I have started and stopped and started and stopped more times that I can recall!

I know Im not the only one out there! Ive been doing really good getting up and working out every morning but really need the support to push the rest of the way thru the summer!

I LOVE ChaLEAN Extreme and I am determined to do all 90 days!!

So if anyone is out there who is looking for someone to push play with or just wants to stop by and give motivation Ill be here!!!

Now...more information about me emoticon

I am 36 from Maine, married for 3 years to a great guy, and I have 2 kids 13 - Austin and 14 - Mikayla.

I work full time Monday - Friday 7 - 4pm so really the only time I will make myself workout without finding every reason not to is first thing in the morning. So that's what Ive been doing waking up bright and early at 4:30AM!!!! It actually isnt as bad as people make it out to be. But if I try to leave my work out for the evening I am either to tired, or the kids have to go here or there...you get the point. But the morning is my time where I focus on me!

Now for the tough stuff I weigh 230lbs now. Lost around 20lbs of and on over the last year but pretty much STUCK around 230! I plan on taking all my measurements and post them on Sunday and keep doing it weekly.

Hi Silver! I will be starting right around the same time you will be! I just ordered mine and it shipped out yesterday. I am doing a challenge through a local Beachbody coach and I also ordered the Berry Shakeology for a quick lunch option. I am 36 years old and live in Indiana. I have been married for going on 11 years and I have a 9 year old daughter named Kendall. She has been working out with me if I find time in the evenings but like you, if I don't do it early in the morning, it is hard to get it in. I am plan on doing both ChaLean Extreme and Turbo Jam. I weigh in at 130 lbs right now and I am 5'3 inches. I lost quite a bit of weight last year when my husband was diagnosed with diabetes which caused us to change the way we eat. I am slowly seeing my weight creep back up so I am trying to stop it before it gets out of hand again. I look forward to working out with you!

Welcome! I hope you enjoy ChaLean Extreme I really did the first time I did it! Im planning on just doing the first few weeks just doing Extreme and then Ill probably incorporate in Turbo Jam as well...but trying not to over due it. Really dont want to burn myself out and give up half way thru.

Hi Silver and tsheetz...

I'll also be starting CLX on Monday, July 2. I generally work out around 430 am as well (PST). Just finishing up BBL here, I did 6 wks not 8, but it's time to move on. I'm planning on doing a CLX insanity hybrid just so I get some cardio in there to burn a few extra calories.

I started on Tuesday, the 26th so am just a few days ahead of the rest of you. I am posting on another thread as well, but it's nice to have several options to keep the motivation going. I have done CLX once before, but only made it through the Burn Phase. This time I am fully committed to 90 days.

I am in Arizona, but on Pacific time right now. I usually try to get up around 5:30 to do my workout. Same here, if I don't do it first thing I will find a reason not to.

I'm 49 and have lost 55 pounds with BB since last April or May. I need lots of toning and have some definite flab to get rid of, and I'd like to drop another 10-15 pounds with this program.

Today was Day 4 for me. I didn't take a rest day on Day 2 as is recommended. I did Chalene's Fat Burner Challenge and that was rough!! Then today was Burn Intervals, actually my favorite workout when I did this last fall. It was very difficult to make it all the way through today. I really haven't been on a workout regimen since about October. I started Tuesday with no weights at all, and I did Burn 2 yesterday with only 2 pounds. Baby steps to get me back where I need to be.

Hey ladies - I want to join in! I am starting today... did the fit test this morning and will do my first Burn Circuit later.

I would prefer to work out in the morning like the rest of you, but I already get up at 4:30 am for work and I really don't want to get up any earlier than that! I've done it once or twice and it was rough!! My kids are grown so I don't have any excuses not to do it after work. That said, I'm hoping the accountability of posting on the site will keep me motivated!

I'm 41, married with 2 boys (22 and 19). I started P90X last fall and made it through 60 days before life got in the way... and then I just didn't have the motivation to get going again. Instead, I was motivated to be lazy and eat (and drink) far too many calories. I've gained almost 10 pounds since January. I'm looking to lose those 10 and get lean with Chalean!! emoticon

Hi Yall~
I was planning on starting ChaLean Extreme tomorrow. I have tried Insanity and P90x but never seem to be able to commit the whole 90 days. It is time to change my life. I gained about 35 pounds 2 years ago and have yet to be able to get it off. I definitely have an addiction to food that I need to break also. A little about me... I am 29 years old with a 4 year old son. I remarried a little over 2 years ago and moved 1300 miles from my family and friends. I gained about 20 pounds in just a few months. I really want to have another baby soon but I want to be healthy before I do. I REALLY need the accountability of other women. I look forward to starting this 90 day journey with yall.

Happy Sunday!
Today was Day 6 for me, Burn it Off and Recharge. The burn it off is pretty intense cardio. I actually had to pause once to catch my breath and towel off. I definitely need to build up my stamina for those cardio workouts. Recharge is yoga and stretching, which I hate, but I have been quite sore so I probably needed it.

I did Ab Burner yesterday after Burn 3, was supposed to do it on the Burn Interval day. But I was SPENT from burn intervals I just could not do another exercise. I almost picked extreme abs, but I am so glad I didn't. My abs are definitely feeling it today.

Tomorrow is my rest day, looking forward to it! I can't wait to read everyone's news and reports on their first day and see how y'all like the program!

Keep pushing play, every day!

Well getting up and working out didnt happen like I was hoping for. I got a nasty chest cold on Thursday and its been kicking my butt all weekend! emoticon

However it doesnt get to win tomorrow morning. I AM waking up and pushing play I am really looking forward to starting and will not let a little cough derail me emoticon

So i took my measurements tonight (NOT a thrilling thing to do I must say) but at least it gives me a starting point and something to work for!

Its great to see you all here and looking forward to hearing how your workouts and days went tomorrow emoticon

Wow...

This morning I did get up and I did push play but wishing I didnt go so hard Im feeling it now and not in a good kinda way. Im still not over this cold. But Im glad I got up and pushed play it felt good in the moment at least LOL and now I have all day at the office to recuperate. Worked so hard I even needed my inhaler this morning LOL

I didnt go as heavy as I did the last round but I did as much as I felt I could do.

I forgot how much I HATE the sumo squats and leg raises just for the fact that you have to scoot your feet in and then lift your legs up...it's the scooting part that KILLS my knees.

And I was able to do 4 push up with the leg raises and I wasnt able to do that the first 2 weeks last time so that made me happy.

So now Im at work sipping my yummy shakeology and going to try very hard to keep my calories around 1300 - 1500 today

@Stephanie Marie - How'd your first day go? emoticon

I did my first Burn Circuit 1 yesterday afternoon, using the same weight for all exercises to keep things relatively light and not get too sore. I was able to do all the reps on everything (though most of the pushups were on my knees). This morning, everything hurts. LOL! A rest day on day 2 isn't such a bad idea after all. I will walk with my coworkers at lunchtime though. That should help a bit.

I'm looking forward to Burn Circuit 2 tomorrow!

I am working out this afternoon. I am a stay at home mom and my son sleeps during that time. I am not a morning person AT ALL. I am going to do my best to work my way into getting up earlier. I will post when I finish my workout today. Thank you for the accountability. You guys inspire me. Way to go to all of you for finishing your workouts today. emoticon

I worked out today at 4:30 pm. Tomorrow I am going to go for a walk. I am also doing the 17 day diet with Shakeology to get a jumpstart on some weightloss. Wow this Burn circuit 1 is really hard. I used really light weights or none at all. I am really excited to complete this program. Thank yall in advance for your support. We can do thisemoticon

Hi all! I restarted CLX today and I feel GREAT! I did all but the last 2 weeks of CLX last year, and I LOVED how my arms looked then! Combined with Weight Watchers and running, I lost 30 lbs last year. I've since gained about 5 lbs back, and gotten very lax in my running. Who am I kidding? I gave up. I haven't done any exercise-related task for about 6 weeks now. But I'm back now, and I'm ready to do this! Looking forward to this journey!

My only problem....I can't find my calendar from when I did this last year, so I don't remember when I'm supposed to do what! I'm going to wing it though....I'll figure it out!

Hey everyone,
Today was Day 7 and my first rest day. Much needed as my shoulders are still really sore. Ready to hit Week 2 tomorrow!
Meghan: Burn 1, rest, Burn 2, Burn Intervals and Ab Burner, Burn 3, Burn it off and Recharge, then rest again on Day 7. Hope this helps for Phase 1 at least.
Melissa, I hate that sumo, walk-in and leg raise too. Probably one of my least favorite moves.
Stephanie Marie, what is the 17 day diet? I've done the shakeology cleanse (3-6 days) a few times with good results. I do have to watch that I get enough calories esp with a program like CLX or I'll get dizzy during workouts.
So glad we are a nice active board! It helps me too coming here daily and being accountable.
