Roughly, how many calories does ten minute trainer burn?

Not much. TMT is great if you're trying to work a muscle group or as something to do when you don't have time to do a whole workout, but if your primary goal is to burn calories, I'd look to a longer more cardio intense workout.

Stringing three TMTs together might get you 300 calories, provided you worked them hard.

Okay, this is bothersome.

Why is the program marketed as a program to that will get you in shape if it doesn't burn many calories. The infomercial clearly has people who *claimed* (and I use the word loosely) to have used this product and got results. To say, I would have to do more intense cardio to burn calories is a bit contradictory to the marketing of the product.

Will you please explain?

Frankly, I haven't seen the promos. I'm just trying to provide honest help.

300 calories in 30 minutes isn't bad at all, but 60-70 minutes would be better.

I'll send this to my boss and we'll see what he says.

It's because there is more to reshaping your body than calorie expenditure per minute. Like Denis said, it has a high calorie expenditure per minute, but you don't work a lot of minutes. But that is not really how bodies are reshaped. That happens due to tissue breakdown and the rebuilding process, which alters your metabolism. So what TMT does is to alter your metabolism, due to breakdown, so that you burn more calories at rest. So while you might only burn 150 cals during a workout. If you do enough work you'll body will need to raise its metabolic process to aid recovery. And easier, say, 2 hour workout that causes little breakdown will not facilitate the same metabolic changes.

Our workouts are all about efficiency. I wrote an article about this. It's in the archives.

Reesy,

Did you ever find the calories burned per session with TMT? I can't find them. Help if you can!

Mike.

Mike -

Have a look through this thread. It explains the calories burned about the best it can be explained.
