How Do I Get Ripped? - Body Beast!

30 day Body Beast results are here! The measurements show good progress although I would like to see more change in the pictures. However, last time I did a bulking cycle I found I needed +10 lbs. mass to see significant differences in my progress pictures. Day 90 should be good! Weight + 6 pounds, body fat - 2%, waist - 1", chest + 2", right arm +1", left arm +1", right thigh + 1", left thigh + 0.75" at 3500 calories and 50% carbs - 25% protein - 25% fat. I have been using the Beachbody Hardcore Base Shake, Fuel Shot, Super Suma and MAX Creatine plus E&E Energy and Endurance pre-workout formula. I have been using a combination of dumbbells and EZ Curl Bar with a bench. I also leverage a 20-lb weighted vest for all pullup moves, although I will be moving up to 30-lbs next BULK:Back workout.

Body Beast is a great program and I am seeing strong gains in performance for the range of BUILD, BULK and BEAST workouts. TEMPO workouts are my favorite (eccentric or negative discipline). The incorporation of progressive, super, multi-, force and giant sets is insane and most workouts get your heart rate really high as you focus on weights plus limited rest as you prepare for the next moves between sets (I attribute this in part to the body fat reduction I have observed in 30 days). I am pumped to see 6 pounds mass gain in only 30 days at lower body fat percentage and look forward to additional ramp in mass gain during the current BULK block followed by stripping body fat further in the BEAST block. This program works!

The nutrition and supplementation are important for max results. It is challenging to get in 3500 calories with clean nutrition but the Body Beast supplements drive this behavior plus nutrition guide recommendations. I use myfitnesspal to confirm that my calories and ratios are on track. Work continues.... follow daily accountability at the TEAM RAGE thread on Team Beachbody!

just 1 question please :

did you lose 2% bodyfat because you actually lost fat or because you simply added muscle weight and hence bodyfat percentage went down?

In other words, am I expected to reduce my total fat weight (total fat in the body) by doing BodyBeast??

Thanks Mo and great question! I think some people may respond differently but I am definitely seeing (and feeling) myself lean out with the mass gain. This is good. I am aware several others have seen the same. Your question is good though. I feel with clean nutrition, supplements and pushing hard in the workouts you can lean out while adding the mass expected. The Lean Beast option also increase the cardio to enhance the process (I am doing the Huge Beast version). Are you doing Body Beast?

rage9498: Yes, I had wanted to start on Saturday, September 1st, however, I have lower back spasms and I can’t life anything. So, my DAY 1 won’t be until maybe Monday the 10th.

Rage - wow, you're having great results so far!

I've just finished week 9 and am into the Beast Phase. I gained about 8 pounds the first 60 days and 1% BF. Felt pretty bloated since I just wasn't used to eating that many carbs. I'm hoping I can trim back down the next three weeks. But don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled with the results so far and can tell I'm getting stronger each week!

Yes i'm in the 2ed week of bodybeast. Though, I don't see progress yet although I kill myself in the training. By the end of the third week, I should hopefully see some results.

TEAM RAGE - Day 60 Body Beast results. I love this program and hope to see some major changes from Day 60 to Day 90. I would expect with lower calories and higher protein that I can get the abs to pop. Generally I feel like I have gained some good mass without adding too much fat in 60 days, especially the chest, shoulders, back and arms. Stats: Weight +11 lbs., Body fat - 1%, Waist +1", Chest +2.5", Right/Left thigh +1.5/1.0", Right/Left arm +1.5/1.5" at 3500 calories and 50%C/25%P/25%F. I did have two long weekends of travel recently that required modification to the schedule. Also, the past week I did not take Super Suma, MAX Creatine or E&E Energy and Endurance, however, I was taking Hardcore Base Shake, Fuel Shot and Shakeology throughout. I will be back on the other supplements after my upcoming medical exam. Again, great program and I look forward to the final results. Rage. Become a Machine.

I used to be the skinny kid and then i gained weight and lost it again and now i want to bulk up, but im eating 3 000 calories at 115 pounds sedentary.
Starting Bulk phase tomorrow.

Hey Wiicera!! 2 pounds is not bad at all so keep up the good work. How are measurements, Day 0 to Day 30? Are you doing any additional workouts or cardio? Send me a message with more details on your nutrition and I can take a look. I have some ideas. Push hard in the BULK block man!

My final results for the 90-Day Body Beast program are here!!! Crank up the volume and check it out in HD. Added 12 pounds muscle mass, lost 3% body fat and 2 inches off waist, increased chest size by 3 inches, arms/thighs by +2 inches, and forearms/calves by +1.5 inches. All in 90 days!!
