My mom did a review on Derm Exclusive that I wanted to share:

For 30 days, I offered half my face up to Obagi and the other half to Beachbody’s new skinline derm EXCLUSIVE. Ironically, I received my derm EXCLUSIVE on my 42nd birthday =)

Obagi Nu Derm was recommended by a plastic surgeon I know who’s skin looks fabulous and claims all he’s done to keep it that way is to use an excellent skincare product — Obagi.
Obagi’s regiment for the morning: wash face with Obagi cleanser, apply Obagi toner. Afterwards, you apply the Obagi Clear and Obagi Exfoderm, and Obagi Eye Cream. After all that sinks in, you apply a sunscreen.
Obagi’s regiment for the evening: the same as morning BUT change the Obagi Exfoderm for a mix of Obagi Blender with some Tretinoin (Retina A) 0.1 % by prescription only.

derm EXCLUSIVE‘s regiment for morning and night: wash face with derm EXCLUSIVE cleanser, 2 to 3 times a week at night use the Micro Peel Resurfacing Pads, apply Intensive Repair Serum, Collagen Lift, and then finally the miracle…Fill & Freeze Wrinkle Treatment. Follow all that with sunscreen.
Obagi Pros….

Honestly…I can’t think of any (and I wanted this stuff to work!).
Obagi Cons…

Costly
By day 4 my face was red and scaly from the Tretinoin, but after a week was considerably less flakey.
Product is thick and hard to apply any sort of liquid make up on top of the Obagi products
I didn’t see a dramatic difference for the money paid =(
Obagi contains substances that I prefer not to put on my face again. In the Clear, we have: sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) which is banned in Canada. It is a potentially harsh irritant. Clear also contains parabens — 3 of them. Parabens have been linked to endocrine disruption. They are harsh and are a possibly linked to certain cancers. The Exfoderm also contains 5 parabens and “phenoxyethanol”…which is like embalming fluid =( The Eye Cream contains 3 parabens. SO…enough of that!! I don’t want any of this on my face unless, of course, it made me look 18 again (just kidding!!)

derm EXCLUSIVE Pros…

Less expensive (+ 25% off as a Beachbody Coach….here’s the details on that).
The products are light-weight and easily absorbed. My skin felt SO silky after applying. Without telling Kalee, she could tell a difference between the 2 sides and immediately picked the derm EXCLUSIVE for looking better.
The Fill and Freeze Wrinkle Treatment…really works!!!
No hazardous substances in the product!!! Well…the Intensive Repair Serum does have Phenoxyethanol (that embalming stuff…not necessarily bad for us but just gross).

Verdict

I was really, really wanting the Obagi to win (even though I’m a Beachbody coach). I had paid a lot of money for it and my friend, the plastic surgeon, swore by it and has his beautiful skin as his testament. I just went into this product experiment thinking Obagi was going to beat derm EXCLUSIVE, and I just would have to suck it up and let the world know that while I love Beachbody, and all it’s products that its new skin line just hadn’t lived up to the fancy Obagi stuff. WELL…I’m glad I didn’t bet anyone. I would’ve lost. derm EXCLUSIVE is the winner HAND’S DOWN!! Now…I still look the same age. I don’t look 25 after my month’s use, and in Obagi’s defense, you are supposed to stick to their program for at least 18 weeks. However, in a month’s time, the derm EXCLUSIVE side is noticeably better than the Obagi side. The derm EXCLUSIVE products are lighter, silkier, and just make my skin glow. I love that there are no substances in them that I have to worry about putting on my face. The Obagi didn’t make me glow, and I was applying substances that have been proven to be harsh or worse. I could literally roll “granny beads” off my Obagi forehead each evening. I don’t know if it was the thick product or dead skin.
I’m keeping my home direct shipment of derm EXCLUSIVE coming. I may have to put the auto-ship on hold because the products are lasting longer than the month that was expected. Also, I will keep up with the Tretinoin that I used with Obagi (it’s a prescription Retina A…not an Obagi product) because every one from Dr. Oz to my dermatologist says it’s the actual golden anti-aging serum.

What skincare line do you currently use?

just ordered Derm... I decided to treat myself to new skin care stuff, I have SUPER sensitive skin so hopefully this will not be too harsh... also ordered ultimate reset

Haha!! I got my Derm for my 45th b-day and love it. I saw a difference in the first week. Not a huge fan of the freeze and fill, it doesn't last the full amount of time and my makeup goes on weird after I use it. I can fix the makeup though. It has really helped the purple circles under my eyes. It has also helped to fade out the freckles on my face.

I am glad it worked for you. i was thinking about trying this product, but I still have not decided if I want to purchase it just yet

My sister can't use the freeze and fill. She uses the other products though. I don't use it often because I just don't see where it really relaxes the wrinkles. The other stuff I love though. I also broke out some the first few times I used it but it stopped.
