I am just starting P90X and want to get the nutrition part right. According to the calculations in the book I should be consuming 3200 calories/day. Can anyone give me solid numbers on daily goals for grams of fat, saturated fat, protein, carbohydrates, Dietary Fiber I should aim for? These values are listed on everything so easy to find and calculate no matter what/where I eat.

Thanks

Actually, you're supposed to round down, so that's 3000 calories.

The breakdowns for protein, fat and carbs are on page two of the nutrition guide. Sat fat should be no more than 30% of your total fats. Fiber should be at least 25g.

A lot of people have been asking for the gram in 90x lately. I'm going to do the math for all three phases and post it later today.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response.

Just in case the link get's broke for future readers, here's the math:

Take the Phase I Level III plan:
3000 calories at 50% protein, 30% carbs, 20% fat
Mix in some facts:
1 gram of protein = 4 calories
1 gram of carbohydrates = 4 calories
1 gram of fat = 9 calories
Stir vigorously:
Protein = (3000 cal * 0.50) / 4 g/cal
Carbs = (3000 cal * 0.3) / 4 g/cal
Fat = (3000 cal * 0.2) / 9 g/cal
And enjoy:
Protein – 375g
Carbs – 225g
Fat – 67g
