I decided to start a new accountability group for my friends who are not on facebook. Although we may all be doing a different workout I still want to be able for everyone to have a place to hang out and chat, get support, motivation, or just share.....

SIMPLE RULES:
No Selling
No Negative Comments
No advertising of products
Be Kind and Courteous and thoughtful
**That's All**

I will be inviting several to join over the next few days but feel free to pop in and join the crowd.

A Little about me: I have completed 2 full rounds of P90X, ChaleanX, TurboJam, LesMills PUMP, RevAbs, and 10-minute trainer. Just purchased COMBAT and will be ready to get that one start in 2013.

I figured October would be the perfect time to complete one more 90 Day program to end out 2012.....My Program - P90X.

Let's get the party started People and JUST DO IT!!!!!!

I can't wait to start the Les Mills Combat!! I'll be completing the Les Mills Hybrid by then as well. I have a goal to have a 6pack by Xmas and am on my way. Did the core workout yesterday instead of the abs and my tummy is so wonderfully sore today lol

Tuesday Fun Day....Did P90X with a friend this morning. Just have to say she was a trouper because she had been up all night not feeling well but finished the workout anyway. I know it can be difficult sometimes to do your workout even when you don't feel like it, but she went at her pace and we are keeping on track....What workout did you do today??? Was it fun? And are you still on track with your awesomeness? emoticon

Thursday workout done and lots of work to be done today. Shakeology down the hatch and off to a busy day at work. Hopefully by Monday my girls will all be ready to start the posts and holding each other accountable. @Kaci, @Cristin, @sarah, @Jaymie...

O.K. people.....This didn't get off to a very good start so we are jump starting this group with a new round......I will post this link to my facebook friends and those I talk to on email and see if we can get this going. We all need the support and not everyone is on Facebook......
I started yet another round of P90X and am incorporating COMBAT into my workout week as well.
I'm looking to drop quite a bit of weight and get past this dang plateau that I've been hanging around in.

Let me know what you are doing and what struggles or wins you have had......Who;s ready?

Hey Ladies,

I'm Rachel. I just started power90 and am so excited about it. Long story short, I've lost 85 on my own by eating healthier and doing activities more for enjoyment than exercise, re; long walks equipped with a camera book or music and yoga. Iabout 've been stuck at the same weight now for about six months and would love to lose fifteen more, to bring my total down to 100 pounds lost! That would be so exciting.

I wish you all luck and am mentally high five-ing you.

It's day 3 and I'm SORE.....Did an extra Turbo Kick last night with a friend, and although I enjoyed it My legs are a little wobbly today. (is that even a word?)....So off to workout with a friend this A.M. - Shoulders & Arm. This is always a light workout to me compared to the other days, so I should be read for some Combat later today....

Woke up starving this morning.....emoticon Time to go eat...

Congrats Rachel - What an inspiring story. Kudos to you for powering through. Power90 is a great program....I like your statement that you did things more for fun than for exercise....I actually enjoy my exercise. I was talking to my 15 year old last night after I had gotten back from a TurboKick class and she asked me how it was and I said I had alot of fun. She says "FUN? oh ya, I forgot you like to exercise." emoticon cracked me up even though that is really not the truth. I used to hate to exercise

Today is YogaX and I'm pretty sore. Here goes 90 minutes of being very uncomfortable but I do know it will stretch out all those sore muscles....What's your workout today and was it fun?emoticon

fell a few times during yoga. Balance is a bit off but it will only get better. I was shocked that my flexibility is not what it used to be. I guess all the weight lifting workouts with squats and lunges have tightened me up. I think it is so awesome that Tony put yoga in this program because I now see how important it is to keep your flexibility. It also really relieves the soreness and helps to lengthen the muscles......Do you like or Hate Yoga?

Monday Funday.... chest & back / ab ripper on the schedule then off to work. I was very sore over the weekend but feeling great today and ready for the week. Mondays are usually a hard day for most people including me. What do you guys do to motivate yourself to get up and workout when you really don't "feel it"? Do you have to talk yourself into it or do you just "do it" without thinking?

WOW.....A Whirlwind of a day so far. Plyo this morning and Turbo Fire Core Abs this afternoon....Maybe a turbo kick class tonight with a girl friend.....It's probably WAY more than I need to be doing but I used to hate to exercise and now it's almost become a Hobby. Not sure why....but it sure is better than sitting on the couch watching TV.

I'm not sure how I got to this point because I have never been around people who workout or are even half way active...It's only been in the last year that I have found friends that do workout and work toward living a healthy life style. It sure makes a difference who you surround yourself with.....

p90x women inner strength accountability group no bulk

Week 2 day 3 done. I remember why I love this program so much. You build strength so quick without even realizing it. The overwhelming soreness is gone and I just feel the normal soreness from working with heavy weights. (heavy for me that is). Everyone is different and the amount of weight is not the point. I lift to failure at 10-16 reps. so right now I use 8, 10, or 15 lbs depending on exercise. I am working with a women in her late 50's. She thought she couldn't do P90X because she didn't want to look bulking and honestly she felt she was too old for and "extreme" workout. We built her up gradually by starting at 3 days a week strength only and she did her own cardio. Since the first of the year she has decided to commit to the 6 days a week full P90X program and I am so excited to see her making such great progress....She has even impressed herself......That's what this is all about. Finding your own inner strength.....

Happy Thursday to everyone. YOGA was the workout of the day, then I did Fire Starter by Chalene Johnson just to get some extra cardio in...The extra cardio seems to be really helping me drop some extra inches. But it's hard sometimes to find that extra time in my schedule to get in 2 workouts. But I keep telling myself to shut the world off for the next 90 days and have lazer focus on my goal. It will all be worth it when I get to that goal and can then refocus and recommit to a maintenance program....

Happy Friday Ya'll.....was up before the sun and got my workout done with my friend Cyndi....P90X Legs and back. Getting ready to do TurboFire Core 20. Have you tried this yet? It is an amazing ab workout.....
Did you know that as women get older They hold more fat in their belly? Core strength is the basis for all exercise. The stronger the core the more power you have....Go get that core worked out and have a great weekend.emoticon
