I also suffered many setbacks along the way. Most recently I was in the Mayo clinic for 2 weeks and my baby son had surgery; Sometimes life throws you a curveball here and there. But the fact that you care enough to keep trying, the fact that you can aknowledge where you went wrong, that puts you ahead of most people.
You have succeeded in the past by losing 32 pounds, so you know you can do it. What you did once will happen again !!!
I also had the priviledge of meeting TH and his enthusiasm is contagious. Don't ever look back at all other than to take the positive things, like that experience with TH, as motivation. When you look back , you can't see what's ahead of you, which is success in a brand New Year.
Due to what happened to me and my son recently, I had to put P90 on hold for a while and I felt terrible too. My wife who started the program right before all this and who looked to me to motivate her, also was down on herself for not keeping up. Finally I said to her and to myself..."do you see how we have changed? years ago we wouldn't care at all if we failed at a program like this. But it bothers us now...it irritates us and THAT is the key." Just like a grain of sand "irritates" the oyster to form the pearl so too must we use that irritation to make something great.
TonyM is the best. That guy helped me with such kind generosity and I only met him briefly in Kauai. Look to these boards and to people like him for support and if I can ever help you, please let me know.
I am with all of you here and plan on starting as a team, full-force on Monday.
And here's a Hindu quote from and Italian guy in NY:
" There is nothing noble in being superior to someone else. The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self."
Let's all rock it !!!
