Hey all,

I had a thread over at the other P90 message boards but there was not much support. I'll be starting P90 on 8/2/04. I actually started it this past Monday <7/26> but Monday night my nephew decided to pour his juice into the DVD player and the plant next to it!! I was a bit upset at first glance but I had to laugh bcs when I caught him he looked up at me like 'Huh...what I do??' It was so cute but not so cute for my pockets. I'm getting another player this weekend therefore I'll be starting the 90 days Monday.

Okay now here's my story. I'm 25 but will be 26 in about 2 weeks and I feel like I'm 56 <no offense to anyone in that age bracket emoticon> I've been in a serious relationship with my current boyfried for almost 10 months <yes we're still fresh> but my last relationship is were I gained most of the weight at. We were together for about 3 years and when I met him I was a small size ten. We went out to eat constantly but for like the first 4-5 months I didn't order much. When I noticed I started to gain weight I started to resrict my eating and began to exercise. Now being that he was a big man <6'1, 285lbs> he liked big women and I was by far the smallest women he had been involved with. Being fresh and newly falling in love you tend to believe what your mate will tell you. So with that he would say "You don't need to lose no weight girl...it's all going to the right spots <yeah hips & backside> Just 5 more lbs and you'll be just right" Well needless to say 5lbs turned to 10 to 15 to 35....you figure out the rest. I got too comfortable in our relationship and tried not to let the growing dress sizes bother me. We eventually split and now 4 yrs later I'm still carrying around the 80+lbs of baggage. My current boyfriend is (believe it or not) a health nut!! He loves me the way I am but he was very supportive when I approched him about wanting to do something with my weight. He told me that he's there for me if I need him but this will be a LIFESTYLE change only I can control. He said I can control what goes into my body therefore controlling what shows outward!!! Talk about motivation!!!

The other motivation is a trip to Jamaica 11/25/04. I really want to get down to a 13/14 by then which this 90 days will put right at the 2nd week in Nov. to finish. Right now I'm a tight and I stress tight 20. I refuse to go shopping for a 22....a 12 yes but a 22...NO THANKS!! So please....any support you can give me along the way will be more than appreciated. I'm a pretty positive person...except when it comes to my weight issue....that when I get down a bit bcs the road seems impossible.

Okay this is turning into a 3pg book so I'll stop here. I'll post my measurements and pictures this weekend.

Im with you too but doing it in Irag got to day65 when it all started to melt, cant wait to get there again! Ill be here and try to get some pics just push play!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm here with you too, I pretty much got fat when I started dating my now husband. We went out to eat all the time, and I didn't watch what I ate, I was 16 135 lbs. and thought nothing could change my figure, at the time I could eat anything and not see it. Then my metabolism slowed down and now I can't get below 190. I'm a size 16 and my goal could be a 12 (secret goal is 6/8 emoticon)

Tiff hun it can be done!! Trust me I am kinda small but for me its big. Right now I am in about a 10 was in a 12. Anyway long story short, my mother in law bought P90 for herself, she was a 22, a month later, yes I said a month, a whole 30 days later she was in a 16, not kidding either. And she is someone that sits and eats pizza and drinks soda all day. Then she went on the diet and drank more water.

Just thought I would stop by and throw some encouragement at you!! You CAN do this!! Your boyfriend is right about it being a life style change that only you can make, but you can! Remember that you are wonderful and you deserve to be healthy and feel great! You are lucky that you have his support! I will check back in with you!!

Cloyd Hey and welcome!!! How long have you been in Iraq?? My brother is in the Air Force and he is scheduled to go over for a 4 month tour next week. Have you seen a camel spider since you've been there....I got a picture and OH MY GOODNESS was that thing BIG!! Anyway, Hope you'll be able to do the full 90 days w/o being moved. What kind of results did you see b4 when you did it for 65 days??

Hey MamaBear81!! I think you'll surpass that size 12 by the end of 90 days. I'm here for all the support you need. We can do this together!!! You'll get to that size six if you're patient bcs remember it didn't take 90 days to gain it all to it won't take 90 days to get it off. Set attainable, realistic goals and you'll get there....I know you will emoticon!!! Will you be following Michi's Ladder in addition to exercising?? Let me know okay!!!

TXchik Thanks so much for your words of encouragement and that incredible story about your mother-in-law!! I wish I could see results like that!! Did she do anything different with her diet like Atkins, South Beach Diet or just Michi's Ladder?? Share the secrets <lol...jj> but that's really good for her. And very inspriational to me too!! On a different note it's good that you are trying to get back in to excerising since you had your foot surgery.....Kudos to you!! As far as the pain you're experiencing just take it easy the first week or two like Tony says this way it give your body time to re-learn the moves. Did you start with level 1/2 or restart were you left off on 3/4??

JUST LOOK AT YOUR 90 DAY PICS!!! You did GREAT and I mean it!! Are you still using P90 & going to Curves?? I have one of those right around the corner from be but didn't really believe they would work to reshape my body....what's you experience like with them??

Aloha Sandy.....three/four times is a charm!! You'll succeed this time and I'll help you...if you let me!! I'm normally logged on reading the boards at least three to four times a day. So if you need some support I'm here for you. I need some buddies to come with me to Hawaii next year since that's my goal....hummmmm.....will it be you??!!! <lol> Just stay committed and you'll be unstoppable!! Just think of all the cute outfits you wanted to buy but couldn't....just think of what you can do once you get to your desired weight/size!!

Now for everyone else...... if you're reading this then let me know what you're goals are. What are you're reasons for committing to BB & the programs....it doesn't matter if yu want to lose 10lbs or 100 lbs or if it's just to get that post pregnancy weight off <even if you kids are now 5 & 7... emoticon> Let me know....I want to hear from you.

Well today isthe day!!!! Aug 1 and will hit cardio 1 tonight Ill try to get some starting pics and judge by that as I have no scales. Ive started modifing my diet and can feel the difference its better in this heat and no Ive not seen a camel spider yet dont want too Im scared of all spiders LOL Drinking alot of water does anyone have a tip or advise on gatoraid Take care and good luck to all Grego

Yeahhhhh!!! Day 1 finally here.

Did sculpt 1/2 this morning and was feeling great!! I pushed pause about 2/3 times but that was only to get the mat for the push-ups. Couldn't do too many of those bcs of my knees but I'm looking forward to getting stronger at it!!!

Grego - Becareful on the Gatorade bcs it has a lot of sugar in it....you don't want to hinder your results!!!

Thanks for the reply. Of course I will let you help me, I can use all the motivation I can get. I did do all my workouts last week and took sunday off. I even got up early saturday to get my workout in before we started our day. I was proud of myself for doing that.

Just wanted to check in on you!! Sounds like your first workout went well!! Great job!! You will build strength with those push ups!! They get easier!

You asked about Curves?! I go 3-5 times a week! I LOVE it! It only take 30 minutes to do the whole workout. It is not a tough workout and I enjoy the friendly faces as much as anything else! I am a very social creature!!

I am so excited for you that you have started the workouts!! I hope you LOVE them!

Have a great day and keep up that great attitude! You are going to do awesome!

Wow just finished day 2 sculpt 1/2 thought Id move on to 3/4 soon WRONG! then came round 3 had to drop to my knees on pushups! Ill be here for a few weeks LoL

This is my first go with P90, but I have Si6 which I've tried 2x latest was last year about this time but stopped because I found out I was pregnant. And being 37 & high risk scared me, but that's a whole nother story!

Hubby has had P90 for several years, but don't think he ever really did it for long, as the 3/4 tapes are still in the shrink wrap!! emoticon

I thought earlier in the day I was doing great, but I have started to stiffen up. This should be fun tomorrow, as I actually have to go into work.

Keep Pushin' everybody! Can't wait to hear how it goes for everyone tomorrow.

Hi Tiffany - Melissa - and everyone else on this thread.
So you want to know what I am eating....
Breakfast I have 2 eggs w\onions-green peppers and ham with 2 pcs of whole wheat toast and a glass of 1% milk or I will have a bowl of Oatmeal crisp w\raisins cereal. (This cereal was on the list of cereals that are good for you and higher in fiber.)

Snack-I will have an apple and 2 slices of deli turkey if I have cereal in the morning -- just to get some protein in there.

Lunch-I have 2 slices of whole wheat bread with 3 to 4 slice of deli turkey 1\2 tsp lowfat mayo and some mustard or I will have a salad sometimes.

Dinner I will usually have a chicken breast with long grain wild rice and a vegtable (green beans or peas or something) and a glass of 1% milk.

Snack-sometimes after dinner I might have a small little cup of orange fat free sherbert or a popsicle.

I don't think that I am eating to bad. I will sometimes have a diet coke during the day but thats about it, I don't drink anything else during the day except 5 to 6 glasses of water.

Well what do you think???? emoticon I probably could improve somewhere but I know that its a whole lot better than I use to eat. We go for breakfast on the week-ends so I will say I do allow myself a cheat meal here and there but I figure one cheat meal here and there is better than a cheat meal all day everyday.

So what is everyone else eating. I guess I was wondering how everyone is getting there protein in there morning meals without having eggs all the time. I really don't like protein shakes and I am out of ideas on that right now. If I have cereal thats why I will eat some turkey slices about and hour or so after that so I at least get some protein in there for breakfast.

Anyway still going strong on the workouts but hate the yoga in the beginning of cardio. Oh well.....off to push play today.
