Any Hardgainers out there? We're Nick and Mike and we've been called the "Skinny Guys" for almost all our life. That is...until NOW!

Together we have over 5 rounds of p90x under our belt.

Come on in and let us help you transform from the SCRAWNY to the BRAWNY.

But we could still help to turn you from Flabby to Fit as well!

Any surfers or outdoor junkies out there, stop by and say hi.

Also, Nick won the February 2009 MDB game – the first skinny guy to win. You could be next! There’s hope!

I grew up surfing as I lived in Florida, and continued in the Marines surfing in North Carolina. I now live in Wisconsin and miss the Ocean every day. Just to be able to hop on my old 6' Quiet Flight thruster and make peace with mother nature for a little while... I am jealous.

Next time its good, ride one for me.

Land locked in Wisconsin.

I don't think people truly understand how true that statement is. I feel for you man, I tell my gf all the time...instead of going to therapy, I surf. The ocean is the best therapist anyone could ask for.

How far are you into p90x?

Great results!

and def. jealous of your SD location and surfing stories.

I grew up in SD in Chula Vista... 12.5 years... moved to GA and now AL so I got a little bit of fun with the gulf but go to school out of state in WV for the last four years and there is no waves in WV haha. Just wind and snow and some fun snowboarding. Hoping to pick up surfing now that I'm by some water again! But there is no place better then SD and I hope to get back there one day!

Keep bringing it with the X!!!

Hey Beth,

Good to hear from a former SD native...I myself grew up in New York so in some way, I envy YOU.

How's the surfing in AL?

How long have you been a BB coach?

Hey there,

I'm a cold water surfer from Canada, grew up surfing in Newfoundland, island on the east coast of Canada. Fantastic big waves, if you don't mind water temps of 32F.

I don't prone surf anymore, but I do standup paddlesurf the smaller waves here in New Brunswick, and Maine.

Just started P90X over a week ago. Already seeing results, it's awesome.

TBurt, How do you like paddleboarding? I always see them out in the water and wonder if it's any fun. What thickness wetsuit do you need for 32F water??? Also, post your pics so we can see the before and day 30 results. I find that posting your pictures for others to see will keep you motivated and accountable.

Surf1983, the paddleboarding is fun, it's a great workout, works every muscle in your body and really improves your balance. I do a lot of flat water paddling as well. Most of the surf we get here in New Brunswick is knee high so the paddleboard is awesome for riding the small stuff. I don't get really wet anymore either. I wear an Ocean Rodeo Pyro Surf (www.oceanrodeo.com) drysuit in the winter, spring and fall, and a shorty in the summer.

I've been slack with the photos, I'll try and get them done today.

Man, your results on the P90X are impressive. Nice work.

Cheers

Hey everyone. This is my first time posting on this forum and I'm also a first timer on the p90x program. I'm on week 2 day 2 of the classic program. This looked like the perfect place for me to post because most people usually consider me skinny but I'm in pretty bad shape and want to get in great shape like the rest of you here.

I'm male, age 26, 6'1 and weigh 155lbs. I'm not necessarily fat but I'm not in good shape by any means. I'm new to the whole P90X nutrition plan and I've been eating very healthy since I started this program... but it seems I'm only eating about 2000 calories a day (at most) and I guess I should be having 2700 (for level II). I'm not sure I can eat that much! Should I be eating that much? And should I modify the nutrition plan since I don't really need to loss that much fat... I really want to gain muscle. Any advice?
