I did SI6 for 6 weeks from 10/05 to 11/05.

I lost 16 pounds and a total of 22". (6" around waist, 6" around hips, 3" on chest, 3" on each of my thighs and 1" off my right arm. Left arm remains the same.)

I lost 1 dress size - and went from a tight 18 to a tight 16 (I'll take it!)

My body fat went from 38% to 34% and my BMI went from 33.6 to 31.

And I can finally wear my wedding ring which I havent been able to do for 10 years!!!

I started Turbo Jam on 12/05 and by 6/06 had lost another 24 pounds and 4.5 inches and 2 dress sizes.

From 6/06 to 1/07 I kinda fell of the wagon due to many reasons - I went up and down between 5 and 10 pounds.

Then I got back on track and was determined to lose the last 25 pounds by 5/07! I will post my final results pictures then.

Well, due to family circumstances, my chronic illness and my neck injury, I didnt lose any more weight.

As a matter of fact I went up and down 10 pounds. But gosh darnit Im not giving up! It's 9/07 and I'm starting a new challenge.

11/25 I decided to weigh and measure. I've lost another 10 pounds and several more inches! I'm down to a size 10 and have 1 more size to go! I plan to get to goal weight by end of January!

In the meantime I hope this inspires some people to never give up, even when you fall off the wagon, keep trying!

Well, I tried P90X but I am not ready for it - it's intense! So I'm working on Hip Hop Abs right now. I am not posting my final weight or measurements until end of January so stay tuned!

I am a size 8 as of January 2008! A great feeling, however, I just took my size 8 pics this morning and not much has changed since my size 10 pics so I'll leave those there and repost when I see a significant difference. emoticon

Okay, worked on HHA for a while and I love it, but I wanted to try working out with Tony Horton so I am combining Power Half Hour with Power 90 Master Series. I love it! Tony is a riot! It's hard not to laugh when you work out with Tony. emoticon I didn't get too far with Tony since I got some sort of nasty sickness that was going around so I only got two weeks in before I had to quit. I was sick for almost 4 months. Then I eased my way back into exercise by starting with walking, then doing some cardio with Shaun T. and Chalene. I had not lost any weight since January so I decided to break my plateau by going back to Slim in 6 with Debbie Siebers. Stay tuned for progress - on my last week. The best part? My husband is working out with me! emoticon

August 1, 2008: Okay, I did Slim in 6 but I must confess, my food intake was not so good. As a result, I didn't see much of a change although I did feel the energy from the workouts. I then got serious about my food intake (really serious) and continued to workout with Power Half Hour and a combination of other Beachbody cardio DVDs. I've lost many inches and pounds and I am starting to see my abs!!

Bottom line, you MUST exercise AND eat properly or you will not see results. Lesson learned. I'm on track with both now! Stay tuned for results!

I started P90X on 8/18/08. Will post results in 3 months!

Didn't quite make it through P90X due to many issues, but now that the program Ive been waiting for is out - I am doing Chalean Extreme! I just started in January. Stay tuned!

P.S. I am now a size 6.

What program are you moving on to? I think you got some awesome results from the SI6! Why not do another round of SI6? I'm only asking because I'm half way through SI6 and was planning to do another round afterwards and was just wondering why you are switching.

Hi there, I am moving on to Turbo Jam. I did get great results with SI6 but I did not have any fun. Im one of those people that doesnt stick to things for very long unless it's fun. I tried TJ and it was so much fun I know I can stick to it for a very long time. SI6 I might be able to go back to it for 2 weeks every once in a while but I know I wont be happy if I have to go through a whole round of it again. One suggestion and somehting that made it easier for me is to turn off their music and put on my own fast paced party music. That helped but not enough for me to want to go through it again. HOpe that was helpful info!

Thanks Joan! I am not looking for fast results now, just something I can stick to for a long time and I think I can do that with Turbo Jam!

Turbo Jam is one of the programs beachbody sells, check it out when you get a chance. It is lead by Chalene Johnson, a tiny bundle of energy and spirit. It is more than just kickboxing - It is lots of fun moves to great "make you wanna move" music. It makes me feel like Im at a party rather than doing exercise. Something I know I can stick to for a long time. Plus you burn alot of calories without realizing you are working that hard! With SI6 I was burning alot of calories while I was bored and not having fun. With TJ I can burn lots of calories while having fun and never bored for a moment. Hope that helps.

Learn & Burn (the beginner tape that shows you how to do the moves so you dont hurt yourself and includes a 15 beginner workout is total 25 min). Turbo sculpt is 40 min. (the strength exercise with weights or you can do it without weights too). There's a 20 minute workout one for those days when you dont have alot of time (or energy). Ab Jam (the belly workout) is 40 min. And then Cardio Party is 45 minute that's all cardio. When you get the TJ program it comes with a booklet that lays out which workouts to do on what days for both beginner and advance. It also has a food program that you can follow, etc. It is a well thought out program for people like me that just dont have time for research. It's all written out for you!

Thanks Heather! You have come a long way too. I think keeping in touch on the message boards keeps me motivated. Those 6 months that I did not do much with exercise and fell off the healthy eating wagon... those were the months that I was "too busy" to get on the message boards for support. I will never make that mistake again! emoticon
