OK so I have been using the Chocolate one for a few weeks for breakfast. It is really really good but I am absolutly STARVING after about an hour. I use nonfat milk and ice in mine. I think I will try some soymilk and see if that helps. Any other suggestions? Keep in mind that I don't want to be drinking a ton of calories for breakfast.

That could be your problem, your body has been at a fast for roughly 6-8 hours depending on how long you slept. And if you don't eat a big enough breakfast you are going to be hungry a few hours after you eat it, And you should be eating every 2-3 hours anyways! emoticon. Just the nonfat milk and shakeology is a mere 210 calories. You can spice that up a bit and add some natural peanut butter or almond butter, and that may keep you full longer with the little bit of added healthy fat! I hope this helps and I love my shakeology btw, I am rockin the chocolate! =)

There is no reason that you'd be any hugrier than eating 200 cals of anything else. Most, in fact (myself included) are less hungry, per cal, than anything else because of the diverse nutrient content. And, like trapt said, you should be eating ever few hours so it's okay to be hungry because you're going to eat again soon anyway.

So, my questions are, how is this different from your normal morning regime? Have you changed your exercise since beginning Shakeology? How many cals do you normally eat for breakfast and what do they consist of?

I can make recipe suggestions if more cals are called for, as can many other people here I'm sure. But since we're trying to improve your diet we need to know what we're working with.

Well I am positive that it's a calorie thing, I need to add more calories to the shake but don't want to go overboard with it and yes while I could go to the store and look on the shelves at cal content and so forth and figure our what would make the most sense to add I thought it would be easier to just ask on the forum for suggestions. My exercise is the same as before Run 3 1/2 miles a day and I do P90X. I used to eat about 300 cal or so for breakfast before the shake, so I am sure I just need more calories. I am just wanted some suggestions on what to add that is not high cals that may help make me feel fuller. Yes I do eat every 2 to 3 hours. I have a body bugg so my calories burned and calories eaten are all dialed in perfectly.

Could anyone fill me in on what is the Body Bugg. Also, have people seen great results with the shakeology without taking the other supps or are people still taking both?

Please inform!!!

The body bugg is a device you wear on your arm that calculates calories burned. you can google it and find their web site. Everyone on the biggest loser wears one. Then you go online and log all your food and you can see if you have a deficit for the day or not. It's really made me dial everything in and make it really easy to see when I need to move more in order to be where I want to be each day. I have lost 11 lbs so far with this and P90X which if you love extreme workouts is the best one available that I have seen besides cathe's new one shock training.

Suggestions to add to shakeology. You could add some fruit, blueberries are always a good choice, strawberries, and some good fats would be a perfect addition to it. Some natural peanut butter, if you have chocolate, I add Natural peanut butter to it and make a pudding out of it, sometimes I let it set and it tastes like heaven to me! If you want some ideas I could lay some out for you, or you could browse the forum! But I am pretty sure you are hungry due to not enough calories First thing after your body has been at a fast all night.

That is what I figured but was jut hoping to get some easy suggestions to make me feel fuller and not add allot of xtra calories. Thanks for the suggestions. I have been browsing and it looks like maybe if I use soy or rice milk that may be better also. So I will try and see what happens.

I'm having the same problem. I've made sure I"m eating the same amount of calories as I did with my old meal replacement shake...I'm still starving after wards. I'm going to hold off a few weeks though...it might be TTOM making me want to eat everything in site or the fact that my work out changed...but the weird thing is that it changed from more to less since I just finished CLX and I some down time before starting something else.

I looked at the fat grams on the natural peanut butter and they were about 16 grams per Tablespoon - is that too many to add to the Shakeology and still have it be low in calories?

There are a couple of additions I like.

Non-fat ricotta adds a moderate amt of calories and a bunch of protein. It tastes great and makes the shake even thickerer. (Does anyone remember the old Chunky candy bar commercials?)

I will also add oats (uncooked oatmeal) and blend it up to add some good carbs and fiber.

Enjoy!

Before I learned about Shakeology I would blend 1 banana with a tablespoon of peanut butter and a quarter cup of oats with about 8-10 oz of skim milk. I put the banana in this morning with the chocolate and it was pretty good. I just worried about adding too much fat and wondered if I was getting too much when I made the other smoothie in the morning.

Been using shakeology for five days now. This morning made my shake with unsweetened almond milk and strawberries, and I'm starving.
