I'm trying to not go nuts with it..even though some may say it's still a good amount of exercise. Mon - Fri... I rotate between an hour and 30 mins. Monday will be a 30 min day since one the weekends I will do an hour simply because I have the time. I have TONS of workouts so I logged it into WOWY as cardio/aerobics because it was just easier...but a lot of the workouts I do have some strenght training, some floor work, toning work etc in the mix. So, on the days I have an hour workout I will start at 5am, on the days have 1/2 hour I will start at 5:30. Like I mentioned, Saturday and Sunday is an hour and I like to get it done early... so 7:00 or 8:00 usually. I think I signed up for 7:00 on both days. Anyway, maybe we can meet up on my 5:30 days? Jae I work out today and felt so great! No mo' breaks for me. I will take a rest day from time to time. I just wanted to update you and let you know I'm ok.

Of course you will do it, and I know you will do it the right way because you are WAAAY too smart not to. emoticon You have an awesome attitude and I love it! It's rubbing off on me. We get a fresh start everyday to do something great and we can choose not to even think about yesterday or 10 years ago if we don't want to. I'm right here with you. Just finished my morning workout and I'm sweating... I'm also running late but wanted to say Good job on getting back into the groove. I'm so proud! emoticon

I've been on p90 for 56 days. Here's my take:

Week 1 is a killer. You're sore and frustrated because you haven't "automated" the routines.

Week 2+ is almost a glide. I rapidly moved from 8,10,12 lb weights, etc.

At about week 5 frustration crept in because I had plateaued. Solution? Call BB, get some supplements, and keep pushing. Result: I do feel better, which lets me work out harder, and I'm losing again.

Here's a tip that works for me: I faithfully alternated SWEAT/SCULPT every night since I started. Of the two, SWEAT is harder (to me), particularly with the inclusion of ABS.

Every now and then, if I am really tired, or my joints need a break, I'll just do two SCULPTS in a row. This gives me an extra 24 hours to recover, and it makes it much easier to get back into SWEAT the next day.

My energy tends to drop; my diet is pretty aggressive. Meal Shake for breakfast/lunch, and Healthy Choice frozen dinner. The supplements are helping a lot to maintain my energy.

I am going to transition to Circuit 2 for my last 35 days. I'm anxious to see if my routine holds up; also what I might have to do to adjust.

Keep in mind, it's Power 90, but there's nothing wrong with Power 94, or Power 106. If you do skip a day, don't skip more than 1 or 2...get right back on!

...Or Power 365. emoticonImagine how good you'll look this time next year.

Hi Russ,

I haven't received my Power 90 tapes, etc. yet...sounds like I need to invest in some free weights. What workout aids do I need to go along with the Power 90 tapes? Also, you didn't mention your weight loss since you started, have you loss any weight?

Hi JaeKae! I wanted to buddy up with you this morning but you were'nt on the list. I'm new to this so is there a rule that you can only have a workout buddy once? I hope not. Maybe we'll catch eachother another day.

Thanks for stopping by! I had fun working out with you! It brings a smile to my face when I sign on and see my buddy. I am wondering if I didn't show up because every other day I only do a half hour workout... soooo, naturally I try to get in that extra half hour of sleep so I workout at 5:30 rather than 5:00 on those days. Is that it? Or was it a 5:30 day that we buddied up?

Ah, I was so tired this morning guys... if it wasn't for the fact that I had to meet up with someone I would have turned over and caught a few more Zs. I was so glad I pushed through it... AFTER I was done. Now if they would just come up with a virtual restaurant so I can can be held accountable at dinner time too! emoticon

Hey! I hope you get your tapes soon. I remember when I ordered them...wow, it was well over a year ago, I couldn't stand waiting!! Yes, you will need some free weights... or bands. I believe that's all you need other than a towel and some water! Granted I'm not a 90er and it's been quite a while since I looked at the tapes so hopefully someone who knows more about it will chime in. Do you have any free weights at all at home? You have to get ready girl, what if your tapes come tomorrow?? Ha. I doubt that, mine took about 3 weeks just as they said it would.

I forgot to mention that I think in WOWY you can only have up to 3 buddies... I am fairly new to it too but from what I understand, it appears that if I choose you, then I can't choose anyone else but two other people will be able to choose me if they wish. So I am assuming that after that takes place I no longer come up as an option to be picked. BUT, that wasn't the problem this morning because I only had ONE buddy this morning...we met at the "gym" and we rocked it. She rocked it much longer than I did ...she was there when I got there and still there when I left. Then again my 1/2 hour workout was short and sweet. I already set up my schedule thru Sunday...but next week I'll be looking for you!

Thanks for explaining the buddy list. Guess what? I got tired of tracking my BB Power 90 package on the USPS website (was sent on May 4) so I called my local post office. They said it's there and will be delivered tomorrow or Monday. YIPPPEEEEEE! I can't wait!

I'm soooo pumped for you! I can't wait for you to start p90! I know that good things are ahead for you. You have been doing great with getting started even before the package arrived so I know you are ready to burn things up now. Happy Friday JaeKae! How was your workout today? Are you ready for the three day weekend?

I'm still waiting on my P90 tapes - I called the Post Office (again) last night and they said they will be delivered any day now. Apparently they weren't on the right "skiff" whatever that means.

But there is still plenty that can be done, right? I'm not complaining, honest. It just reminds me of Christmas Eve when I was a kid and couldn't sleep or eat because I was waiting for Santa. I guess I'm waiting for Santa Tony emoticon)

Hi. Ah, there I thought you had received your tapes and already started! You are right, there is plenty to be done and you are doing it, my friend. Your enthusiasm is contagious... and I like it. emoticon I hope you get your tapes soon, it sucks waiting and waiting. I am very impatient, lots of times I can find a much better deal on things online but I would rather just buy it from the stores if at all possible because I always want it NOW. Have a fantastic weekend! I just decided that I am working tomorrow so that kinda messes up my relaxing plans but I plan to get in there early and leave before noon. I just need to catch up on a few things and make my desk look half decent again. That reminds me, I need to go into WOWY and reschedule my workout. Right now it's set for 7am... I will have to change it to 5am *sigh* just like my weekday schedule. Oh well.. that's the way it goes sometimes, right?
