How do I enter the contest for the $1,000 and $10,000 winners? I’ve been doing P90X for 9 weeks now. I took a before picture and will take an after picture when I’m done. I was just curious. Thanks.

Hi There!
Will you PLEASE SOMETIME DO AN ARTICLE on High Fructose Corn Syrup!!!! I have a book that says it is “chemically” altered food, but if you have been watching TV lately, you will see that they have put several different commercials on tv that CLAIM that High Fructose Corn Syrup is JUST a really sweet “Natural” food and that if you don’t believe them you should go to a web site called SWEET SURPRISE!! WILL YOU PLEASE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS?
Thanks, Sally

Oddly enough, that site is run by the makers of the cheapest sweetener in the world. We do have this on our calender, so keep reading the newsletters. And don't be fooled by the ads. While a small amount of HFCS won't kill you, that's not a good reason for it to be added to thousands of different foods. Its bottom line looks fairly benign, as it's a combination of sucrose and fructose. What this doesn't tell you is just how this stuff is made. It's like the difference between low grade and high grade meat, perhaps even more so. If you're not signed up for the newsletter, go here:

Just wanted to say - Love the recipe ideas! I've also found that one
way to make "guacamole" dip healthy is to substitute the guacamole
with Edamame - yum!

While this sounds healthy I'm not sold that it would replace guacamole for me. But maybe I just can't get my head around the concept. Btw, avacadoes are very healthy as they're one of the very best sources of fatty acids. Their own downside is calories. Like most fat sources, they're loaded with 'em.

Here's a great "healthy" cocktail:
1 oz. Cointreau, Triple Sec or other orange liqueur
1 oz. Citrus Vodka
4 oz. pink grapefruit juice
Put in a shaker and shake; you can use a candied pink grapefruit slice for garnish, if you wish.
================================
Healthy, I guess, is within reason. This certainly isn't too bad, but it's still got a fair amount of sugar. More than a couple could lead to a nasty hangover. I suppose it would be very similar with plain vodka as well.
That's it for tonight. Hopefully, a few of you can attend the "radio" show.
Cheers,
Steve
