Hello!
I am into week 3 of Insanity and it is kicking my butt - great stuff.
Just seeing if anyone has any commentary on how Insanity as worked as a cross-train tool - eg if it has enhanced your performance in your primary sport. I'm a swimmer with a penchant for open water swimming. Fall is a bit of the off season so I'm trying Insanity as something new and different to do & to take a break from the water. I'm mostly curious as to how all this land training and new strength will enhance my swimming! With how hard I'm working - I can't imagine I'll feel some benefit.
Thanks!
Bonnie
Congrats on starting Insanity and being done with month 1 almost!!! I must say that yes it has helped so much with my performance although I am not a sporty person or wasn't before this! I was never a runner. I now run a half marathon in about 88 minutes so yes my speed has increased greatly! I have also done P90X, P90X2, Insanity Asylum and Insanity. I love these programs! In the past I have never been a person who was into physical activity now I am doing the mud events and everything! It's insane but I love it!!!! Keep up the good work!!!
