The 'jock' that used to be me is waiting for me at the end of this quest. Meanwhile I'm looking forward to saying goodbye to my sleep apnea, and the end of diabetic routines. My doctor says all of that is possible. LET'S GO.

Now that I've figured out how to post my pictures...ugggh.....the shame of it all is a foregone conclusion. There's nothing left but to take care of business now.

Meanwhile, here's my starting measurements:

scale: 310
chest: 51
upper arm: 16
waist: 56
hips: 50
thigh: 22.5

pant size: 52
[well, that's what it says on the label]

Gotta a long way to go. I would be available to share motivation on a daily basis, but every couple of days is fine too.

Posting pictures of my flabby body is a big step for me, and since I found out I'm diabetic, I have TREMENDOUS MOTIVATION to shed the weight.

Since everyone knows it's easier to achieve this type of goal with BUDDIES along for the ride, I'm looking for as many as I can get. "Checking in" once a week just won't get it done for me.
So if you're reading this and you feel like I do...then join me.

4life - Great job posting your pics. When are you starting you workouts? Did you receive your TMT yet? I am on day 8 and loving it. I can see how using 2-3 workouts a day and eating clean will really help you get to your goal. I'll be back to check on you!

I've done 2 roundsof P90X and will be starting TMT on the 21st of July.

Keep comming to the boards for support,contact your coach,if you have doubts or questions...It really helps. emoticon

I finished P90X and thought I would share some wisdom about losing weight. Im 52 and I lost 30 pounds during 90 days of P90X. went from 198 to 167.

I had a hard time sticking to the diet plan in the book, but if you can stick to the diet plan prescribed. Great people here and Tony is awesome.

Heres what I did.

1. fully committed to the excerise program
2. no beer (this one was tuff! haha)
3. only drank water (morning coffee-black)
4. no sweets
5. no white bread - only whole wheat bread
6. try to eat something every 2 hours fruit, tuna, enegry bar, V8 juice etc..
7. smaller portions at each meal
8. whole grain cereal for breakfast. I like Cheerios with a banana -2% milk

Haven't received my workout yet but am aniticpating it's arrival. Of course I just ordered it yesterday. Ha!
By the time I get mine you will be so far into your workouts already and seeing results and I will be just begininning... but your results will only inspire me. I will be here to cheer you along and encourage you. I have used some of the programs in the past but it's been a long time and I fell so far off the wagon it went off and left me for a while. So I am catching the next one by which is the 10 minute Trainer. WOOHOOOO! So let us know how your workouts are going.... remember when you start to lose motivation check in to get back in trackemoticon

This stuff really works. Everyone knows motivation is great AND necessary. But everyone knows that it wanes too. I come here and read what you wonderful people have written, and my motivation level soars again.

You're up early 4LIFE.........does that mean you just pushed play????????

I just finished bringing it with Cardio and Yoga. This was my 10th day w/o and this will complete my 10 day lean jean plan. I will measure and weigh tomorrow and let you all know how it worked. Tomorrow will be a rest day....yeah........it's time after 10 days straight! Talk to yall later.

No, Lizzybear...I just actually haven't gone to bed yet -- I work a late shift at my job-- and this isn't unusual for me as I have a sleep apnea. I don't usually sleep until I can't keep my eyes open any longer. It's not til that point that I can get any sleep. We're talking 5 a.m. PST,usually. When I do wake up, I am at that point, PUSHIN PLAY. emoticon

CONGRATS on finishing the L J P. Can't wait to hear your results!

Good Morning All - Today is my day off, after 10 days straight this feels good. I will be starting the 4 wk rotation tomorrow. How's everyone else doing.

4LIFE, GOOD JOB ON MAKING A COMMITTMENT!Have you started yet? I just got my TMT yesterday and started today. I loved it, ALOT! Just the best you can and then forget the rest. It will get easier cause its definitely challenging. Checking in everyday works! We are all here to help each other!

Reesy - I ate most of what was on the list. I tried to follow it as closely as possible. I don't like salmon so I subbed with another fish I enjoy. I don't like some of the veggies so I just sub with a GREEN veggie that I like. I found out I didn't like cottage cheese so I subbed yogart for that. See where I'm going with this? It was a very easy plan to follow.

FLASH !! Budha Belly meets the Endurance Kid !

...and loses. That's right, I am now able to handle TWO FULL WORKOUTS !! Til today I was adding [by pushing myself like crazy] 1 or 2 more minutes each day on each second workout. Got thru no problem today. However the ABS workout is a different story. That one is gonna be my ongoing challenge for the rest of the 10 days.

Okay, I'm soaking wet, so I'll sign off til tommorrow at the latest and go enjoy a nice cold one.
