Hi everyone. I am about to start a second round of P90X on September 3. If you'd like to start this challenge/accountability group with me and get the support you need to complete it, join me. I have successfully dropped 55 lbs and my goal is now to get a bit more toned.

The holidays are coming up and I sure want to be in the best shape possible. emoticon

Our countdown begins! I'm very excited to embark on this journey once again.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind while we get ready:

1- Make sure you set your schedule in the SuperGym (WOWY) it takes several steps but it'll help you with your workout schedule

2- As far as food. Follow the meal plan that comes with P90X. If you find it a bit difficult, send me a message and I can help you figure it out. Here are a few tips for food:
a- Eat "clean" foods which means non-processed foods.
b- Limit one treat per week and not a whole "cheat day". I use the word "treat" as a reward and not the word "cheat"
c- Empty your cupboards of junk food, if you don't have it at home, you will be less tempted to eat junk
d- Try eliminating one junk food per week, you can try sodas the first week, sugar the following week, etc.,

3- Participate as often as possible and ask questions. I'm here to support you.

Another thing is I will be giving away a prize based on participation.

There you have it! Welcome to your challenge emoticon

Hi Veronica,

Thanks for starting a Sept 3rd thread.

I'm in Seattle, usually work out in the morning. I will also be running at least two days a week. Not exactly running - jogging around having fun, but still - 1,500 to 2,000 calories per outing

Day 1 - C & B - w/ ARX - done. Seriously modified ARX - only 15 reps each, that's ok.

Going to use Livestrong to track meals. Aimimg for 2,400 cal/day. I'd like to get 1,000 calories by noon, then the rest of the day is easy, a couple of snacks and dinner. I push a lot of chicken, tuna fish and nuts, of course a full salad and veggies with dinner.

On my way to my favorite - the post workout omlete.

Best of luck.

Hello Veronica!

I'm in! Though, I can't say I will be starting today as I had started round one yesterday haha. Today will be Plyometrics for me, actually not long from now emoticon As for the Junk food, been trying to eliminate it for awhile and doing pretty good.

Sometime though, it's hard to stay away from the fatty foods as I work at my local Subway restaurant, and with my employee meals, not all the sandwiches are exactly healthy BUT I've been cutting back on some of the condiments and seasonings. Considering I get a free 6 inch sandwich every day that I work there, maybe you can make a healthy suggestion?

Anyway, another thing that I'm happy for is that I used to drink a LOT of cola such as Pepsi, two 2L bottles a day at times to be exact. So, I've cut that back to roughly about maybe 2 glasses per week? and everything else that I drink being MAINLY water, and a little bit of milk each day. Still a lot to do with my food choices, but I'll be sure to try my hardest to bring in the nutritional stuff emoticon

I already have the P90X auto-scheduled into the SuperGym (WOWY), AND I check back at TeamBeachbody EVERY day to see what's new and what everyone has to say. Anyway, time for me to go get ready for Plyometrics, and good luck to everyone! emoticon

Bring it!

So that's day 2 complete! Only 88 more to go. Had a lot of fun doing Plyometrics today, though had to take a few extra breaks in between. I did, however, give it 200%. I must say, it was a LOT of fun. Can't wait for tomorrow's workout to come! emoticon Shoulders & Arms and Ab Ripper X! Bring it!

Hi Veronica and group,

I'm in also. I finished a round back in 2010, and did a maintenance plan for a while, but eventually just quit altogether. I was in the best shape of my life, and look forward to getting back there. Last Christmas, I received p90x2 as a gift. My plan is to do a round of classic now, then be ready for x2 by Christmas!

Chest and Back and ARX today, started Shakeology for the first time. I've done protein before, but can't wait to see if Shakeology really makes the difference most people claim.

Good luck to everyone!

Great job Andrew! Plyometrics always kicks my happy butt LOL! I love that workout. When I first started, i was so out of shape that I couldn't do it... so it blows my mind away that although still a tough workout, I'm now able to complete it

Awesome start! I'm so happy to have you here with us!

Can you sprint? I have a great sprinting training that might help. I recommend doing it only once a week and pacing yourself. If you want, I can send you the schedule for that.

Shakeology is awesome! I use it everyday and it really does help with cravings and such.

I also want to add P90X2 which to be honest with you scares me a bit! But if we all finish together here, I might open a P90X2 group around Christmas as well and will let you know so you can join me emoticon

Just completed Day 3, Shoulders & Arms and Ab Ripper X. Had to take my time with both to make sure my form was good. Struggled a bit with Ab Rippers X, Modified a few sets, and some modifications worked perfect, and some didn't. Ah well, I'll keep trying to find easier, but just as effective ways to get through Ab Ripper X!

Bring it!
