Mr. Kicking my Butt(AKA Shaun T) emoticon

I am now on day two of the recovery week with one month under my belt. Scared to death for what is coming in month 2. LOL! I lost a bunch of weight before starting Insanity. I am 6'5 and went from 279 to 230 in about 13 weeks. Started Insanity weighing 230 and I now weigh 216. Have lost 14 pounds but still not seeing much body tone. Will month 2 be what gets me to that point? I have heard other people say it does. Thanks for all you do and I will be a graduate of INSANITY very soon. Oh and BTW "THIS SHIT IS BANANA'S YO!!

Hi Shaun T!! I had started Insanity as soon as it arrived but I was in the middle of a bad sinus cold and stopped working out just 4 days into the 1st week sadly. I was on Phentermine (appetite suppressant RX) at the same time and couldn't eat what my body needed to "keep up". I am well now and plan on restarting in 2 days, the thing is, my appetite is still dead emoticon Any suggestions? I don't get light headed when I work out, I drink plenty of water before, during, & after my workouts, and I eat 4-6 small meals per day as tolerated, sometimes a protein smoothie, chef salad, chicken 1/4, yogurt, or protein shakes. I also take a prenatal vitamin in case I'm lacking anything in my diet. Cutie Juice* Protein Power* is my HERO when it comes to nutrition I must admit. You would think with all the material we receive with the Insanity kit, there'd be no questions left to ask, but I have one more aside from the nutrition one. I'm wondering why I became so sore from the fit test, but felt NO soreness or pain from week 1? Am I doing something wrong? I was only out of breath and sweatin my A$$ OFF!!! That's got to be GOOD right?

Hello,

My name is Daphne and I went from 156 to 115 doing insanity and other BB Programs, I am trying to get those last 10 pounds off to get a ripped stomach. I just finished Insanity Asylum in the morning and Rev abs in the PM. Could I possibly be doing too much and that Is why i'm not seeing the results. I eat 1500 cals a day! Any tips?

My name is Amanda. I stared insanity last month when I first started, but got called away to do my three weeks with the military interrupted my workout. I want to start the 60 day challenge again, but it's harder to get motivated the 2nd time around. I have to work tonight or I'd join your live chat tonight. I want to get into shape, better shape than what I am now for myself, my fiance who is over in afghanistan right now, and my military career. I have discipline and the word quit isn't in my vocabulary, the army instilled both values into me, but I a also human and I know I can do this but I also know I can't do it alone. Any suggestions on how to keep pushing when I want to stop?

Any update on the Asylum Vol.2 release date? Can't wait to get started. The Olympics has inspired me so much I've been doing Game Day 3 times a week while I'm waiting!!

Also how did you get that V-taper in your upper body? My little brother has just finished Insanity. He's looks leaner but he really wants that V taper like you Shaun. Especially the muscle you have in your side/lat region. He has mass in his arms and defined abs but he's straight down from his shoulders to his hips. Is that genes? Or will all the pull-ups in Asylum help him. He's 21, 6' and 165.

I would just love to say that you have made a big impact in my life since March of this year!! I started with Insanity, ran a Half Marathon, now I am taking on Asylum, and ran a 5 mile run.
In my life years ago this would have never happened if I didn't order Insanity I don't know where I would be right now. I have also ordered Shaun T's Fit Kid Club for my kids, and they love it.
Asylum is pushing me so hard that I am literally yelling in my home and sweating more then ever. I am enjoying pushing myself hard everyday and changing my lifestyle for the BETTER.
Thanks to the determination I have with this workout, I am mad if I miss a day because I feel like I didn't accomplish anything.
Thank you again, for the yelling on the dvd's the pushing, the impact of trying not to give up and pushing harder every workout. You are my teacher and the on person who has pushed me everyday to get up and dig deeper. I don't know you in person, but one day I hope to meet the person who helped me get off my butt and do something with my life.

A BIG THANK YOU from a Alaskan fan!!

What do you recommend doing after 60 days of insanity. Have 2 kids one 3 and one 7 months and trying to lose 30 lbs. Just started week 3 of insanity and wonder should I continue aftre 60 days or take a break and do other workouts and come back to it.

Hey Shaun, thanks for your great programs. They have put me in the best shape of my life. I know you play tennis. I play a lot of tennis as well and was just wondering what the Asylum workouts have done for your game? Would love to play you some time. You are bigger than me, would like to see how that helps you, or not. Hehe. Come up to Canada for a match any time.

I am on the second week of month 2 Insanity. I get sharp pain in the muscles running above my ankles on the inner side of each leg, right up until the calf starts. I can't seem to find a stretch to stretch them out properly. What can I do to relieve the pain, it is crippling my abilty to do my workouts at max?

I just finish my 2nd month of Insanity! ^^ I was wondering if I could email you the before/after pixs instead of mailing it for the Insanity shirt? Also, what do I do after I finish my 2nd month, do I just repeat it over again and again to be stronger and be more lean? Please let me know ASAP, thank you!

Hi Shaun T. I'm in Recovery Week right now. I've lost a total of 14 pounds so far and I'm loving the extra energy. I'm 34 years old, 6'1", and currently 240 pounds. I love basketball. I have a membership to the Y that I haven't used in quite a while. I usually do my workouts in the early AM. When I have off days during the week, I've thought about going to the gym at noon to play basketball. But I change my mind because I fear that I'll use up too much energy and won't want to get up to do my workout that next morning. Do you think I should wait to get back into basketball after I finish these 60 days of Insanity or should I go ahead and try to incorporate basketball into my fitness now?

I just started doing Insanity and Asylum together one in the morning and one at night do you think this is too much work for the body, am i pushing it too much, could it have bad consequences? I have ran through both programs individually already.

Also is there going to be a Insanity Certification like with P90X?

I am on day two of the insanity program and I did the insanity equation to find out how many calories I need to eat and it came out to 1320 per day. As I read on it told me if I want to lose weight, I need to minus 500 calories. So should I be eating only 820 calories a day? I am 34 years old, starting weight 125 and height 5 feet. I stuck to it yesterday but wondering if this is right? Please help!

Hi, I'm on my last week of the Insanity Program. My height is about 5'6 and I started at the weight of 185, and am now about 170. I have definitely had some great results since starting insanity, but I still need more work. I'm not sure what I should do next. I thought about repeating the insanity program, but am not sure if that will be beneficial. I know insanity is the hardest workout program out there and am therefore afraid that if I try a different program I will lose the strength I have gained from insanity. What do you think I should do?
