Today is the day. (March,07) I signed up to be a Team Beachbody Coach. You can get more information on what Beachbody is all about from my profile.

We have a WOWY Workout group called SIBLINGS IN SWEAT (SIS). The more the merrier, feel free to join at any time. See page 51 for how to join a WOWY group.

I began exercising around 1977 (its hard to remember that far back). That makes it a 30 YEAR journey SO FAR!! emoticon Many of those years were at a local YMCA. Little did I know that I could exercise at home. I could of saved a lot of money, had I known.

Since starting with Power90 in April of 2002, my life has changed in ways I never thought possible. There have been highs and lows the past 6 1/2 years.

I have done every Beachbody workout. Power90, Power Half Hour, P90X, Fast 10,Slim in 6, Slim Series, Yoga Booty Ballet, YBB Live, Turbo Jam, TJ Life, TJ Ball workouts, Hip Hop Abs, HHA Maximum Results, Slim Express, P90 Masters, HHA Dance Party, Rockin Body, Ten Minute Trainer, ChaLean Extreme, and now Insanity.

The variety of workouts to choose from keeps the boredom away.

If you have any questions, or just need to be motivated, I'm ready and willing to help.

If you need help with what Beachbody is all about, send me an email.

In the Million Dollar Body Club I am known as JodiZ

The thought of someone you don't even know supporting you in your goals is almost unbelievable Believe me, it will happen. Care to give it a try?

OMT. If you slip and fall, what's important is that you get up and begin again. If you think that others posting here in the following pages didn't fall, you are so wrong. We ALL DO! Its up to you to Decide & Commit We will help you Succeed!

Jodi,

I was thrilled to see this posting from you. You already are an awesome coach to so many. You’ve been my coach and didn’t even know it! I’ve been lurking on the boards for about a week. I’ve followed your thread on the HHA board and was SO MOTIVATED I ordered HHA yesterday. I had planned to make myself wait until April, but I saw you all having so much fun, I just had to get with the program sooner.

Jodi, you are the BBoday Queen! You have amassed quite an impressive library of workouts. You not only have your workout experiences to share, you also have an energetic and supportive attitude.

I am 50 and live near Chicago w/husband and 2 teenager daughters. Also have 2 Golden Retrievers and some cats. I’ve been working out for years (running/weights). About 4 years ago I got hooked on The Firm. Then I found Turbo Jam one year ago and have been addicted since day 1.

I am currently recovering from surgery so I can’t go “all out” at the present time. Between kind neighbors bringing me goodies and my inability to exercise I’ve gained 10 lbs. over the winter. I hope to work off the 10 by June.

It’s wonderful to have found you all on the BBody Boards. This will be fun!!!! emoticon

One last thing, Jodi. I was very happy to see your C-scopy went well yesterday!

Betty, Gee, I didn't know I had a "stalker". emoticonI'm glad I could inspire you from afar.

I debated on ordering HHA for about two weeks when it first came out. Ordering wasn't a mistake at all. I'm not a dancer, it doesn't matter. Shaun T breaks the moves down slowly. Its very easy to catch on to.

Did you know we have a golden retriever too? Just one though. We also have a Yorkshire Terrier. We nicknamed them Tigger and Eeyore. I think you can guess which one is Eeyore. The kids like to say LadyBug (the Yorkie) has HDD (Hyper Dog Disorder). emoticon She's very excitable.

Have you ever done TJ's 10 Day Kick Start? I found it very helpful in dropping more weight than I thought possible. If you don't like the plan cause it has too many foods you don't normally buy, try to aim for the carb/protein/fat ratios they use. By eating more protein you won't get hungry.

My youngest sister lives in the Chicago area too. Her kids are close in age to mine, 12 and 10.

I'll look forward to helping you on your journey, on this side of the boards. emoticon No more lurking. Do you WOWY? I'm usually in there by 7:30 AM.

Have a super evening/morning,

Jodi

Hi Jodi,

I'd forgotten I had the TJ 10-Day Kick Start. I just pulled it out. Normally I don't do well on diets. As soon as I read them I start feeling hungry and deprived. emoticon However, I'm looking at Chalene and reading "It's only ten days..." Perhaps I should give it a try!

This morning I did the 2 TJ "Live" workouts - CP/Remix and Booty Sculpt. So far today (3:30pm) I've done very well on my eating as well.

I used to go on WOWY but haven't in a l-o-n-g time. I believe I have to register again. I will take care of that and look for you on the other side!

Have a good one!

Hi Jodi,

I just went to WOWY to sign up and it redirected me to MDBC. I see I am supposed to sign up through my coach if I already have a coach (that's you, right?!?).

Can you tell me how to sign up so I'm associated with you, Coach? Hopefully I'm not missing the obvious. Maybe I'm confused and just need a SNACK!

Thanks,
Betty

Betty, I'd love to be your official coach.

I sent you an email with a possible answer to your question on logging on to WOWY again. I know that if you don't use it for a period of time they terminate you and you have to re-register. In the past listing a coach wasn't an issue. Must be something new.

What I'm not sure about is the logistics of it. The email will explain in greater detail. I asked Milan, my MDBCoach for help too.

I'm proud of you for giving the 10 Day Kick Start plan in TJ a try. I know what you mean about always being hungry. The plan is high in protein, it will help alot in keeping you satisified and not looking for food due to hunger.

Are you considering starting this weekend or waiting until Monday? I'll pull my guide out and follow along with you so I know what day you are on and maybe I can offer tips on each days meals.

Remix and Booty Sculpt are a fun combination. You did great doing both of them today.

What time of day do you think you'll be in WOWY, once you get signed up? I'm usually there by 7:30 AM, give or take 10 minutes.

Have a great evening (or morning if this shows up then),

Jodi

Friday early evening,

Hi Betty, in response to your email, yes I live in Green Bay. We've been here almost 8 years. My husband tells me that in about a year we may have to move farther South. Back to almost where we came from FDL area. Darn, I like it here. He'll possibly be up for a promotion, they'd want him closer to Milwaukee. FDL would be a good alternative.

Hope you get the WOWY issues straigtened out soon. I'll be in WOWY around 6:00AM.

Are you part of the MDB Club? If you are you could enter the monthly contest when you feel ready. I'm entered for the current month. Winners announced in early April. I entered twice now, but only recently realized I needed to include dates that the pictures were taken. Oops, pays to read the "directions". emoticon

Have you gotten word on if your HHA has shipped?

I should be around this weekend. We have some things going on in the morning on Saturday. Probably run some errands in the afternoon. Nothing that will keep me away from the computer though. emoticon Thank Goodness! emoticon

Have a great weekend,

Jodi

Hi Jodi! I welcomed you on Milan's thread, and I just found you here today! I came here to set up my own coaching thread and see that you are one step ahead of me!

My, you really DO have an extensive beachbody library, don't you? That's GREAT! You can help TONS of people with your fantastic advice!

Hi Jodi and All,

I still haven't gotten the WOWY/MDB account straightened out yet. I was in one of those "rock and a hard place" situations. It wouldn't let me register as a new person because it already had my e-mail. However, I couldn't get in under my former e-mail/password. I then got an e-mail welcoming me to the MDB club and an e-mail from a coach (not you Jodi) which is kind of strange because I was never able to get to anything on the MDB side. I e-mailed customer service yesterday afternoon so hopefully things will be straightened out soon and I can get to the other side!

Jodi, I will probably be getting to WOWY about an hour later than you. I usually work out around 8am Central Time. When I was working it was 5:30 but now that I'm in between jobs I sleep in a bit, read the paper and then work out.

I will start the 10 Day Kick Start on Monday. One of daughters has a Spanish assignment to make us a Mexican food meal tonight. I believe it's going to be Mexican Pizza. Good thing I'm not on my 10 day yet!

I did TJ 20 Mn WO + Turbo Sculpt this morning. Still no word the HHA has shipped. I ordered it last Tues, I believe.

Happy St. Patricks Day, everyone!

Betty

Betty, eventually the WOWY situation will be straightened out.

Good job with the TJ workouts this morning.

If you get into WOWY around 8:30, I'll most likely still be there. Unless I have something pressing to do, I often to an hours worth of workouts.

I don't think I ever got a ship date on my HHA via email. I got on Live Assistance to inquire. It had shipped, they gave me the tracking number.

Keep me posted on how you're doing on the 10 Day Kick Start. Be sure to weigh and measure too.

Its sunny but cool. Spring will be here soon, (I hope).

Monday afternoon,

Betty, jumping in here (did I beat you to the punch) emoticon. Focus my friend. Today is the first day of the 10 Day Kick Start. You'll notice (possibly if you count)that calories will vary each day. You can substitute foods for similiar items.

If you find you're getting hungry, drink water. Or try fitness water, be sure to read the label, propel is very low in calories.

Pop in and let me know how you're doing.

Enjoy the sunshine,

Jodi

Hi Jodi,
I am here!! I didn't check in yesterday, I was hoping to get my MDBC situation ironed out and do it then. I didn't get things straightened out last night, so I called Cust Svc today.

I am officially "in the club", however I will bet a million that I'm not signed up with you as my coach. I spent 35 minutes this morning with a very nice customer service rep. He gave me the e-mail address to request a coach change. After 35 minutes, I was just happy to finally be able to sign up! (He was very confused about the process, too, so I didn't feel so bad.)

I did start the 10 Day Kick Start yesterday. There were a few tense moments (like when my daughter popped popcorn last night at about 8!!) but I made it! As you know, the first few days are the hardest - you have all those bad habits to overcome!

I have also been doing my workouts. I signed into WOWY and logged my workouts for this week. Do/Can I invite you as a Buddy or are you all "buddied-out"?

I will probably have a lot of questions over the next few days. Hopefully it won't take me too long to catch on to all of this.

Thanks for all your help. I hope the day is going well for you.

Hi Betty, Yeah for the Customer Service Rep. It worked, you're linked to me.

I'm proud of you for making it through the first day of Kick Start. You're going to find it an education in how to choose heathly meals. I'll bet if you tell your daughter what you are doing, she'll try to help you instead of hinder. As a whole air-popped popcorn is a great snack. Its the salt and butter than make it a bad snack.

Go ahead and put me on your buddy list in WOWY. I'll do the same. Remember to upload a picture. Without having a picture appear when your in WOWY you won't be eligible for the daily contest.

You haven't mentioned what your goals are? How much weight are you hoping to lose? How long have you been doing BB workouts? Is it just TJ. I started back when P90 and Slim in 6 were the only workouts available.

I'm here to help you, no matter what the question, ask away. I look at the boards as an extension of family. I care about your progress and WANT you to succeed.

Keep in mind if the questions are related to the business end, this isn't the place to ask them. I have a thread in the MDB Coach Business World thread for such questions.

How is today (Tuesday) with Kick Start. Its going to be fun working with you on a daily basis.

BTW you are my "first" to coach.

Hi Jodi,

It's Wed. afternoon and I just read your comments from yesterday. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.

I am still following the Kick Start (had to make a few exceptions today when I went out to lunch). I can already see it's made a big difference in my "ab area". There's nothing like progress (and a great coach emoticon) to motivate you!

My daughter felt bad about the popcorn incident. She'd made it when I was upstairs and when I came down I smelled it. You know how that smell hangs in the air! At least she'd eaten it all already so I wasn't tempted.

I will add you to my Buddy List in WOWY. I uploaded a picture yesterday but they must be swamped with work because I don't think my pic. is available yet.

Today was a TJ Cardio Party 2 day. I'm rotating among 4 TJ videos at the moment. I should be getting my HHA pretty soon.

Hope all is well with you and your family. I will see you tomorrow in WOWY if not before.

Thanks for checking in with me, you're the best!

Thursday morning,

Hi Betty, Did you know that you can get notifications of posts sent to your email? When you're posting to a thread, before you hit reply, click on the "Notification" tab and note how you want to receive them. I have them sent right to my email, I can read and reply from there. "Reply" takes me directly to BB's usual reply screen.

Three days down, 7 more to go. You're doing great, already seeing results in your abs.

I'm glad your daughter finished off the popcorn.

I have a friend who just signed up for WOWY. I'm going to invite her to join us here. She's new to BB and the message boards.

Have a great Thursday.

Hi Betty, (arewethereyet)

I saw you in WOWY this morning. My computer kicked me out so I couldn't send a post-workout message. I went back to see if you were there. And guess what, there you were. Doing Cardio Party.

I noticed the time listed was in ET. Did you know that you can put your own time zone in. When you do that, your posts and your WOWY times will be exactly what they are. Get it?

My name in MDB is TBTA because tobethinagain was to long. I was part of MyBeachbody when they launched it in 2002.

Someone else may be joining us here soon, emoticon (thats for "you" if your reading this) I sent her a link to the thread directly. She's brand new to BB and WOWY. Welcome her with open arms, as I'm sure you will.

I put you in my Buddy list in WOWY too.

Have a super Thursday. The sun is shining, even have a window open.

Hi Coach J,

Very exciting that we may have someone joining us soon!

I just checked WOWY and I see my time as CT. I thought I'd done that already, but figured it may have been "lost" along the way. My workout times in WOWY usually start @ 8:15 CT. However, I am usually later on weekends and next week is Spring Break for the girls, so I will probably be much later getting in. (We will all be catching up on our beauty sleep emoticon)

Gorgeous weather here in Illinois today, too! Sun shining, birds, rabbits, squirrels, etc. all out enjoying it.

Still going gangbusters on the diet. Those first few days are the hardest. Now I'm really psyched!

Take care and I'll talk to you soon!

Betty, all good news, workout, weather and Kick Start are superb today. emoticon

During the week we'll be in WOWY at the tail end of mine, beginning of your workout. Weekends, I'm actually in there earlier, around 6:00AM.

One more day and you're half way through TJ's Kick Start. How is the hunger going? Do you like the menu offered?

Spring Break isn't until the first week of April for my kids. During that week, I'll be in WOWY early, 6:00-6:30 AM. I like to get it done. emoticon

Are you a plant person? I am, big time. So is the "newcomer" when she decides to join us. I bought two very large self watering planters a month ago. Actually planted them today. emoticonI know, I'm pushing it just a tad. emoticon I put some seedlings in that were getting way too tall, (falling over) and bulbs that are a lower variety. I'll be covering them up at night and days that its cooler.

Have a great evening (morning by the time this posts emoticon), see you WOWY,

Friday Morning,

Betty, I'm so glad your HHA came in. It sounds like you tried one out. Shaun T recommends doing LMA before every workout. I use it as a mini warm up.

Fruit is expense off season. When I did Kick Start the first time I bought fresh and paid the higher price. What I do now, is buy frozen. So much cheaper, even in the winter. Be sure there is no sugar added, stick with the fruit in bags. Blueberries have been a little higher this winter. I buy the Berry Blend to get a mix of some blueberries. On average its less than $2.00 a bag.

About that "green thumb". Stick with plants that are hardy and easy to grow. Take it in little steps. If you have an area you'd like to see some flowers. Look for some annuals that you like. One of my favorite is marigolds, the little ones. Annuals only grow in season and die when it gets cold. Perienals will come back next year, usually bigger.

I hope to see you in WOWY this AM.
