We will be starting a fresh round of Power90 beginning September 17, 2012 thru September 24, 2012.


Let me help you reach your personal fitness goals. There is no reason why you need to go at this alone! Together there is nothing that we cannot accomplish.


It doesn’t matter what size, shape or physical ability you may have, we will help you succeed by using this simple formula Fitness + Nutrition + Support = Success.

Here are a few tips to get you going:

• If you want to see great results, you have to focus on your nutrition as much as the workouts. Nutrition plays a key role in how you will reach your goals and attain the new and better you! Be prepared by getting a solid nutrition plan in place prior to starting. You can do this week-to-week or even plan out your entire month. Over time you will learn new eating habits that you can carry with you for the rest of your life.


Shakeology is a great way to meet all of your nutritional needs! As a meal or a snack it fuels your body with everything it needs in order to BRING IT every day!


• Nothing is more important or motivating than to see where you started and how you are progressing along the way! It is so CRUCIAL that you do the following BEFORE you begin:


• Take your Measurements now and at each 30 day interval

• Take your before & after pictures. Today, day 30, day 60, day 90


Also utilize the tools that TBB provides. Complete your profile, and track your measurements and weight online. I use MyFitnessPal online to track my food diary as well as my calories burned each day. MFP also has apps for iPhone, Andriod, and Blackberry.


• Accountability: Post your accountability DAILY on the message boards! This is the key to staying motivated. Here is an interesting statistic I’ve noticed over the past couple of threads I’ve been in. Out of all the people who join the thread and commit to the workouts, less than 20% will complete the full 90 day program! But what I found is, of those of post every day they are 90% likely to complete the program and transform their lives.


The message boards and forums are a great way to meet others that are going through exactly what you are and it helps stay accountable and motivated! Your forum buddies will have tips and information that has helped them and could help you as well. You will be doing the same in no time!

Thank you Mike. I am On!

I am 30 yr old male, 5'7", 258 lbs, targeting to lose 100 lbs. I am a doctor with a desk job and couldn't find time for exercise hence this weight gain in last 5 years. I have been through off & on dieting , various exercise regimes and weight loss gimmicks but none worked. What I lost, I gained back many times over!

Came across Power 90 while just going through some weight loss stories. So I got myself a program (videos, book and all) and have read it through and it seems cut-out for me.

So, here I am and just found out this thread about starting Power 90 this week. I planned to start on 17 Sept but lost heart and didnt start. I hope the support at this forum will be the missing ingredient.

Measurements

Starting weight: 258 lbs
Height: 5'7"
Chest: 49 inches
Waist: 52 inches
Hips: 49.5 inches

Hi Omair,

Glad to have you join the group! You will find plenty of motivation and accountability here!

When do you plan on starting? Remember it does not take much to push play emoticon

As this group grows you will have the opportunity to learn from others and also see that its not only you that needs this program. This group WILL help you meet your goals and before you know it 90 days are gone and you will be asking everyone what is the next program!

I am starting my day 1 tonight. I will post tonight after my workout and will provide what I did with Nutrition as well.

Day 1:

I just finished Sculpt 1-2 and I did great with it! My nutrition was 100% today as well. I did feel it when I had to do the 7/7/7 pushups and I admit I had to take a knee near the end emoticon I am going to like this program and I plan on adding to it with other activities as well.

How are the rest of you doing?

My name is Erin, I coach swimming for a living, and I picked Power 90 because it seemed like a good place to start emoticon (I had watched and assortment of BB videos from the library, so I thought I'd start at the beginning when selecting my program.)
My goals are threefold:
1. to get healthier (mentally winter is rough for me so extra endorphins will help; and I have a few injuries I'm rehabbing at the moment too)
2. to lead by example for the kids I work with
3. to lose weight (preventing illness and injury down the road, considering I'm pretty obese at this point)

Omair, today is day 7, so I'm not pushing play today. emoticon Tomorrow, probably. I'm trying to get rid of a flu, too, so I'm trying to be flexible about day 8 if I need to be. I tend to push myself a little too hard sometimes, so I'm learning to get some balance in there too.

Good Morning Omair and Welcome Erin!!! Glad to have you join the group! Well today is day 2 for me and I will admit I am a little sore today emoticon

I am going to be checking out a kickboxing class tonight so I will be doing that as well as P90.

Omair Did you get your workout in yesterday? How did it go for you?

Erin How has the program been for you for the first week? Are you following any type of nutrition?

Day 2:

Sweat 1/2 with Ab Ripper was a good workout! This part of the program makes you feel good at the end because you feel like you accomplished something! If you are not sweating at then end of this then you didn't push hard enough!

My nutrition was good as I had the usual Chicken and Veggies for dinner. I ate 100% clean. I also drank plenty of Water throughout the day.

How is everyone else doing?

Finally I pushed play today: emoticon

Day 1

I started with Sculpt 1-2 today and broke some sweat after a long time. I used 12 lbs for a start but found them to be a little heavier while going through the routine.

I guess I'll make use 8 lbs in the next workout.

Very happy to have finally started. Didn't actually do all the required 8-15 reps but tried to do 5-6. Hope I'll make up the number later.

Will start taking some supplements from tomorrow.

Wasn't very particular about my food today and rolled quite at the bottom of michi's ladder. hope to climb the ladder soon.

Day 3:

Another day in the books! Today I pushed myself on the push-ups and tried to do them all! I was close and ended up dropping to one knee on the last set of seven! I felt really good after my workout! My nutrition was really good as well, I had a piece of Salmon with brown rice and some veggies for dinner. I have been drinking Shakeology as well for a week so far for breakfast and I have more energy than normal throughout my day. I like it so far and will post after 30 days of use and give you my honest opinion of it. Well that's it for now...

Day 2

Sweat 1-2 was more daunting than I expected! I almost wanted to give up in the first 10 minutes but I carried on and felt so good afterwards.
