First off, I would like to thank you for creating INSANITY. It is the most intense workout I have ever done, and I love it! I just finished week 6, and I have lost 35 lbs and 4" off my waist (it helps when you have a bit to lose). Your style is the perfect form of motivation for me.

My question is for my wife. I talked her into doing INSANITY with me. Our schedules don't really allow us to workout together, so motivation can be tough when working out alone. Her personality is different from mine. She is very shy. I was always involved in sports growing up, but she was not. She doesn't respond well to aggressive pushing. She hasn't lost much weight and doesn't want to do measurements. She has expressed her frustration a few times. I can tell that she has lost some inches, and her muscles are much more toned. As hard as I try, I just can't seem to find the right words to help keep her motivated. I was wondering if you have any tips for different forms of motivation.

Hi Shaun,
Been loving the insanity program, I'll be finishing my first 60 days at the end of the month and am already seeing crazy results. Being in college I cannot afford The Asylum just yet and dont have the time, with finals coming, to start another 60 days right away. Would you recommend doing three insanity workouts a week (M,W,F) and if so which three would you recommend?

Hey Shaun,
I am from New Zealand and am waiting to recieve Insanity and can't wait to start it!
You are such an inspiration to me, one of the reasons I have made a career decision for
once I am in shape to become a personal trainer. My question is; we can't get shakeology here so is there another shake you would suggest I try?

Shaun T I first want to thank you for helping me to get my life back on track I just Finished my first round of Insanity on 8/27 started the program at 6'2 310lbs and finished at 267 lbs Thats 43 lbs and 46.5 inches in 63 days I really can't thank you enough.So to my question I decided to do P90x for a round , after I've completed this program would you recommend a hybrid of Insanity and P90x or Jump into the Asylum? Thanks Greg

hey shaun watsup! quick question im done asylum and continue to still do it along with some wight lifting what would you say is the best way to put on lean muscle mass without gaining fat...should i increase calories, carbs, protein or all three what the best way nutrition wise? Thanks a lot appreciate it.

What's the biggest difference between vol.1 and vol.2? Also, can I maintain weight with asylum vol.2 if I don't want to (and don't need to) lose it?

Trying to get those last few pounds off, I am currently in a super group on facebook, with the greatest coach ever Danielle Hinson. I am starting with Insanity, then going to Asylum vol.1 and then Starting volume 2. I am currently doing these in the am, before the kids get ready for school. Should I add something extra in the afternoon for better results, or should I do them as is?

How can I ensure that I will burn fat and not muscle after a cardio workout like Asylum? I am used to nutrition plan from Body Beast but isn't it too much food and supplements for cardio based training?

Hey Shaun T, Tom Funk from Denver, thanks for coming to Parker, CO on the 19th. Awesome working out right in front of the stage to push myself more. Just finished Insanity / Asylum Hybrid in time for Asylum 2 which starts tomorrow. What is going to be the most challenging workout in the series?

As many times as I have given you the most evil of stares through the T.V. screen when you say the next absurdly ridiculous workout move, I LOVE doing INSANITY! I just completed my first day of month two today (I like how not only did I have to do the fit test, but ALSO had to do an hour of MAX INTERVAL CIRCUIT right after!! You're obviously in "No b*tchassness mode for month 2!!) and am really excited about the results I've seen so far. Whenever I'd workout before, I'd mostly focus on my legs, butt, and arms. Notice I'd skip the core. Whenever I'd try a new core workout, I just wouldn't see results and would consequently get discouraged emoticon. I REFUSE to let the same thing happen with INSANITY! I've seen how the program has already made my legs look PHENOMENAL and feel powerful and strong, so I know I will eventually see that glistening six-pack I've always wanted (It's in there somewhere!!). I was wondering if you had and tips/advice about foods to avoid (or double up on) to help burn belly fat. I'm 5'3" and 125 pounds, so I'm in pretty decent shape as it is, but I've always struggled with that stubborn, cursed pooch. I try to eat whole wheat/grains, get a ton of protein, and eat 2-4 servings of veggies per day (aka my idea of a balanced diet). I have HUGE sweet tooth, but I do a pretty decent job of keeping it in control (a girl has to give in once and a while!). I know you probably get 103943203438 posts and messages a day, but ANY advice you could give would be awesome!! Until then, I'll continue to yell at you and call you crazy (through the T.V. of course) for the duration of month 2.

Dear Shaun T,
I am a Captain in the United States Army. My unit is currently in Afghanistan. The reason I am writing you is 2 fold. 1. I started the Insanity program since being here and after only 2 weeks believe that I can already feel and tell the difference!!! 2. Since I have been doing this program a few others have started to do it as well, one of them being my CO who is single. I mention this because he saw Tonya on the videos and goes on and on about how beautiful she is. I was wondering if there would be any way at all to get an autograph picture of her for him for Christmas? I know that it would make his day if not his year.

Hi Shaun T,

First off I want to THANK YOU for encouraging me in every workout... Every time you say I'm not alone.. you always make me dig deeper and I get teary eyed.
Today is my 9th day on Insanity.
